Frigate Bird II - The Return Flight

File Description:
By 1951 the final ocean to be traversed for air travel was the South Pacific between Australia and South America. On 13 March 1951 Cpt. P.G. Taylor set off from the flying boat base at Rose Bay in Sydney with a crew of four and arrived in Valparaiso on 26th. March. (see fbird_51.zip for this outward flight). The return flight - which is represented by this file - was made on 4th. April 1951 with the Frigate Bird II arriving home to Sydney on 21st. April. The aircraft was subsequently presented to Captain Taylor by the then Prime Minister, Sir Robert Menzies, in recognition of the first air-crossing of the South Pacific Ocean and other pioneering flights.

KSLC v1.1

File Description:
UPDATE 12/25/05! FIXED A FEW TAXIWAY AND PARKING ERRORS KSLC being my local international airport, I made this the only AFCAD2 with correct parking and traffic for Gary Widup's amazing KSLC Airport Upgrade. There are a few other AFCAD2's designed for his airport, but they were all incorrect. Gary's was most correct but a bit outdated. KSLC is quickly changing as it is under construction daily. I've spent a lot of time studying, and examining the terminals and airlines of this airport. As well as the traffic patterns of taxiways and runways. Parking is set to AI specifications. I've included airline and terminal information and pictures inside this zip.

Antonov AN-2T Greek TV ANT-1

File Description:
Antonov AN-2T First appearing in 1947, the AN-2's was first dismissed as obsolete, due to it's biplane layout and homely looks. But the "Annushka" would prove the naysayers wrong.... and how! The biplane layout proved itself, and there wasn't much the AN-2 couldn't do, whether as a passenger, cargo, parachuting, crop spraying, or spec ops plane. Over 20,000 were produced, mostly in Poland. Not bad for an "obsolete" design. This AN-2T textured to represent an aircraft belonging to the Greek TV Channel 'ANT-1' during the 'Archangel 2005' Air Show at Tanagra (Athens). Repaint textures only ; requires the model by Tim Conrad (an2tppp.zip). Repaint by Manuele Villa. File name: an2_ant1.ZIP

Flying Tiger Line - Flight #565 - New York to Milwaukee, May 1955

File Description:
This package comprises four separate flight-plans covering the scheduled Flying Tiger Line's service #565 from New York to Milwaukee as at 1st. May 1955. The aircraft used on Flight #565 was the Curtiss C-46. All the flights are operated under IFR rules as they were carried during the hours of darkness, this particular flight starting from Newark at 23:30 EDT and ending at Milwaukee at 09:20 CST. To make the most from this package you should download and install the Flying Tigers Curtiss C-46 model for Flight Simulator 2004 that has been created by J.R. Lucariny and Wayne Tudor and made available just before Easter, 2006. Search for ftl_c-46.zip

Virtual Cockpit For Amelia Earhart Lockheed L10E Electra

File Description:
This program will upgrade the fs9 Amelia Earhart Lockheed L10E by adding a Virtual Cockpit to both the Sperry Autopilot version of that aircraft and to the Modern Autopilot version. Before you can use this upgrade you must first have downloaded and installed the Earhart L10E Electra, filename l10eae01.zip. This VC is the work of Norman Hancock, who would like to thank Dave Bitzer for his help and encouragement. Thanks also to Arik Hohmeyer of FS-Design Berlin for his excellent L10E Electra, and to J. L. Stubbs for his faithful FS98 Earhart Panel; both were the basis of the Earhart L10E development. The VC Upgrade is a one-step install.

File Description:
FS2004 LOM Library Objects Images. This archive contains many image import files containing thumbnails or image files for use with Library Object Manager (LOM) version 1.0+ program to manage FS2004 library objects and create scenery by ScruffyDuck Software, Jon Masterson. This is EIGHT image collections of 176 objects, mostly airport objects, forklifts in various positions, generators, pallets, scooters, hangers, spectacular terminal buildings, sailplanes, signs, cargo, log cabins, churches, houses, people, cable drums, and a wide variety of fencing. Requires LOM_100.ZIP and import of the LENS_EZ_SCENERY.ZIP into LOM. Also included is a set of higher resolution screenshots to upgrade those images imported into LOM. Higher resolution screenshots are suitable for printing an index or contact sheet of images.

Aviajet MD-83

File Description:
SGA McDonnell Douglas MD-83 of Aviajet with textures by John Newman. This is the newer model from SGA and is in the airline's current livery. Two variants are included, one as currently operated and one with the addition of logos on the engines and tail which has yet to be completed in the real world. Although the model is configured with default panel and sound files it can easily be configured to accept SGA's sound file "sjajt8d2.zip" which can be downloaded separately, together with an appropriate MD-83 panel of your choice. Model/Texturing by Erick Cantu and FDE/XML by Fraser Turner. Special thanks to SGA whose excellent model forms the basis for the repaint.

Fuerza Aerea Venezolana Rockwell T-2D Buckeye 0048 EAM The Rockwell T-2D Buckeye was widely used in multi-roll operations, as advanced trainer in the FAV, at the Military Aviation School, (EAM), forming fighter pilots, for aerobatics team and finally as a combat fighter. This aircraft were in the FAV from 1972 untill 2000, when it were retired from service. This aircraft 0048 was a part of the Military Aviation School,(EAM) at training group N° 14,with its home in Mariscal Sucre Air Base, Maracay, Aragua State.
