RAF Honeybourne was a Royal Air Force station located 0.6 miles (0.97 km) south of Honeybourne, Worcestershire, England and 4.6 miles (7.4 km) east of Evesham, Worcestershire, England.
The airfield was home to No. 24 Operational Training Unit RAF (OTU) which used Vickers Wellingtons and Armstrong Whitworth Whitleys from 15 March 1942 until July 1945 flying many operational bombing and leaflet dropping operations.
A number of units from Ferry Command were based here including a ferry training unit using Lockheed Hudsons and Bristol Beauforts.
The airfield was also temporarily home to No. 21 OTU flying Wellingtons from RAF Enstone from August 1945 for two months because the runways at their home base were being repaired. From October 1945 until 1946 107 Sub Storage Unit from No. 8 Maintenance Unit used the airfield for storing Wellingtons and General Aircraft Hamilcar gliders.
The role of the airfield after the war changed with the reduction of flying movements and with a slight change in what the units did on the airfield when No. 107 Sub Storage Unit from 1947 began to collect no longer needed Wellingtons which were then scrapped and taken to Weston Subedge goods yard (which was near to the south-western corner) where the railway would take them to the necessary destination.
In July 1948 the site was closed and much has reverted to farmland with runways being removed in 1968. Since then, the airside area has evolved into the Honeybourne Airfield Trading Estate with the five hangars being used for different purposes.

| White 14 - Ed Russell Collection BF-109E-4 |

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the payware WWII Fighters BF-109. Originally built as a BF-109E-1, but upgraded to an E-4, the aircraft was flown on several occasions by legendary ace Hans-Joachim Marseille during the Battle of Britain, and is known to have shot down a Spitfire over the Thames Estuary. After recieving damage from a forced landing at Calais-Marck, the aircraft was repaired and saw service on the Eastern front (Russia) where it was abandoned. In the 1990's it was recovered from the Russian swamp and was transferred to the UK and restored by Craig Charleston for David Price - Santa Monica Museum of Flight. After being recieved in California in 1999, the aircraft only saw about 50 hours of flying time before being purchased by Ed Russell of Canada where it resides today. Based at Niagra South Field, the aircraft can be seen routinely throughout the summer performing at select airshow events, and is the only currently flyable 109E left in the world. Thanks to ICDP for his excellent paintkit that was used to make this texture. If it wasn't for it, this repaint may not have been.

My version of the Captain Sim 757 Astraeus/Iron Maiden "ED FORCE ONE" livery is based on the Iron Maiden 2009 world tour paint scheme. I've tried to made the plane as accurate as possible based on various photos found on the internet. The text isn't 100% accurate, but overall I feel it's a very good likeness. I modified the back half of the plane to represent the cargo section of the plane and also modified the night textures to match. Since the paint kit doesn't actually represent the -23A model, I've done my best to give the plane the visual feel of a -23A model.. with that said, the doors located just behind the wings were drawn by hand and are NOT animated. As a bonus I've included a couple extras to make the Captain Sim 757 experience even better. First, I've included the "intelliscene.cfg" file used with the payware utility "AES - Airport-Enhancement-Services" and second I've included the text to add the "ASA 3D Lights" Addon to the external lighting. Both Payware utilities and the payware Captain Sim 757 are required.

F-2A is a Japanese fighter aircraft and it has been developed with the United States based on the General Dynamics (post 1993, Lockheed Martin) F-16 Fighting Falcon. Its blue oceanic flight livery is referred to as "The most beautiful camouflage livery of the world". Its three divited canopy and big-wide wing is the most different part between the F-2 and F-16. This model is only for FS9, you can't use it with FSX. By Team FS KBT.
The Mitsubishi F-2 Fighter is manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and Lockheed Martin for the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, with a 60/40 split in manufacturing between Japan and the USA.
Some differences between the F-2 and the F-16A:
* a 25% larger wing area
* composite materials used to reduce overall weight and radar signature
* longer and wider nose to accommodate a phased-array radar
* larger tailplane
* larger air intake
* three-piece cockpit canopy
* capabilities for four ASM-1 or ASM-2 anti-ship missiles, four AAMs, and additional fuel tanks

I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this iconic aircraft of modern military history. With over 15,000 airframes of all types, including license-manufacture, the MiG-21 is the second-highest produced jet fighter of all time (next to the MiG-15 at 18,000+); and is the highest-produced jet fighter in the post-1960 'missile' age.
The model is an 8-LOD model, with quite a bit of XML animation and effects. This aircraft has been used operationally by 53 countries across fifty years, with extensive combat experience world-wide, and hundreds are still in service to this day.
Part 2 is the P-series, the 2nd-generation Fishbeds. Included variants are the MiG-21PF, MiG-21FL (covers HAL-built variants), MiG-21PFM, and MiG-21PFMA (a Polish-specific early PFM). With loadout options, there are a total of 36 models and 36 paints in this package. Multiple credits are given in the documentation for everybody who pitched in to help on this one. Base model, paint kit, and textures by Michael Pearson.

With loadout options, there are a total of 52 models and 52 paints in this package. Multiple credits are given in the documentation for everybody who pitched in to help on this one. US Navy/US Marine Corps IAI F-21A Lion. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for the Israeli Aircraft Industries Kfir (Lion Cub). Going into operational production in 1975 as a new-build Israeli re-design of the venerable Mirage III/5 series, this aircraft, in late form, is still in service with several air forces to this day. An original 7-LOD model pays homage to this wonderful aircraft in the flightsim world. This aircraft, just like the real-deal, is a fair re-work of my original Mirage 5 model; with new wings, gear, fuselage, tail, and other goodies. This package includes the USN/USMC-operated F-21A Lion, used as an aggressor aircraft in the mid-80s; with 5 models and 25 repaints. A note, these are slightly modified models and will not be compatible with any previous Kfir paints from this project, but any previous Kfir C1 models will work with these repaints (sounds odd, but these models are slightly improved). Original aircraft model, flight dynamics, some effects, and textures by Michael Pearson; tremendous amounts of help from Michael MacIntyre and Frank Safranek.

North American F-100 Super Sabre (Part 5). This aircraft, also known as the Hun, was the first of a long success of Century Series fighter aircraft during the 1950s and 1960s. I present a comprehensive 8-LOD AI traffic model for this cold warrior of military jet history, utilizing original source material from Jake Burrus. Going into production in 1953, 2,294 aircraft served thirty-five years in the USAF and the air forces of France, Turkey, Denmark, and Taiwan. The F-100 was originally designed as a daytime air superiority fighter (with all-cannon armament); but evolved into a capable light attack aircraft which served extensively in Vietnam. An original 8-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the F-100A/C/D/F in the entirety of its export service with the Armee d' la Air, Royal Danish Air Force, Republic of China Air Force, and the Turk Hava Kuvvetleri; with 14 models and 112 repaints. The town of Barrow is in the far north of Alaska, and these are coastal villages or radar installations to the west, south, and now east of Barrow. There will be further additions. Nuiqsut is a mainly Inuit community on the west side of the Colville River, around 20 miles south of the coast, and with a slowly declining population of around 420 or so. The airfield is just south of the town and has a gravel runway 5,000 feet long and aligned 04-22 in FS9. The airfield is the only year-round contact route to the rest of the world, though there are plans for a permanent road. The AI includes daily passenger flights early and late in the day, cargo deliveries, and some GA. It seems that the only photos I had of the airport were either of the old building or were not of Nuiqsut at all. The only pic I have seen (recently, which is why I now have doubts) of the new building is insufficient to model it, so I am sticking with the old or maybe incorrect version.
