N102AP, Virgin Islands Int'l Airways for LES DC3
This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3/C47, painted by Leen "Flybike" de Jager
This paint depicts (more or less) the DC3, N102AP in the Virgin Islands International Airways livery.
The original model had wing-registration, due to the limitations of the texture-mapping of this model, this could not be reproduced. ( grrrrrrrrr..........!!)
This time I removed the (tiny) pilots from the cockpit.*
How to install:
Just unzip N102AP.zip in a temp folder, and start reading the Virgin Islands Readme First.PDF carefully.
*IF you want the pilots back in the cockpit simply remove file Pilot.png from the N102AP Virgin Islands/objects-folder.
Yes, removing a file to get something back, it sounds weird, but I am not kidding.

| Qantas Empire Airways Douglas C-47 (VH-EAL) |

This folder contains a repaint for version 3.14 of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of VH-EAL of Qantas Empire Airways. Originally C-47A-20-DK c/n 13084 42-93199, it flew with the RAAF as A65-49 VH-CIE before joining Qantas in 1946 as VH-EAL (this paint), and later VH-EBH and VH-EBW. It went to Brain & Brown as VH-BAA (an earlier paint) in 1960 and flew with them until 1979. It was then taken to the Warbirds Aviation Museum in Mildura, but was moved to Alice Springs in 1995 to join the Central Australian Aviation Museum, where it is now painted in the colors of VH-EWE of Connair. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

| USAF Douglas C-124A 2nd Strategic Support Squadron |

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Douglas C-124A in USAF colors. The freeware Douglas C-124 for FSX by Jens Kristensen (JBK) is needed for this repaint. C-124A Serial 49-241 was part of the 2nd Strategic Support Squadron (the "Globe Girdlers"). This squadron was stationed at Biggs AFB and they were equiped with C-54 Skymasters. They were redeployed to Walker AFB in Rosswell NM, waiting for delivery of their first C-124A (serial 49-235), which arrived on July 17 1950. Interestingly, it was the first C-124 delivered to the Air Force for operational purposes. They received 4 more C-124As in August. However, in 1951 the squadron was subsequently transfered to Castle AFB in Merced California, and eventually reassigned to the Air Materiel Command as a Logistics Support Squadron. As for C-124A 49-241 it was retired from service on Feb 13, 1967 and sent to the 'Boneyard' at MASDC in Arizona.. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, and P3Dv1-3.

Based on repaint templates and original textures by Greg Pepper, Max, and Tom Gibson, this textures set in 'SAM' livery requires the Tom Gibson's original Douglas VC-118A-AF1-V01-2k4 (Air Force One,U.S.A.F.) package.This plane and many other classic airliners can be downloaded free from Tom Gibson's Classic Airliner WEB site at http://www.calclassic.com/ . Installation instructions are included. This aircraft was purchased by 'Societa Aerea Mediterranea' from 'Alitalia' during 1961. Repaint by Manuele Villa.

It was sold in 1991 and became N21BF with Basler Airlines. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 version 3.14, based on the paintkit by Gman5250.

File Description:
Argentinean Navy R4D CT-15. The Argentinean Navy had 18 C-47s in service between 1946/1963. CTA-15, was attached to the 4th Air Transport Squadron. This plane depicts the original antartical yellow markings, later changed to dull red. CT-15 is nowadays under restoration. Textures only for the MAAM-SIM's DOUGLAS R4D / DC-3/ C-47, available at www.maam.org. The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont, original textures are by Jan Visser.

The Douglas C-47A "France DC3", veteran of the Word War II on Europeen theater, have a long carriere before becoming the property of "France DC3" the association which maintains her in flying condition despite many difficulties. 10 repaints figure her carriere from 1972 to 2005, since her live the French Air Force until the Association take her in charge. This download requires the previous installation of the MAAM-SIM R4D-6 package, C47MAAM9 and MAAM-SIM OY-BPB.

Re-upload. FSX/FS2004 KLM Douglas C-54B-DC PH-DBZ. Built a C-54B-1-DC Skymaster at Chicago, IL, for the USAAF (c/n 10480). Powered by four 1,350 hp Pratt & Whitney R-2000-7 engines.After WW2 struck off and converted by Douglas at Santa Monica, CA (DC-4 conversion No. 67, powered by four 1,450 hp Pratt & Whitney Twin Wasp 2SD13G engines). Sold on 15 January 1947 to Santa Fe Skyways as N90862 'Sky Chief Apache'. Sold on 24 May 1948 to KLM as PH-TEZ 'Zeeland'. Used as a freighter only. Re-registered PH-DBZ on 29 March 1954. Broken up in 1958. Remains sold on 20 April 1959 to Aviation Traders Ltd., Southend, UK. Fuselage used as a mock up for the ATL.98 Carvair. Tail section of fuselage used to replace damaged tail section of Carvair #1 in July-September 1961. You will require Jens B. Kristensen's great Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V2.1 (dc4_v21.zip) and Douglas DC-4 and C-54 freighters V2.1 (dc4cgv21.zip). Original textures by Jens B. Kristensen. Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

Hunting-Clan African Airways (1955-1960) was set up as an associated company of Hunting-Clan to operate Tourist Class passenger and cargo services from Salisbury to Kariba, Lusaka, Livingstone, Broken Hill, Ndola, Fort Rosebery, Kasama and Abercon. They also offered Inclusive Tours to Vilancoulos (Mozambique) and Johannesburg. They operated two Douglas C-47's, VP-YNH and VP-YON. Prior installation of Manfred Jahn's outstanding FS2004 Douglas C-47 Base Pack is required. Repaint by Andre Reimers.

english:... corrective of breaker display right generator and master battery display of night. in the douglas dc3 original flight x simulator it misses 4 files of night display for these switches. I have recreate them to correct this lack.
francais:... correctif d'affichage des interrupteur generateur droit et master batterie affichage de nuit. dans le douglas dc3 original flight simulator x il manque 4 fichier d'affichage de nuit pour ces interrupteurs. je les ai recreer pour corriger ce manque.
