The Thanlwin Bridge (Mawlamyine), linking Mawlamyine, the capital of Mon State, and Mottama side, is the longest and largest of its kind in Myanmar (Burma). It is 11575 feet long and has a 28-foot-wide two-lane motorway with the length of two miles, a 14-foot-wide railroad with the length of four miles, and two six-foot-wide walkways on it. Re-upload. Thai Sky airline is still operating the venerable Lockheed L-1011 to this day. Most of its routes are out of Bangkok to points throughout South East Asia although I occasionally see them leaving Chiang Mai Int. airport in the north of Thailand. The model is by Mike Stone. The wings, pylon, and engine textures are completely new to this model and better represent the look of the real aircraft. All textures contain a mix of 32 bit 888-8 and DXT3 formats, to insure clarity with minimal loss of frame rates plus custom alphas for realistic reflections. I recommend using the REAL Rolls Royce RB211 soundset from Skysong Soundworks and any L1011 panel by Ken Mitchell which are both available on Avsim. Enjoy !!!

Re-upload. Air America, the secret airline operated by the CIA during the Vietnam War graces the famous Lockheed L-1011 during the late 80's. Whether this airline had any connections to the infamous Air America of the war era I do not know nor have I been able to gather any information on it. The livery looks good on Mike Stone's model. The wings, pylon, and engine textures are completely new to this model and better represent the look of the real aircraft. All textures contain a mix of 32 bit 888-8 and DXT3 formats, to insure clarity without loss of frame rates plus custom alphas for realistic reflections. I recommend using the REAL Rolls Royce RB211 soundset from Skysong Soundworks and any L1011 panel by Ken Mitchell which are both available on Avsim. Enjoy !!!

Re-upload. Total Air operated the Lockheed L-1011 during the early 80's and I suspect eventually became Air America. Their livery is similar and the aircraft tail numbers were the same. The model is by Mike Stone. The wings, pylon, and engine textures are completely new to this model and better represent the look of the real aircraft. Aklavik is a town of 650 or so inhabitants at N68 W135, which means 120 miles inside the Arctic Circle and on the West Channel of the Mackenzie River delta. It is 40 miles west of Inuvik and around 60 miles from where the Mackenzie meets the Beaufort Sea. There is only one airline serving the town on a regular basis and that is North Wright, which is headquartered in Norman Wells and also has a base in Inuvik. Aklavik village does not feature in FS9, so the first thing to do was to add it; not all the smaller streets are in place but it is the right shape and with around the right number of houses. The only building with (partly) correct textures is the school near the airfield. I couldn't begin to model 150+ houses, so think of it as a hand-made auto-generated village. I had to move the airfield over beside the river, so there is a DELETE file and a GRASS file, as well as an AFCAD for AI (the AI will follow later) and a scenery file.

This is part of our 2nd round of EditVoicepack files (see aig_tower_release_2.zip). Our goal is to provide accurate ATC calls in order to provide Microsoft Flight Simulator traffic with quality ATC. These sounds are the best that we have been able to compile and are accurate as of release date and to the extent that our data and the limitations of the EditVoicepack allow.
