Orion Airways Boeing 737-2T4 'G-BKHO' Download

File Description:
Orion Airways repaint for the excellent tinmouse 737-200adv package. This repaint represents G-BKHO. Orion where a charter airline, somthing to do with intasun, and kicked off in the early 1980's before being swallowed up by Brittania in the late 80's early 90's. Excellent livery i think in gold, orange and chocolate brown! Much missed. I used a lot of photos found online, along with images of logos, sick bags, and anything i could get my virtual hands on, as this also seems quite a forgotten airline in the virtual world just like air europe - if not more so!...Painted with the excellent tinmouse paintkit - 32bit. Textures only! You must have the Tinmouse 737-200adv v2 base package available here at AVSIM

Wilgrove Airpark (8A6) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Wilgrove Airpark (8A6) is a small GA airport located just east of Charlotte, NC. It is often forgotten by pilots in Flightsimulator, yet it is a very busy place in the real-world, due to it's huge popularity with student and weekend GA pilots. There has never been a really good, accurate representation of this little gem created for the flightsim, so I decided to try my hand at it. This is my very first scenery project, and I hope you enjoy it. It was designed with ADE9X, and it requires RWY12 and EZ-Scenery objects extensively,(not included) so you will need to download these freeware scenery libraries prior to installation of this package for the Wilgrove Airpark scenery to display properly. - Glenn Mullis

RCMT Beigan Airport Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a depiction of the RCMT Beigan Airport in Matzu, Republic of China. This airport is one of two airports that serve the Matzu Islands. Opened in 1994, RCMT was severely limited by a short runway and mountain obstructions to small aircraft such as Dornier 228. A new and longer runway, constructed with significant earthmoving effort in 2001, allowed the operation of larger aircraft. Real-world AIP of this airport may be obtained from the ROC Civil Aeronautics Administration: http://eaip.caa.gov.tw/ Custom buildings converted from FS9 El Formosa Project were added. All buildings, runway, apron, parking, signs, and other features were positioned based on satellite image. Created by Kenny Chen, Rudolf Liu, and Mike Huang. FSX apron lights by Jim Dhaenens.

Storck Barracks Illesheim Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The third scenery designed by Brian Clarke, this is a representation of the first European base of the McDonnell Douglas AH-64A Apache. Illesheim Airfield was built by the Germans as a part of their illegal air force expansion during the 1930s, and was used extensively during world war 2 by the Luftwaffe.
The USAAF, and subsequently the US Army, have resided at the base since 1945, and the first Apaches of the 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry arrived in 1986. The Apache repaints represent the aircraft of 2-6 during 1990, but the base could be used in a modern environment as it is still in use. Also included are repaints for Nick Blacks AI AH-64 for use at the base.

KRND - Randolph AFB - Universal City, Texas Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
In August 1926 it was determined that the facilities at Kelly Field and Brooks Field in Texas (which had been erected for training purposes in World War I) were insufficient for proper training. During the design stage a 1st Lt Harold Clark designed a model four-quadrant airfield having a circular layout of facilities between parallel runways which allowed full-time operations without having to overfly the hangars and base buildings as at Kelly and Brooks. Named Randolph Field the base soon became the primary training facility for all Army Air Corp and then Air Force Pilots. Currently housing the 12th Flying Training Wing providing instructor pilot and refresher training in the T-6A Texan II, T-38C Talon and T-1A Jayhawk.

File Description:
Repaint of the B1900D Raytheon/Beechcraft ZK-EAG as operated real-world by Eagle Airways (a subsidiary of Air New Zealand) for the PMDG payware model in FS2004 or FSX. ZK-EAG is the latest aircraft in the airline fleet to get an all-black makeover and the first of three B1900Ds to be painted in this way. In 2011 the airline painted one of its domestic A320s in the same style and has since painted a new 777-300 aircraft likewise. There are currently seventeen B19Ds in the Air New Zealand fleet which are used on domestic routes up and down the country. Two Texture-sets are included, one with a gloss-alpha layer, and one without.

RAF Carnaby Download

File Description:
RAF Carnaby was an emergency landing strip that offered crippled bombers a safe place to land near the English coast during the Second World War. RAF Carnaby opened in March 1944. Unlike most RAF airfields, there was a single runway, five times the width of a standard runway and 9,000 ft (2,700 m) long, lying approximately east-west to enable bombers crossing the coast an easier landing. Two similar airfields were either constructed or further developed along the east coast of England, at Manston and Woodbridge, all three providing an emergency option for wartime bomber crews. The three airfields were developed to the same pattern, Woodbridge being the first to open in November 1943. The runway at Manston was brought into operation in April 1944.
