File Description:
This is meant as a default replacement and includes an AFCAD2 file for lots of assigned parking. I was a little disappointed with the default Newark Liberty scenery. I have improved the default buildings. Terminal A, B, and C, the new tower, have been redone and I included the old toothbrush tower, even though it is slated for destruction soon. Have fun with it. [Version 2 adds specific compatibility with RWY12, ADE9X, and Sbuilder 2.05. If you have already installed the previous version of this library and are NOT using one of these programs to place scenery objects, you do not need to download and install V2.] Many scenery making programs for FS9 give us access to the default terminal buildings in the FS9 libraries. Unfortunately the FS9 libraries are completely unorganized, so finding a specific shape and color of building can be time consuming. Also, many of the terminal buildings are too distinctive in appearance to be of much use to someone who is looking for simple shapes to use as "building blocks" to create their own terminals. I went through most of the FS9 scenery libraries that contain terminal buildings and chose a representative sampling of simple shapes in the various textures that are available, and compiled these into a scenery object library. This makes it easier to find, say, a two story, T-shaped, yellow textured terminal building. These are not new objects, they are default scenery objects created and owned by Microsoft. I'm simply providing a more convenient way to use them. Previous version had 9300(!) downloads.

File Description:
A collection of general aviation hanger scenery objects for FS9. V3 adds a couple of slightly larger hanger models in a variety of colors, with doors open, closed or animated. I also tweaked the textures a bit to (hopefully) make the "blurries" less likely. Scenery that you created with V2 should not be affected by installing V3. Previous versions had 2,580 downloads.

A flight sim colleague requested this airport as there is no ZWKL in the default FSX setup, nor are there any free 3rd party offerings on the major websites. This is my first attempt at an Asian airport and it is "built from scratch", so there are known issues.
ZWKL Korla Licheng Airport serves the city of Korla in Xinjiang autonomous region of the People's Republic of China.
The airport features custom made hangars, buildings, and terminal, some with interiors and transparent glass for night lighting.
Some previous scenery files required.

| Sliac (LZSL) enhanced scenery and ADE file |

File Description:
Sliac (LZSL) is a military and civilian airfield in the Slovak Republic.
This scenery replaces the default LZSL with an enhanced version of the
airport. Parking for military aircraft is provided on the ramps and in
numerous hardened shelters. Parking is also provided for general aviation
aircraft. This design was accomplished using ADE, SBuilderX, FSXPlanner
and Whisplacer. Custom hardened shelters created by Juri Masnik.
Default FSX library objects, autogen and RWY12 objects were used
for this creation, This scenery is for FSX only and was tested in
FSX-Acceleration\SP2 on WinXP Pro.

The Deluxe version of Flight Simulator X contains a very easy-to-use tool for placing scenery objects visually within the game. Unfortunately, the Microsoft developers neglected to tell anybody.
This document contains an illustrated explanation of this tool and how to use it.
