| Aeroflot Russian Airlines Fleet Pack 6 |

Aeroflot began in March 1923 as Dobrolet with a mixed fleet of De Havilland, Vickers, Junkers and other aircraft. Dobrolet merged into Dobroflot in 1929 and flew all services within Russia. By 1932 the airline was called Aeroflot. After the second world war international sevices began. At one stage Aeroflot had a massive fleet of over 7,500 aircraft although this fleet was pretty much ALL the civilian aircraft in the former Soviet Union. Aeroflot began the world's first sustained jet airline service using Tupolev Tu-104 'Camel' jets (developed from the Tu-16 'Badger' bomber) on an extensive internal route network from the summer of 1955. The Tu-104 saw service until the mid-1970s. After the breakup of the Soviet Union Aeroflot broke up into lots of smaller carriers and became known as Aerflot - Russian International Airlines. Aeroflot began using leased Boeing 767s and 737-400s alongside the older soviet types and with a revised livery. The Russian flag replaced the Red Flag. The sixth (final) release contains the Aeroflot ANTK Tupolev TU-214, Boeing B737-400, McDonnell Douglas DC-10 (Cargo), and Yakolev YAK-40 aircraft. Contents of the packs include only textures. Aircraft models are by PAI, FSP, SAM, and AIA and can be obtained at the associated sites. These packages support MRAI fightplans for WI04. Repaints are by Frank Bass.

| C-46 Curtiss Commando - With Buffalo Air type VC and Failure Model |

FS2004 Curtiss C46 VC And Failure Model, v2. For the C46 Curtiss Commando aircraft by Libardo Guzman Garcia, Greg Pepper, and Tom Gibson (GAC46V2.ZIP). This is my Version 2 and it supersedes my previous uploads (c46bflvc.zip, c46bflfix.zip, c46bfl_up.zip). It adds a virtual cockpit similar to the Buffalo Airways C46 cockpit as well as pilot induced and random failures/damages through gauges originally developed by Charles Owens for the DC3C (most failures) and by Robert Graf (carburetor icing and oil consumption) for the DC-6. These gentlemen together with Gunter Tesons RealEngine_v14 have really made flying piston aircraft a lot more interesting. The frequency of random failures can be adjusted between "never" and "certain" but you always have to watch the engine limitations, carburetor icing, and oil consumption.
Further gauges by other authors are used or have been modified or have been developed by me. Version 2 increases the number of failures (engine, fire, leaks, systems, equipment, instruments), and introduces an improved upper overhead panel, an abbreviated interactive checklist on the panel, and reduced braking in rain, snow and freezing rain. Version 1 is not required for Version 2. See the C46BFL ReadMe V2.txt for further details and credits. Some of the Extra additions that are used with the new 2.0 version are: Runway12 3 Part Library, the Abacus Scenery Creator default libraries, Lago FSE, AI Schweizer 300C Helicopter, Gerrish Grey Tree Library Version 3. The direct links to these downloads are provided to you to download to display the scenery in its entirety. Not all of the above mentioned are required, like Lago, as it is a payware addition. All others mentioned are freely distributed at various download sites.
Please unzip (using folders option) to a temporary location and follow the installation instructions very carefully. Do not attempt to install this scenery with a "scenery manager" - for proper installation please use the built in installation routine.
