File Description:
FS2004 ELVA B747 Pack Update to v3. This file will upgrade my ELVA Boeing 747 Pack to version 3. Version 3 includes some major and minor updates. It also adds new features: Heat Haze (shimmer) effects plus smoke effects by Martyn Becker, Reverser Spray Effects by Edward Cox and Takeoff Spray effects by Dennis Franke. Fly UK Virtual Airways livery will be added in the future. I have also created a low spec system option so that low spec users can use my boeing packages but with less features. See the readme file for more details. Patch by Peter Slater, uploaded by Gareth Abbott. Big thanks to those named here. Credited as asked. | Operation Sky Light |
|
File Description:
In the early cold dawn of February 7, 2008 the sky of Siberia was
lighted by a yellowish light accompanied
by a sound similiar to Rock & Roll Drums....in this barren land very
few saw or heard it. Radar Station "Kipowlsky-33" in
lower Siberia recorded a falling object for 20 minutes then lost it.
Enrico Flemmi of the Italian Space Watch Observatory has told the
Roman Daily that all electronic devices placed by the observatory in
Siberia have shut down, 65 of them!!....Stritch
Gunswarsek, of the EU Scientific Laboratory for the studies of the
Atmosphere has declared that a high
level of Ozone has been detected from ground 0 to 24,000 feet over
all Siberia...........
In response, Operation " Sky-Light" has been authorized with priority
" Secret + 999" meaning that all Special planes
equipped with " Alpha 323 Sensors" must go to Siberia and follow
procedure "Klinky-8989"--- Russia has agreed that UN NATIONS AIRCRAFT WILL BE ACCEPTED!!!!.
The penetrator must be found!!Is this time True???----If you go, do take a scarf.

Generic Advanced Customized Panel. Since this panel includes All XML gauges for
2-, 3- and 4 engines aircraft, it can be used for any heavy jet. Also you have 3 Choices, between the metal gray color panel (old Boeing) or the brown color of the FS2002 boeing default and the feeling to be in a Airbus (PFD of A380). All gauges are on the same place in the 3 different engine version or airplane, no more memorizing the different panels. It has a full working overhead, TCAS radar, ATC control, customized FS2002 GPS, ACS-GPS, APU, FMC, HUD, Wiper and many custom xml gauges. Special attention is made on the Radio, Fuel, PFD, Clock, Taxi speed control, Wind speed, Bank rate, Auto mb-Hg, Push back, and Sim speed. A lot of information during take off, flight and landing. | Himalayas LOD9 Base Mesh, Volume 1 - Southeastern Ranges |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Detailed terrain mesh of the Southeastern Himalayan Ranges, N26-32 E90-98. The files in this package are based on Shuttle Radar (SRTM) Version 2 data but with many of the void areas, especially the most significant sections, filled with elevation data generated from topographic maps by Jonathan de Ferranti. While Jonathan's work is unrelated to flight simulation he kindly gave me permission to compile his data for use in FS. The result is a wonderful improvement in detail and accuracy over any existing mesh file, freeware or commercial, based on SRTM or DTED data alone.
Due to the large area of the Himalayas I've compiled the source data as two separate series: the "Himalayan Peaks" series covers prominent mountains and ranges in higher detail and locally overrides any existing LOD9 terrain mesh. In addition, a LOD9 "base mesh" series, with LOD8 and LOD7 "buffer" mesh files, covering the entire Himalayas, is meant for those who do not yet have an add-on terrain mesh of these beautiful mountains.

| A-1H Skyraider Version 4.0c Alternative INI Files |
|
File Description:
Monty's model is great. Digital Overload worked really hard on the ini files as well. But the A-1H V4.0a release still has many problems. I am offering my own version 4.0c ini files (this solves the prop issue with the 4.0b ini files). These ini files offer some nice alternatives to the 4.0a files: The cockpit is unfinished but more importantly has transparency issues with the glass. The problem is compounded when you try to see through the gunsight, canopy, and propellor tga files. So I replaced the unfinished cockpit with the stock A-4B cockpit. It is very similar and has almost identical functionality. It is also very easy to see through the glass and even targets through the gunsight. Since the prop is visible again, I have provided a more transparent version of the original prop tga file. The lod table has been vastly simplified to reflect the fact that there are only two lod files. The A-1H has no radar, so the erroneous line giving it one has been deleted.
