Hawaii Pacific Air ATL.98 Carvair

File Description:
These textures represent Aviation Traders' ATL.98 Carvair #20 N5459X and #21 N5459M in the livery of Hawaii Pacific Air. Hawaii Pacific Air owned them only less than 2 years (mid 1990-early 1992) after which they were stored at Honolulu, HI, for over 3 years. They moved ownership several times before Airline Marketing Consultants bought them with the aim to ferry them to South Africa. This whole time they retained their Hawaii Pacific Air colours. In the end only N5459M moved to South Africa where, registered 9J-PAA, she is still airworthy, flying for Phoebus Apollo. N5459X stayed in North America. She, too, is still airworthy, flying for Brooks Fuel as N898AT. These are textures only. You will require Jon Walton's freeware Aviation Traders ATL.98 Carvair (jwat98.zip or jwat98_2k2.zip). YNRB Narembeen, Western Australia airstrip and townsite

File Description:
YNRB Narembeen - The idea of creating a town at the Narembeen siding was the brainchild of a prominent Perth lawyer, Henry Hale, and a Perth publican, Paddy Connolly. When the men realised the problems that were being created by the teetotal community at Emu Hill they purchased 30 acres (about 12 ha) of land at Narembeen, used their influence with the local politicians, got permission to build a pub and then sold off the rest of the land to prospective residents of their 'private town'. The pub, which still stands today, was all that was needed to overwhelm the struggling nearby settlements and become the centre for the whole area. By 1925 Narembeen had a population of 2100. MAAM-SIM DC-3 Fuel Tank Selection and Autolean Modification

File Description:
This gauge is applicable only to the FS2004 MAAM-SIM DC-3 (available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations at www.maam.org) or other planes using the MAAM-SIM DC-3 AIRCRAFT.CFG and MaamSim_DC3.air flight dynamics files, such as the Mark Beaumont 'IFR' Panel modification for the MAAM-SIM DC-3 (DCAMAAM4.zip, DCAMAAM5.zip). It is not calibrated for use with the stock DC-3, or the MAAM-SIM R4D flight dynamics files, or other third party aircraft. Likewise, it is not recommended for use with the MAAM-SIM DC-3 in FS2002. The purpose of this gauge is to disable FS2004's default characteristic of setting the fuel flow to the engines from "all" tanks setting, and to simulate the correct auto-rich and auto-lean settings on the mixture controls as desired. Agusta Bell AB-205 Hellenic Air Force SAR

File Description:
Agusta Bell AB-205 is an utility multy purpose helicopter used by Hellenic Armed Forces. This is a repaint presenting an Agusta Bell AB-205 in SAR (Search And Rescue) mode in service with 358th Sqdr. of Hellenic Air Force based at Elefsina, Greece. These helicopters are flying with Hellenic Air Force on SAR operations. They are painted with the standard NATO pattern with the yellow stripe. This "AB-205_HAF_v1.zip" package is fully compatible with FS2K2 and it contains sound, panel, checklist, and a VERY completed aircraft handbook/manual which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. This repaint was based on the original model made by Jordan Moore and Lynn Rogers. I also create (starting by "zero"...) a realistic panel based on real photos and diagrams! This "AB-205_HAF_v1.zip" package contains visual effects, night lighting, etc.

Colorado Lakes Project III

File Description:
This project features the lakes of Southwest Colorado, replaces the default Navajo Lake on the Colorado-New Mexico border, and adds over 300 highly detailed lakes to Colorado. They fit seamlessly with my "Colorado Lakes Project II" (colorado_lakes_project_2.zip) and "Colorado Lakes Project I" (colorado_lakes_project_1.zip) lakes. The original "Colorado Lakes Project I" is recommended to complete this package, as it contains McPhee, Lemon, and Vallecito Reservoirs. These lakes are specifically designed to show off their photo realistic detail when used in combination with "FSGenesis-The Rockies 38.2m Terrain Mesh-Colorado" available as "fsg_dem38m_usrk_co.zip" at avsim.com, or comparable mesh. The free FSGenesis US National Landclass Project Beta 6 also adds beautifully to the landscape. These lakes work equally as well with the default mesh. All lake information was projected from satellite imagery and compiled with a beta version of Jim Keir's "Slartibartfast" utility.
