File Description:
This FSX Airport is more then just an enhanced style Airport. As most know the Approach and Final (VMC) for AI Traffic in FSX is a straight in type landing and does not always consider real world approaches. This is due to the way that the coding is written in FSX and it puts limits on IFR arriving aircraft. At certain airports the AI Traffic will fly directly through a mountain once it is established on Final for a runway. What you will see with my files is a different type approach used for both the way I control AI and User Airplane Traffic in FSX. My AI Aircraft Approach coding system for FSX uses a visual offset approach so AI Traffic does not fly through the mountains but flys the IGS/LDA 13 approach to the Checkerboard. Try your skill flying a Large Heavy Airplane vectored by ATC onto the approach course of the IGS/LDA 13 approach to Kai Tak. On 16th January 1990, Singapore Airlines ordered 20 McDonnell Douglas MD-11s, 15 firm with 5 options, selecting the PW4000 engine to equip them. Unfortunately, as the initial MD-11s failed to meet range and fuel-burn targets, Singapore Airlines cancelled it's 20 MD-11 orders, stating that they could not operate the MD-11 on its long haul routes. To replace the cancelled MD-11s, Singapore Airlines ordered 20 Airbus A340-300, the first of them being delivered with the registration 9V-SJA.
This repaint is a 'what if' look at what the graceful MD-11 trijet would have looked like in today's updated Singapore Airlines livery, with the large Singapore Airlines titles, and a special logo-paint on it's huge winglets. This is my very first repaint created with Photoshop, enjoy!

Truth or Consequences? Yes! There is such a place in the USA. I know that FS2004 has grass runways but it was interesting to see KTCS with a paved runway and multiple grass runways as well. Get you mower humming. Don't let the sun in your eyes affect your dusk landing in the mountains. This pack should separate the men from the boys. How does the saying go? Be careful what you wish for because you might get it. Finally the equipment failures creep up and bite you if you don't pay attention. Decision, decision. What will you do? Do you know how to hand crank your landing gears. No belly flopping allowed. Luck may be on your side this day as every pilot will attest. Remember, you must make it to your assigned destination. No excuses!
