File Description:
This update package presumes the presence of version 1.1 of the Starliner.
What does this update do?
- New aircraft.cfg and L1649A.air for improved flight dynamics, especially takeoff and landing.
- New panel files for modified gauges and basic VC layout.
- Three VC texture files
- New model file
Installation
(1) Make a backup copy of your existing "Flight Simulator 9\Lockheed_1649A" folder.
(2) Extract the version 1.1a Update files to a separate temporary folder.
(3) Copy the files to the required locations, overwriting or adding to the originals. The folder VNConnie1649A has all the necessary files so you should delete the current VNConnie1649A folder first.
(4) If applicable, edit aircraft.cfg and/or panel.cfg to reflect any changes you made in the meantime.

FS2004/FSX Green Panel Conversion. This package converts the gray Cal Classic DC-7/7B/7C panel by Ken Mitchell and Tom Gibson into a dark green version. This panel REQUIRES the original DC-7 panel, available by downloading and installing the United DC-7 at: http://www.calclassic.com/dc7.htm When the Historical Flight Foundation asked Cal Classic (www.calclassic.com) to create an FS version of their newly restored Eastern Douglas DC-7B N836D, Eric repainted his existing EAL DC-7B into an exact replica of their plane (available here as eal_dc7b_n836d_final.zip). But one thing that wasn't done originally was to replicate the dark green cockpit of the plane. This package has been created to do that. Quite a few other DC-7's, DC-7B's, and DC-7C's had dark green panels as well.

Prepar3D Scenery--Memphis International Airport (KMEM), Tennessee (TN), USA. This is Ray Smith's fsx_kmem_rs.zip file. Ray has given permission to adapt his file for Prepar3Dv2. There are two optional files one version with crosswind runway activated where all four runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default runway operation. The main FedEx ramp and buildings completely replaced, the terminal now updated as per phase 1 and phase 2 upgrades, assigned parking as per their website with extra parking including over 125 FedEx parking spots, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts including waypoint BLEWS renamed MCVEY, extra fuel trucks, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other scenery improvements, airport views are from inside the control tower (when in tower view). Version 3.0 has an additional Pushback Truck Switch Panel that makes it possible to choose between English and Russian groundcrew to use both in one flight. You can still use a standalone panel either English or Russian like in versions v1.0 and v2.0. Includes Brake Sound FX. Supports FS9, FSX, and all versions of P3D including v4.0 and later.
