The MCR Sportster is a very high performance aircraft, that can cruise as fast as 300 km/h with only a 100 hp engine, at very low cost.

The MCR Sportster can be equipped with a choice of different power plants, but may also be fitted with other options such as :
Ballistic Recovery System parachute
Extended range wing tanks.
Toe operated Hydraulic brakes
The MCR Sportster is available in kit form in respect with the CNSK regulation (specific kit airworthiness certificate) or in the "experimental" category depending on the registration country.

| Boeing 747 Revised Lightmap Package |

File Description:
CLS Boeing 747 Revised Lightmap Package; utilizing the payware CLS model set. I neglected some of the lightmaps for all of the
747 repaints I have been cranking out lately, so here is my pennance. Included are full fuselage/tail lightmaps for the 747-100,
-200B, -200BM/Combi, -300, and -300M/Combi. Additionally, in each folder, I have included optional lightmaps to enable a tail
logo light; and for the -100/-200 models, an optional port side upper deck door window. I have only done two freighters to date,
and I made custom lightmaps from scratch for those; so no freighters are included here. I have a whole gob of freighters planned,
but haven't seen any two with identical window configurations yet, so all will have custom lightmaps. This lightmap update covers
any CLS 747 pax repaint I have done prior to this release; and all subsequent repaints will have the updated lightmaps already included. Repaints by Michael Pearson.

File Description:
EVA was growing quickly in 1998, focusing on international routes and leaving most of the domestic flying to its subsidiary, Uni Air. The MD-90s were very quickly transferred to Uni Air by late 1998, so these plans represent a rare time with a pair of MD-90s in the old EVA Air colors. EVA had amassed a decent fleet of 747s by 1998 and was even flying a KHH-LAX route several times weekly. Most MD-11s were already flying for EVA Cargo, and the 3 pax MD-11s remaining had the "ANK EVA" partnership logo. Textures by Ranmori Scythe for the FAIB 767-200, 767-300, 747-400, FSPX MD-11, and AIA MD-90 included. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. This is a repaint of the excellent TDS (Tenkuu Developers Studio) Boeing 757-300 WL model, in Skyline Express Airline livery, UR-SLE. Texture only. The textures are saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reverse with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. File Description:
Air Austral had yet to venture into longhaul flying in 1998, with 2 737-300s and a 737-500 flying to neighboring islands and venturing a bit into Western and Southern Africa. As the Comoros and Mayotte didn't have flag carriers, Air Austral and Air Madagascar connected destinations to these islands beyond RUN. Note that the YVA airport has since closed and the HAH airport further north is used now. These plans use the old airport and a scenery will eventually be created. Today, the airline has grown many times it's size in 1998 and now flies 777-300ERs and 787s across the globe.

Textures for Jens B. Kristensens Bristol Britannia 300 model (BRT_V10.ZIP). These textures depict Britannia 253 c/n 13508, built at Belfast and delivered 16.9.1960 to the RAF as XM496 "Regulus". Withdrawn from military use the aircraft was sold in January 1976 to Monarch Airlines as G-BDUP and three months later to Afrek Ltd.. Based at Athens, Greece it was used as freighter until August 1984, when it was bought by Aerocaribbean, Cuba as CU-T120. Aerocaribbean used the aircraft mainly for the carriage of troops and military equipment between Cuba and Angola and for all kind of freight charters, often livestock flights to destinations in Canada, South and Central America and Europe. In March 1990 the aircraft was withdrawn from use an stored at Havana. Sold to Trans Air Cargo of Zaire in 1993 as 9Q-CJH, later as EL-WXA. Since 1997 this Britannia is preserved now at Kemble, UK by the Britannia Aircraft Preservation Trust.

| Quaqtaq CYHA in Hudson Strait, Quebec, Canada |

File Description:
Quaqtaq is a small village of 310 or so inhabitants at N 61 W 69 37 on the Hudson Strait at the northwest corner of Ungava Bay. It's name has some connection with "tapeworm" in Inuit; there is a story but I won't recount it here. The village does not feature in FS9 but is included in this scenery with approximately the right shape. No village buildings were specifically modeled; they are hand-made non-specific village houses typical of the north. The airfield runway is 3,520 feet of gravel 100 feet wide and is at 103 feet above the shoreline. I added the roads, a new airfield background, plus of course there is the scenery file and the AFCAD and AI, which is an Air Inuit Dash 8-300. This is the last of a series in northern Quebec that all have similar terminal buildings; I know of others which have the same type of building but I have no photos to discover the differences.

| Whale Cove CYXN in Hudson Bay, Nunavut, Canada |

File Description:
Whale Cove is a small village with 300 or so inhabitants at N62 W92 on the west shore of Hudson Bay, 40 miles south of the large airport at Rankin Inlet. The village does not feature in FS9, so the first thing to do was to add it; not all the smaller streets are in place but it is the right shape.
I also had to add the roads, delete the stock airfield background, and add a new background. Plus, although the village isn't near the airfield I thought that if the place is called Whale Cove then the least I could do was create the cove, so there is also "whaleWATER" and "whalecoastDELETE", plus of course the scenery file and the AFCAD and AI.
NOTE: If you have had a problem with textures not showing up in the villages in these northern sceneries there is a note on how to fix it.
