VC-25A (Air Force One) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The VC-25A is a modified Boeing 747-200F used as a dignitary transport by the Air Mobility Command's 89th Airlift Wing, Andrews Air Force Base (KADF), Maryland. There are two twin sister aircraft with tail numbers 28000 and 29000. Both are used by the President of the United States (POTUS) and the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) and as a dignitary transport for high level personnel for special missions. When carrying the President, the call-sign is “Air Force One”, but otherwise uses a variety of call-signs when the President is not on-board. Each sister aircraft is nearly identical to the other, with all of the same accommodations. One can fly as a “Mask” when the President is on-board the other. The aircraft is modified with many secret aspects, and is heavier at Empty Weight than a normal 747-200F because of this. However, she normally only carries 102 souls on board with enough supplies to last for any long range flight, so she operates at a lower weight than the normal 747-200F. Due to the fortifications employed within the design, her MTOW is lower, as well. The engines are a bit more powerful than normal, and have better fuel efficiency. She has specialized equipment on-board for communications, a weather/recon radar dome (not shown in this paint scheme), and missile/aircraft countermeasures if needed. The interior is almost silent due to the high pressure cabin structure and fortified frame, including bullet-proof windows. With all of the above, she is still the most powerful, efficient, and the fastest 747 ever built. Original Model Designers (FS2004): C. Vincent Cho, Yosuke Ube, Nick Peterson, Warren C. Daniel, Simon Ng, Hin Tat, BIll Kovatchev. Sound: Emil Serafino. Panel: Philippe Wallaert. Real World Aero/Engine Dynamics and Modifications by Douglas E. Trapp ([email protected]), June 2018.

Naknek (5NK) and Naknek South (WSN) - Alaska, USA Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Naknek and Naknek South are two towns close to the mouth of the Naknek River and on opposite banks. King Salmon is approximately 15 miles to the east. The canneries on both banks of the river are the reason for the existence of both towns and airfields, with fishing for salmon being the primary industry of the area. This takes place from the beach by individuals, by small boats in the river and the immediate sea area, and offshore by larger craft. There is a picture of one boat unloading in Naknek which will be known to anyone who has watched the most famous television fishing programme of all, Deadliest Catch. Cornelia Marie is better known for the crab fishing based in Dutch Harbor, but this area too is just as productive though without the drama. Naknek 5NK has two gravel runways and a float runway in the adjoining lake; all three are just under 2,000 feet long. Naknek South WSN has two gravel runways, 12-30 being 3,300 feet long and 04-22 2,260 feet. As the road connecting to King Salmon is on the north bank it is probable that more seasonal workers are brought into the southern canneries by air, hence the longer runway (and with PAPI on 12). Grant Aviation run scheduled flights into both and there are numerous seasonal charter flights. The AI is a further modification of that posted with King Salmon PAKN and includes these flights, and presumes that you have already downloaded PAKN.

Douglas C-47 (VH-AGU) Adastra Aerial Surveys Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47 VH-AGU of Adastra Aerial Surveys. It was originally constructed for the USAAF in 1944 as a C-47B-35-DK and allocated the military serial 44-76336. In February 1945 it was acquired by the RAAF and allocated the serial A65-72. Operated until 1959, it was then sold to Adastra Airways and converted for civil use. In October 1964 the aircraft was re-registered to Sepal Pty Ltd, but in October 1969 it was acquired by Adastra Aerial Surveys Pty Ltd. Adastra Aerial Surveys was acquired by East-West Airlines Ltd in April 1973 and VH-AGU was re-registered to East-West Airlines on 12 November 1974. East-West won the MLS trials support contract in December 1974 and VH-AGU was re-painted in East-West colours at Tamworth in the month prior to positioning at Melbourne/Essendon for the commencement of the contract on 25 January 1975. At some stage in the late 1970s the aircraft was transferred to South Coast Aviation, another East-West subsidiary. The aircraft was withdrawn from service in August 1979 at Essendon at the conclusion of its Departmental charter, and sold to Aerodyne Pty Ltd of Moorabbin. Since then, it has had several owners, and is still airworthy, flying in a USAF Vietnam war scheme from Morwell, Victoria. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

