File Description:
Two Continental 747-143A repaints for the Project Open Sky 747 v4 series. These repaints depict the historical status of one airframe, N17011.
The liveries include the 1980's "red meatball" paint scheme, and the current familiar livery we see today which dates from the early 1990's.
The experts among you will note that the customer number -43 was assigned by Boeing to Alitalia, indicating that these aircraft were acquired by Continental in the resale market.
The colors and logos depicted here are accurate to the best of my ability. I've been interested in historic 747's for several years now as an outgrowth of my experiences with the Historic Jetliners Group.
The natural metal textures I used on the engines is the work of my HJG associate Yannick Charland.
I've included models and the necessary text files to incorporate these repaints into your collection.

This is a repaint of the FS2004/FS2002 MAAM-SIM Passenger DC-3 in a specially commissioned livery for the 2010 DC-3 World Rally, organised by the team at DC-3 Airways VA. Visit www.dc3airways.com for information about this exciting event commencing October 2, 2010. Thereafter, you can keep this lovely lady as a souvenir of how well you flew! Requires a base install of the FS2004/2002 R4D-6/DC-3A package available from Mid-Atlantic Air Museum Simulations at www.maam.org. Can be used in FSX with the upgrade files available from the same site. This livery is also available for the default FS2004 DC-3 as wr10_fs9.zip, and for the default FSX aircraft as wr10_fsx.zip. | "Craig Field" North American AT-6 Texan (N85696) |

File Description:
This is a repaint for the payware A2A Simulations AT-6 Texan. This repaint depicts the restored AT-6D 42-85696, registered N85696, owned by Paul Ehlen, based just outside Minneapolis at Flying Cloud airport in Eden Prairie, MN, and can be seen on public display at the Wings of the North Museum. This aircraft originally served as an instrument trainer at Craig Field, Alabama in 1945 and 1946. Between 2002 and 2006 the aircraft was fully restored by John Meyer and Gary Allen, of Lake Stevens, WA, and it is the most accurate/authentically-complete AT-6D flying today. The restored aircraft has a propeller spinner fitted, as some of the Craig Field AT-6D's did have spinners installed, based on period photos.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Lockheed P-38 by Flight Simulations Design (FSD), representing F-5F-3-LO 44-25546 of GR2/33 'Belfort" of the Free French Air Force. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom. I have included two versions, one with a painted on camera window on the nose ("French F-5") and one looking like a normal P-38 ('French P-38'). You can pick the one you like. Please note that I have changed the texture size from 4096x4096 to 2048x2048, for the main textures, the spec files and the bump maps, which are all included. This should give better frame rates I hope.
