These are three DEW line sites in northern mainland Canada, to the east of Tuktoyaktuk.
Clinton Point is almost 300 miles east of Tuktoyaktuk and on the Northwest Territories and Nunavut border. It is the site of a closed DEW station (closed in 1993) and all the buildings have been removed, unlike many other sites where buildings are still almost complete. The roads and the gravel runway down by the beach are still there.
Horton River is 150 miles east of Tuktoyaktuk, up on higher land above the cliffs at around 500 feet ASL. The NWS (North Warning System) replaced the I site which was there previously and which ceased operations in 1963. The NWS is serviced by helicopter from a barge 400 yards away on the beach.
Keats Point is 270 miles east of Tuktoyaktuk, 7 miles from the coast but significantly close to a lake, which was probably used for float plane delivery in the summer (or ski plane delivery in the winter) of NWS station elements during construction.

File Description:
Taloyoak is on the coast of northern mainland Canada, on the west of the Boothia Peninsula, where it is at it's narrowest. Gjoa Haven is 80 miles southwest, and Hall Beach is 300 miles to the east. Taloyoak was established around a Hudson Bay trading post that was relocated from Fort Ross in 1948 because of poor ice conditions. There is now a clinic, school, church, recreation centre, two markets, two small hotels, and housing for the population of around 900. The airfield is to the west of the village on higher ground at 92 feet asl, and the 4,020 feet of 100 feet wide gravel runway is aligned 151T/331T where T stands for "true" as opposed to magnetic in the Northern Domestic Airspace. Only JETA-1 is available, unless there is some 100LL in drums. There are flights by First Air and Canadian North and the AI includes a daily flight of each, plus an afternoon cargo visit by a Buffalo C46; the closest large city is Yellowknife, 750 miles southwest.

File Description:
V Australia Boeing 777-300ER for POSKY's 777-300 V2. Created for and tested in FS2004, FSX compatibility not guaranteed. These textures are in 32-bit for quality and are primarily handpainted. Nearly every texture is totally customized and created with attention to detail, from the tires, doorways, Business Class Bar, landing gear details, spoiler details, flap details, different dirt patterns on each wing, new engine and pylon textures, custom engine blades and transparency, night lighting including a glow on the nose gear door and cabin lights that dim when the landing lights are turned off as well as the glow of the window lights on the wings and engines which also dim when the landing lights are off, reflections of antennas on the top and bottom of the fuselage, custom ground service vehicles, cargo bays, and much, much more, just explore the aircraft to see the amount of detail put into it. Feel free to ZipDive for more preview shots, but there is so much more detail that the previews don't show.

I looked around for a bit for the Dash-8-102 in the new livery of US Airway Express, operated by Piedmont Airlines, but could not find one. So, I decided to repaint it in the excellent Dreamwings model. This aircraft and roughly 54 other Dash-8's (100 and 300 models) are operated under the US Airways Express logo by Piedmont Airlines, originally founded as Henson Aviation (that's the HA in the Registration). The new US Airways livery which this aircraft wears is very striking and colorful and is quite a contrast from the prior US Airways livery. Though I could only find a few photos of this airframe, I repainted this with a goal of having a realistic and detailed end product. I hope this repaint does not fail in either of those aspects. Fuselage textures are 32-bit no mips, all other textures DXT3 (no mips). This is a textures only package; you must have the Dreamwings Design Dash8 Q-100 model available here at AVSIM.