LYBE Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport Download

File Description:
Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport (IATA: BEG, ICAO: LYBE) is the primary international airport serving Belgrade, Serbia. Previously known as Belgrade International Airport, it was renamed in 2006 in honour of Serbian-American scientist and inventor Nikola Tesla. The airport is situated 12 km (7.5 mi) west, of central Belgrade, in the Surcin Municipality, surrounded by Syrmia's fertile lowlands. Passengers on the right hand side of planes descending from the east have a view of downtown Belgrade, especially the districts of Cukarica and Novi Beograd. In 2008 the airport installed ILS CAT IIIb equipment to allow aircraft to land and depart in the heaviest of fog, which in past years led to numerous flight diversions mostly in late December and early January. The airport is owned and operated by the Public enterprise Aerodrom Nikola Tesla Beograd. The company recorded profit of 21.5 million euros at the end of 2010. The national flag carrier and largest airline of Serbia, Jat Airways, uses Belgrade Nikola Tesla as their main hub. It is also one of the hubs for low cost airline Wizz Air. Aviogenex charter airline, and air taxi airlines Air Pink, Jat Airways AVIO taxi, Prince Aviation and Pelikan Airways also call the airport their home. The airport charts are included. This file has the right coordenates, with the apron and characteristics of the airport, airport vehicules and buildings, please take note the the gates numbers needed to changed: C1A= C11, C3A=C13, C5A=C15; general aviation parking were added a extra number due to repetion on the numbers.

FSX/P3D Aloha Airlines DC-3 circa 1958 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Aloha Airlines colors. The freeware DC-3/C-47 v3 by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Aloha was founded in 1946 under the name of Trans Pacific Airways. With a single DC-3, they offered passenger charter and cargo services between the islands of Oahu, Maui and Hawaii. On February 11 1949 they officially became a scheduled service airline. Their main rival was Hawaiian Airlines, and in 1957 they changed their name to Aloha Airline to better compete against Hawaiian. In 1959 a modern F-27 joined the fleet, which forced the retirement of Aloha's aging DC-3 fleet by the mid 1960s. They also introduced the Viscount 745D in June 1961. BAC-111s were acquired in 1966. However, the British made airliners had limitations in the very humid environment of Hawaii, and in 1967 Aloha ordered 2 Boeing 737-200s with a further 6 in 1968 to replace the BAC-111s. The 737s were destined to become the workhorse of the airline, with over 60 being used by Aloha over the years. Their iconic "Flower Power" livery was unveiled in 1969, and was reintroduced in 2006 on one of their 737 as a retro livery. Due to heavy financial problems caused by various factors, Aloha unfortunately ceased operations on March 31 2008. This DC-3, N2804D, was leased by Aloha in the late 1950s. Textures are DDS DXT5. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE and should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

C-17 Globemaster III/ER Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The C-17 Globemaster III/ER is a heavy cargo aircraft used by several foreign militaries, but primarily the U.S. Air Force. She is designed to do many things that other cargo aircraft cannot, based on her unique design. This version incorporates the extended range fuel tanks. The real world aircraft can actually use reverse thrust in flight, up to 100% reverse power, during descents or on the ground. It is also the only heavy aircraft in the world with a wing efficiency factor over 1.0, which is theoretically impossible, but true. All of the dynamics in this model are correct down to the inch, so she does almost everything the real aircraft does. Some things are not possible in FSX, including reverse thrust while in flight, but full flaps/slats employed in a steep descent will adequately simulate this effect without damage to the model while in flight. The landing gear are authentic and capable of heavy loads. The weight and balance is authentic. The fuel tanks are authentic. The aircraft name, tail number, location, and callsign are authentic. The calculated range(s) listed are all authentic, understanding that most public data released is based on average range, at average altitude, and normal payload missions. The sound is authentic. The engine dynamics are authentic. The panel used is the best I could find, is fairly authentic, and requires some pre-flight study before flight. All-in-All the aircraft is very simple to fly, but requires some study to operate correctly, so I recommend all simmers watch as many "You Tube" videos, read as many authentic sites, and study as much as possible about this aircraft before operation. Model by: Bob Chicilo, Sound by: Devyn Silverstein, Panel by: Phillip Wallaert, Auto Smoke Effects by Richard Wisman/Douglas E. Trapp, Real World Aero/Engine Dynamics and modifications by: Douglas E. It cannot be sold or bundled for sale, and such will never be approved by me or the original authors. FREEWARE DISTRIBUTION ONLY!!! Douglas E. Trapp, [email protected], July 2018

