The ARX-6 is a single-place Formula One pylon racing aircraft and is built to the specs of the International Formula 1 Air Racing association. Like all Formula One race planes, it is built around the Continental O-200. This is the same 100hp engine that barely powers a Cessna 150 to 100kts but on the small extremely lightweight and aerodynamic airframes of formula one racers the top aircraft can push 300mph. With very few instruments, and less than average ground handling, Formula One aircraft are very clean "no frills" machines that serve only one purpose - flying low, flying fast, and turning left. This all-new package created specifically for FSX includes 14 different schemes, custom sounds and panel. Aircraft and panel by Jason L. Terry. Sounds by Joseph Thompson. File Description:
FSX F/A-18 Combat Version. This is the Acceleration F/A-18 Hornet equipped with 20mm M61 cannon and a fully functional air-to-air gun mode found in the real F/A-18. With the two radar modes, the two gun sights and the flying tracers, the virtual dogfight will be very similar to a real one. You will not be able to shoot down other aircraft, but you will receive an immediate indication on your HUD if a bullet hit the bandit. The flight model is unchanged from the Acceleration F/A-18 except for allowing manually controlled flaps and reducing the arresting wire tension for smoother carrier landings. The HUD is an upgrade of the Realistic F/A-18 HUD by Jivko Rusev and Scott Printz, which allows ILS and TACAN navigation for aircraft carriers. You will also get a couple of additional gauges - an In-Flight Refueling Gauge, PLAT Camera and a Carrier Landing Gauge. By Jivko Rusev.

File Description:
This is the final version of my Outer Terrain textures. This version contains a complete set of 26 textures (25 land, 1 water) and includes water transition tiles for 13 of the 25 land textures. Adding water transitions for the other land textures would take forever so I picked 13 of the most likely and obvious candidates and ignored the remainder. The total number of base, variation and textures tiles is now 1131!
The zip file contains:
(1) A new GENTILES.TAG file. (2) The 26 base textures as TarGA image files. (3) A copy of the RULES.TXT file originally provided with the last beta release. (4) A tile transition spreadsheet (Excel and OpenOffice formats)

Here is a tutorial for beginners who want to connect to VATSIM, but dont know how to. This is my updated HTML version taken from my MS Word file (on avsim: cnctvatsim.zip). Special notice inside for all VAs etc who wish to re-distribute it for pilots. Images included for easy-to-understand steps. Now included are links to the software, and a few minor mistakes have been corrected. You have to extract the HTML file and folder to a temporary location for it to work (for Images to appear). Good luck!

Thank you for downloading this scenery. This is an extensive upgrade to the default Tijuana Abelardo L. RodriÂguez International airport. There are more accurate terminals, more GA parking, and the huge hangar which is visible from Otay Mesa has also been added. The autogen buildings and trees have been excluded from the north side of the airport to mare accurately represent the area around Brown Field. It is not perfectly
correct or photoreal, but it is a good basic representation.
Update from v1:
The terminal buildings from v1 have been replaced with much more frame rate friendly versions. Frames now hover much closer to my max frame limit. There are some tweaks to the AFCAD to stop arriving AI from jamming up at the east end of the runway.

Complete rebuild of my KEYW airport to make it compatible with FREEFlow Florida scenery. The installation on sims with non-FREEFlow scenery will not work very well because there are a lot of differences. You should upgrade to the FREEFlow scenery, the scenery is excellent and upgrades will only make it almost 100% realistic.

Version4.2 is the final version of this large airport, and
incorporates files CYVR4.zip; CYVR41.zip; CYVR4fix.zip;
CYVR4com.zip; CYVRup42.zip. Runways coincide with
the default to allow VATSIM fliers to use scenery. Most
buildings are portrayed in essentially correct layout.
(CYVR3.1 for FS2002 won FlightSim Developer’s Award
in March 2003, and had over 11,000 downloads).
