| Piper PA34 Seneca v3.5 |

File Description:
FSX Aircraft-Since its introduction in 1971 as the PA-34-200 Seneca I, the aircraft has undergone many changes. In 1975, responding to complaints about the aircraft's handling qualities, Piper introduced the PA-34-200T Seneca II. In 1981, the PA-34-220T Seneca III was introduced. The change in model designation reflects an engine upgrade. After the major upgrades of the Seneca II and III, model revisions were less drastic. In 1994, the "New" Piper company introduced the Seneca IV. This aircraft was much the same as the Seneca III but offered a streamlined engine cowl for increased cruise performance. Finally, in 1998 the Seneca V was released. Again the cowls were redesigned for increased performance, several cockpit switches were relocated from the panel to the headliner and a slightly different engine variant was used, but this aircraft is very similar to the III and IV models. File Description:
The Spitfire was developed continuously throughout World War II, through some 24 versions. A major revision of the original Spitfire was the Mk IX, a model quickly cobbled together to meet the challenge of the newly emerging Focke-Wulf 190. The high-altitude version Mk IX was essentially a Mk V with a 1,710-hp Merlin 70 engine, capable of more than 400 mph. From 1942 to 1944 5,665 Mk IXs were built, and at war's
end many were still in RAF service. This is the airplane flown by Lt.-Col Robert (Bob) Rogers, commanding officer of Nr. 40 Squadron of the South African Air Force in Italy during 1944.
This model has full animation, full lighting effects and a realistic panel with accurate views in all directions. a Checklist is also provided. The "Aircraft overstressed"-problem that occurs when trying fast maneuvers has also been rectified, so you can throw it about at your hearts content. HAPPY FLYING!!

| C-17 Globemaster III/ER |

File Description:
The C-17 Globemaster III/ER is a heavy cargo aircraft used by several foreign militaries, but primarily the U.S. Air Force. She is designed to do many things that other cargo aircraft cannot, based on her unique design. This version incorporates the extended range fuel tanks. The real world aircraft can actually use reverse thrust in flight, up to 100% reverse power, during descents or on the ground. It is also the only heavy aircraft in the world with a wing efficiency factor over 1.0, which is theoretically impossible, but true. All of the dynamics in this model are correct down to the inch, so she does almost everything the real aircraft does. Some things are not possible in FSX, including reverse thrust while in flight, but full flaps/slats employed in a steep descent will adequately simulate this effect without damage to the model while in flight. The landing gear are authentic and capable of heavy loads. The weight and balance is authentic. The fuel tanks are authentic. The aircraft name, tail number, location, and callsign are authentic. The calculated range(s) listed are all authentic, understanding that most public data released is based on average range, at average altitude, and normal payload missions. The sound is authentic. The engine dynamics are authentic. The panel used is the best I could find, is fairly authentic, and requires some pre-flight study before flight. All-in-All the aircraft is very simple to fly, but requires some study to operate correctly, so I recommend all simmers watch as many "You Tube" videos, read as many authentic sites, and study as much as possible about this aircraft before operation. This is a scenery upgrade for Funny Farm Airport, Brentwood, California (4CA2) (Why Funny Farm?) This is part Nine of a series of small airstrip and minor airfield scenery enhancements which are based on real world data from Google Earth. The scenery mainly reflects the appearance of the airpark from directly above, so if you are familiar with the place then on the ground it probably looks quite different, due to the limited number of buildings available. This scenery includes the Private lake and dwellings to the southwest of the airstrip proper plus extensive landclass alterations to make the small paddocks in the same area. This is a tough place to land neatly in anything past a C172 in calm weather; the runway is only 20 feet wide! Built using EZ_Scenery, Lee Swordy's AFCAD and SBuilder. You must have rwy12 and EZ scenery libraries installed for the buildings to show. Both libraries of objects are free: EZ Library is available from http://www.abacuspub.com/pub/AbacusEZLibraries.exe and rwy12 and additional EZ Custom libraries from Avsim. Search under Scenery design.