B-52J Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Since it became operational in 1955, the B-52 has been the main long-range heavy bomber of the U.S. Air Force. It first flew on Apr. 15, 1952. Nearly 750 B-52s were built when production ended in Oct. 1963. This "J" model is the future re-engined "h" model 60-0042 of the 917th Wing AFRC based at Barksdale AFB (KBAD). She flies higher, further, and faster than any previous version. The aircraft can cruise at 380 KIAS at 500 ft agl over about 5,000 nm which makes her capable of reaching targets within enemy airspace anywhere on the globe without being detected by radar until it's too late. Her normal high altitude cruise speed has been increased to Mach .88 above FL550E over 9,000 nm without refueling, and her service ceiling has increased to FL570E. The 50,000 lb payload is still nominal, but due to the lighter engines she now has more accomidations for the crew, and does not require refueling very often. She can range much further with less speed (i.e., Mach .85), but there is normally no need for that. This aircraft is designed to fly like the real thing. It is likely one of the best B-52 models available at this time. I have test-flown this aircraft around the globe several times to reassure myself that all is well. You will not have a bouncing effect occur when cruising with 16x speed acceleration and autopilot engaged because all aerodynamics and balance are perfected to a very low margin of error, or no error margin at all. Please be sure to read the INSTRUCT.TXT file for extended details. Original aircraft designer: Mike Stone; Textures by Bill Baldwin; Panel and gauges by Philippe Wallaert; Auto Smoke Effects by Richard Wisman; BR-725 Sound by Ronald Buffalo; Real World aero/engine dynamics, data, lights and effects by: Douglas E. Trapp, FS Flight Dynamics Engineer, Irving, Texas, [email protected], October 2018. AN-22 Antheus Mastered Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
THIS IS MY FINAL AN-22 VERSION: Unveiled to the West in 1965, the Antonov An-22 was the world's largest aircraft, until the advent of the Lockheed C-5A Galaxy. Powered by 4 contra-rotating turboprops, the design remains the world's largest turboprop-powered airplane. The An-22 was originally built for the Soviet Air Force and Aeroflot, the state airline. A total of 68 aircraft were built during 1965-1975, from which 2 never flew, 19 have been preserved, and 33 removed from service. Currently only 7 are in service. Six of them are used by the Russian Air Force and one (UR-09307) belongs to Antonov Design Bureau, used for civil needs, and operates out of UKKM. The AN-22 is designed to carry heavy loads of 80 tonnes over a 3,000 nm range at high speed and moderate altitude. The civilian model is used for long and medium range flights with updated avionics and flight controls. The wing has a forward and rear sweep effect with a low taper ratio and moderate wing area for it's size. The tail includes twin vertical fins that help maintain stability. The engines are constant speed turboprops that include 2 four bladed contra-rotating props with auto-pitch, and this gives her a thrust rating of 15,211 shp and a fuel efficiency of .353 lb/hp/hr. The cargo area is 14 ft high and wide, and 108 ft long. All fuel is contained within the wings and in the upper fuselage (7 tanks). She has 12 wheels that carry most of the weight, and two steering wheels located behind the crew cabin. Cargo is loaded through the rear loading ramp. The cockpit is located high, as well as the crew quarters. Additional passengers (when present) are seated below the cockpit forward. Original Design and Textures by: Enrique Del Rosario; Sound by: Aaron R. Swindle; Panel by: Marco Spada; Auto Smoke Effects by Richard Wisman; Engine/Aero Dynamics, effects and data by: Douglas E. Trapp. Please Read the Readme AN22.txt file before operations.

Honolulu International Airport, Honolulu, Oahu, Hawaii (PHNL) with Active Crosswind Runways V2 Download

File Description:
A high quality AFCAD2 for Honolulu Int'l Airport (PHNL). Only for use with the freeware scenery by Bill Melichar (honov5.zip). The file is built from scratch using the latest FAA charts, various photographs and information from the airport website, in order to be as near real as possible. All taxiways are named as per real life and runway lengths are 100% accurate. All Airline gates are named as per real life and have the correct airlines assigned to them. Using the crosswind runway technique, all runways are now active for use at the same time. The Air Freight Terminal, to the west of the airport is also featured, with parking assignments for the cargo carriers that use it. Hickham AFB parking is included, consisting of a Military Combat area, Military Cargo area and airline gates for troop charter flights. Maintenance parking for Air Pacific, Aloha Airlines and Hawaiian airlines jets can be found on the south ramp area. An extensive GA area can also be found on the south ramp, and can accomodate any privately owned aircraft ranging from Cessna to Boeing 747. It is recommended (but not necessary) that you also download the freeware "Hickam AFB" scenery by Derek and Brendan Webb (dbwsimhickam04.zip) as it greatly enhances the appearance of the Air Force Base. This file has been extensively tested and all AI flows as it should. New in this release are updated gate assignments for new airlines that recently started to serve Honlulu, plus updated parking for new cargo carriers. Previous version of this file had over 2000 downloads. Enjoy!!
