File Description:
This is a repaint of the Cessna C-172 in Ethiopian Airlines colors. The payware Cessna C-172 by A2A is needed for this repaint. Ethiopian Airlines has Africa's largest aviation academy. Although the focus is on pilot training, they also have courses for ground staff, maintenance technicians, cabin crew, and leadership roles. Currently they are training about 1,300 students, who come from all over Africa. As for the pilot training, they use the Cessna C-172s. This is a repaint of one of the Cessnas in their training fleet. Textures are DXT5 dds. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

| Piper Comanche PA-24 (N6661P) |
|
File Description:
This is a tribute to my dad's Comanche, bought brand-new in 1960. Over the next 40 years, he flew it all over the U.S., to Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and South America. He had to quit flying a few years before his death in 1999, and sold his share to his partner, who later handed the plane to his son. The plane performed yeoman service until October 2012, when the son experienced structural icing and ended up crash-landing the plane in a field. The pilot was fine; the plane was a total loss.
Textures only for the A2A Piper Comanche.

File Description:
Repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III Spitfire by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney. N3246 first flew on on 18 december 1939 and served with 266 and 222 Sqn's RAF, before being damaged in march 1941. After repairs, she was assigned to 457 Sqn RAAF in july 1941, where she flew until 1943, when she was assigned to the RNAS for conversion to Seafire. She went over the side of HMS Argus on 20 february 1944 when the tailhook broke. This paint shows what she more or less looked like while serving with 457 Sqn RAAF in september 1941, on the Isle of Man.

A repaint for the A2A Wings Of Power 3 Spitfire Mk IIb as one of the Spitfires flown by George Beurling while Stationed at Malta. Beurling was recognised as "Canada's most famous hero of Second World War", as "The Falcon of Malta" and the "Knight of Malta", having shot down 27 Axis aircraft in just 14 days over the besieged Mediterranean island. Before the war ended his total climbed to either 31 or 31+. Beurling's wartime service was terminated prior to the war's end. In an attempt to continue combat flying in the postwar era, Beurling lost his life in a crash while delivering an aircraft to Israel.

File Description:
This is a repaint for the payware FSX/P3D A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the SNJ-5 BuNo.91066 which survives today in storage pending restoration with Tri-State Aviation in Wahpeton, North Dakota. The aircraft is depicted in original, authentic 1950-1951 era markings as it would have had while stationed at NAS Pensacola during that period. Includes modified VC textures to reflect authentic details of an original in-service SNJ.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of North American T-6G F-BJBF, 1970. Originally built as 41-33931 (c/n 88-14948), it went to the RAF as EX959. It was used by the 20 Service Flying Training School in Rhodesia from January 1943 onwards. After the war, it was transported back to the UK, where it was sold to the Belgian Air Force, where it became H-9. It flew from Brustem until 1959. The Belgian Air Force then sold it to Air France, with 14 other Harvards, for use at its flight school in Pontoise Cormeilles en Vexin, west of Paris. It flew with Air France until 1965, when it was sold to Mr Urbain of Cannes, who flew it in bare metal with a checkered rudder until 1971. This is the paintscheme depicted here. It then went to the UK, becoming G-AZJD. It remained based at Biggin Hill until 1984, when it went back to France as F-AZDU, being bought by Guy Robert, a former Mirage pilot who recieved his training in the '50's on a Harvard in Marocco. In 2001 it was sold to John Colors SL in Barcelona, but it retained its French registration of F-AZDU. It is still airworthy, based at Sabadell in Spain. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

| Funny Farm (4CA2) Brentwood, California Scenery |
|
File Description:
This is a scenery upgrade for Funny Farm Airport, Brentwood, California (4CA2) (Why Funny Farm?) This is part Nine of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth. The scenery mainly reflects the appearance of the airpark from directly above, so if you are familiar with the place then on the ground it probably looks quite different, due to the limited number of buildings available. This scenery includes the Private lake and dwellings to the southwest of the airstrip proper plus extensive landclass alterations to make the small paddocks in the same area. This is a tough place to land neatly in anything past a C172 in calm weather; the runway is only 20 feet wide! Built using EZ_Scenery, Lee Swordy's AFCAD and SBuilder. You must have rwy12 and EZ scenery libraries installed for the buildings to show. Both libraries of objects are free: EZ Library is available from http://www.abacuspub.com/pub/AbacusEZLibraries.exe and rwy12 and additional EZ Custom libraries from Avsim.
