BFU Widgeon Replacement Texture

File Description:
OOOOPS! I just noticed this following morning the typographical error in the spelling of "Unlimited." This replacement texture will take care of that. Just replace file widgeon4.bmp in your Grumman Widgeon texture.bfu folder with this one. Sorry about that. There's what happens when you hurry and try to get something out when you're tired. Cheers! File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman G44 Widgeon by Flysimware. It shows Grumman G-44A Widgeon #1362, originally J4F-2 #37732. It first flew as N9236H with Western newspapers United, before going to Amphibian Airways of new Zealand, becoming ZK-BAY. It was mainly used for flights from Invercargill to Stewart Island. It was taken over by Tourist Air Travel in Auckland in 1961, and continued with Mount Cook Airlines in 1968, before crashing and sinking in Auckland Harbor in 1970. Repaint by JanKees Blom, bassed on the paintkit by Flysimware.

GRumman G44A Widgeon SE-APO

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Grumman G44A Widgeon by Flysimware. It shows Grumman G-44A Widgeon #1367 SE-APO of Dagens Nyheter. It was originally J4F-2 BuNo #37737 with the US Navy. It was bought in 1946 by the newspaper Dagens Hyeter in Sweden, to be used aa a plane to take reporters on assignments. It was sold to Finland in 1956, where it crashed in June 1968 at Helsinki-Malhi, Finland. Repaint by JanKees Blom, based on the paintkit by Flysimware. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

File Description:
This sound package has been created with the four radial engined aircraft in mind and is ideally suited for the B-17, DC-4, DC-6, Constellation, etc. The startups have been modified from the default DC-3 so that each one has a different timing, thus sounding different and making each engine individual. On full throttle, you can hear the propellors "Biting" the air!! If you like your aircraft loud, then this file is just that. Designed using various sound effects of a B-17.