The registrations are: XA-ABC, XA-NAF, XA-NAK, XA-NAV, XA-SIW, XA-SIX, XA-TTM, XA-TTP, XA-TUK, XA-TVD, XA-TVL, XA-TVN, XA-TWJ, XA-TWO, XA-TWV, XA-TXD, XA-TXF, XA-TYC, XA-TYI, XA-TYO, XA-UAA, XA-UCA, XA-UCG (All of them include Sticker Teleton or Aviacpass and 10th Anniversary in case with the metal engines, as with metal engines as the first aircrafts of the airline). GMG Airline was established in 1997 and started domestic operations on 6 April 1998. International services were launched six years later on 8 September 2004, with a service from Chittagong to Kolkata.
GMG began regular flights to Bangkok, Delhi and Kathmandu on 20 October 2006. It started services to Kuala Lumpur on 24 January 2007. The airline started its operation to the Middle East with daily flights to Dubai on 1 February 2008. In July 2010, GMG initiated flights to Jeddah and Riyadh.
The airline also served Abu Dhabi and Karachi as well as domestic stations Jessore and Sylhet
A GMG Airlines Bombardier Dash 8 In February 2008 the airline added a leased Boeing 747-300 to the fleet starting wide-body operations, this proved to be a White Elephant in an era which saw Global economic problems and an unprecedented peak in oil prices, thus causing a substantial loss to the carrier, the 747 was eventually phased out after just five months of service.On 17 June 2009, the largest conglomerate of Bangladesh, BEXIMCO took a 50% stake in the airline, re-branding it and raising service standards to a higher level. This is another of the many airfields that are all around the coast of Hudson Bay, this one being on the eastern, Quebec side. Akulivik is around 110 miles south of Ivujivik, which is on the northeastern corner of the Bay, and some 60 miles north of Puvirnituq. The population is 630 or so and the village grew from a move back to the area by one family in 1973, followed by others in the following years; the closure of the Hudson Bay trading post post in 1952 had pushed all residents to move south to Puvirnituq. The village is unusual in that it has a built harbour instead of the usual beached storage of boats. The village is built on the central prong of a three pronged spear of headlands (from which the village name is derived) while the airfield is a mile or so further inland. I have no information regarding what I think may be a new terminal building, so this includes only the old original one. The runway is just under 3,500 feet of gravel aligned 09-27, and the ai includes the scheduled flight by an Air Inuit Dash 8-300, plus GA.

FSX PIA Boeing 747-367, registration AP-BGG. Pakistan International Airlines B747-367 Megatop Jumbo, AP-BGG, titled "Kaghan - Mountain Paradise". Contains photoreal tail, accurately placed titles and door surround repainted to match the actual airplane. Engines repainted with large yellow stickers on the left side of the casing to match the actual airplane. Being one of the later model 747-300 aircraft to roll off the assembly line, AP-BGG has a different style wingroot and no wingtip antennas as compared to other classic 747s, and the relevant model has been included. Repainted on the Project Open Sky 747v4 Advanced model. Contains ground service vehicles, stairs, tow truck, catering trucks, luggage loaders and containers painted in standard PIA colors. Luggage containers specially repainted to give a more realistic look. Registration of the aircraft painted on the bottom of the left wing, as on the real airplane. Panel updated to include utility gauge and tow truck gauge. Updated model and fde. Complete pack, requires no external downloads. Textures in high quality 32 bit format to conserve quality. Repaint by Irfan Khan and Ahmed Ahsen, exclusively from Virtual PIA.

Textures for Jens B. Kristensens Bristol Britannia 300 model (BRT_V10.ZIP). These textures depict Britannia 317 c/n 13426, built at Filton and registered G-APNB Nov. 1958. She was delivered 30.04.1959 to British and Commonwealth Shipping Ltd .and in May 1960 transferred to the parent company Hunting Clan Air Transport Ltd. This aircraft and sister ship G-APNA made several UK - Far East trooping charter flights. Fitted with 114 rearward-facing seats, the interior layout was described as "unusually luxurious" for a troop carrier! Six flights each month were made between London, Singapore and Hong Kong with fuel stops at Istanbul, Karachi and Bombay. Further trooping contracts followed to Cyprus, Kenya and Aden also other charter services were flown (See video clip on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p9feJUh_iE). Photos with an without colored engine cowlings exist. Cheetline and titles were repeatedly altered too. 1959-60 G-APNB was leased to East African Airways Corp., EAAC. In July 1960 both Britannias came to British United Airways, BUA by merger. G-APNB were sold to Donaldson Intl. 1967 and leased out to Lloyd Intl. 1967 and 1969. She retired 1971 and was broken up at Luton.
