Elevation Fix For Addon KBUR KDCA KSNA Airport Scenery

File Description:
This file includes three small BGL files designed to be used with one or more of the following addon airport scenery files developed by Shehryar 'Shez' Ansari: BUR2005.zip for KBUR Burbank / Bob Hope; dca2002.zip for KDCA Reagan National / Washington DC; and SNA2004.zip for KSNA John Wayne / Santa Ana. These BGL files set the FS9 airport elevations allowing AFCAD files to work properly with this scenery. More info on how and why in the included readme.

Fix for Miscellaneous Objects for EZ-Scenery Vol. 5

File Description:
Eliminates the "smeared" look of the sidewalk at the motel. Sorry I didn't catch this. Replace the .bgl and .txt files that were in the original folder with the ones included in this folder.

Nam Phong Royal Thai Air Force Base (Scenery Upgrade)

File Description:
A model of Nam Phong RTAFB as it appeared in mid-1972 when much of it was still under construction. Nam Phong was originally an obscure Thai Air Force training facility located about 60 miles south-southeast of the large USAF/Air America base at Udorn. In response to increasing NVA attacks in the Central Highlands of South Vietnam, the US Marine Corps transferred three fighter/attack squadrons (known as "Task Force Delta")from Da Nang to Nam Phong. A new 10,000 ft. concrete runway was built, and roads, aircraft parking and housing/storage areas were hacked out of the jungle by a joint USN/USMC engineering team. Nam Phong was nicknamed "The Rose Garden" in jest due to the extremely primitive conditions that existed there when the Marines first arrived. The nickname was borrowed from the Marine Corps advertising slogan, "We don't promise you a rose garden", which in turn was inspired by the lyrics of a popular country & western song by Lynn Anderson. The three USMC fighter/attack squadrons that took up permanent residence at Nam Phong were the VMFA-115 "Silver Eagles", the VMFA-232 "Red Devils", and the VMA(AW)-533 "Nighthawks." This enhanced model supercedes the Nam Phong scenery that was uploaded three years ago. It should be compatible with FS 2004. Requires the trees_v3.zip object library by Gerrish Gray.

Santa Monica (SMO) High Resolution Airport Area Ground Scenery

File Description:
This package contains high resolution ground scenery for the traffic pattern area of Santa Monica (SMO). Normal flight simulator scenery has a resolution of approximately 4.7 meters/pixel. That's OK at higher altitudes but leads to very blurry ground textures when flying low - e.g. in the traffic pattern. My high resolution airport area sceneries have a resolution 1.2 meters/pixel. This results in much more detail and a more realistic experience of "being there". Navigation Scenery Update - KCLE and KDTW Cleveland and Detroit

File Description:
Several of the KCLE and KDTW airport procedures (SIDs and STARs) were changed as of 08 June 2006. There are also new procedures in place that contain fixes that are not included in the default Flight Simulator scenery. This BGL scenery contains all necessary navigation data to add to Flight Simulator for these new waypoint fixes, so that you can navigate with FMS or GPS any of the new KCLE and KDTW SIDs or STARs. This is fully compatible with FS9 (FS2004), although it may or may not be compatible with FS2002.

Whale Island Scenery: "Islands of the Bay of Plenty"

File Description:
This scenery was created from a digital Orthorectified aerial mosaic owned by Environment Bay of Plenty (The Bay of Plenty Regional Council). The imagery has been de-sampled for use in Flight Simulator X and utilizes the default terrain mesh. The textures are intended for summer daylight flying only, although due to the sparse nature of White Islands' Evegetation, the Islands appearance remains relatively consistent throughout the year. It includes autogen trees, a landable helicopter pad on the top of the Island, Radio masts, and the Department of Conservation (DOC) hut in the south western bay of the island.