This is a fictitious fly-in lodge that I created for a quiet spot to fly into for weekend trips from the Seattle area. My cabin is located about 40 miles due south of Port Angeles, WA and about 50 miles due west of Seattle. - -
Wynoochee Lake is a real location, but my scenery around the lake is fictitious. - -
You will find my dirt airstrip to be quite challenging, although completely fly-able. My location is even more challenging at dawn or dusk with Weather. There are no approach lights, its just a rugged bush strip. - -
It is extra challenging with crash detection turned on - watch out for those birds, they're everywhere and that old tree just of the side of the dirt strip - don't get too close! - -
This is freeware. I hope you enjoy it. - -

| 13 Northern Ontario Airfields in Canada |

These are 13 airfields in northwest Ontario, Canada. They were previously posted individually, but not on Avsim. There is a screenshot of Google Earth showing their names and locations. There are also updates to two previously posted airports, Red Lake CYRL and Sioux Lookout CYXL, and AI with the supply flights that are vital for these isolated outposts. Pickle Lake is a northern airfield that is connected to the rest of Canada by an all-weather road, and a large number of the supply flights originate from there. In fact these flights are the primary reason for the small towns existence. This will be followed by a posting of a similar number of northern Manitoba airfields. You may wonder about the numbers of fuel tanks at these airfields. These are not for the airfield use, they are for the settlement to be able to generate electricity and also to provide heating in the winter. | Ocean Stations for Multiplayer Use |

File Description:
I've produced this scenery to provide all of the Ocean Stations I know about in the 1950's and 1960's. There is a Coast Guard ship on station (painted in the colors of the USA), an NDB to give you a bearing to the ship, a way to contact the ship using voice (you can get your position relative to the ship this way), and a DME for distances further than the limited 30 NM FS ATC gives you (normal communications would reach about 100 NM). You can also get a weather report, and if you are a seaplane you can be cleared to land. If you are a landplane, I guess this would constitute permission to ditch...
I want to give a big thank you to Mitsuya Hamaguchi (hama) for graciously supplying the ship used in this scenery.
This version uses scenery ships, which will not disappear in multiplayer. There is only a US ship, however. For the AI ship version (with ships of several countries) download OceanStations.zip instead.

Chiang Mai was founded in the late 13th century. It was once the capital of Lanna, an independent Thai Kingdom and has preserved its unique cultural heritage to a marked degree. It is located 700 km (435 mi) north of Bangkok, among the highest mountains in the country. The city is on the Ping river, a major tributary of the Chao Phraya river. Culture of Chiang Mai is architecture reflects Lanna Thai,Burmese,Sri Lankan and Mon influences.There are some 300 temples in the city and on its outskirts. The Golden Age of Lanna-Chiang Mai lies some 500 years back in the time of king Tilokarat,but the city has recently been undergoing a process of regeneration,and while full of the bustle of modern life,it hasn't lost touch with its glorious past.
This scenery just only preview the real thing. If you visit Thailand, this city is the "must" see in your trip. The best time to go to Chiangmai is winter time since the weather is cool and bright sunny.

This folder contains a second repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of Maj. Donald J Strait's P-51D 44-15152 QI-T "Jersey Jerk". He flew with the 361st FS/356th FG from Martlesham Heath, UK. By the end of the war, Donald Strait had completed two combat tours, 122 missions in the P-47 and P-51, and racked up 13 ½ enemy aircraft kills, making him the top ace of the 356th. He retired from the Air Force as a Major General in 1978. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

File Description:
This is a tribute to my dad's Comanche, bought brand-new in 1960. Over the next 40 years he flew it all over the U.S., to Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and South America. He quit flying a few years before his death in 1999, and sold his share to his partner, who later handed the plane down to his son. The plane performed yeoman service until October 2012, when the plane took and structural icing and ended up being crash landed in a field. The pilot was fine. The plane was a total loss.
