1935 First Commercial Flight Across The Rockies

File Description:
Retrace Grant McConachie's steps as he flies the first commercial flight over the Rocky Mountains, from Calgary to Vancouver in a Ford TriMotor. This package includes the flight, flight plan, and an optional weather setup. This flight is brought to you by the Ontario Northern Flying Club. This flight uses the default fs2004 Trimotor and default scenery. You may want to download the BC Mesh files available here on avsim as well. FS2002 users may use any Ford Trimotor on AVSIM for this flight.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 13

File Description:
This ain't your grandma adventure as this pack will attest. At least I tried but I didn't see any UFO flying around Roswell, New Mexico. Oh well! I know of a Chihuahua dog but there is a place in Mexico called Chihuahua. Go figure-which came first? You will see the most impressive sunset yet in this HRW adventure as you head to Phoenix. So far, you have survived Hopping Round the World Adventure Pack 1. Landing the second leg was quite an eye opener about what is in store in this adventure. Some airports seem to disappear right before your eyes while landing. Put that IFR to use or you're done for. Mountains and hilltops to close for comfort? As your adventure continues over the Brazilian landscape you end up in the Amazon. Handle that Boeing 747-400 Cargo as you complete the last leg. More real-world weather and sim surprises for sure. File Description:
With South America behind us, we make a brief stop in Venezuela and continue to the Caribbean. Landing in Trinidad, you experience a moonrise and awesome sunset. Hopping and skipping along in more prop power than before and soon we will be past the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and others into Jamaica, the Bahamas and Orlando, Florida. Rumors has it that once we leave The Florida Keys its on towards Cuba and Central America following with more stops in the United States. We are not even halfway yet.

With a brief shower before takeoff in Saint Thomas, the United States Virgin Islands, you head over to Puerto Rico. The last leg brings you to the Dominican Republic. Keep a steady hand as we continue onwards.

File Description:
Wow! Some of these flights sure take my breath away. With stops in Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba and the Bahamas, we finally make it to our first stop in mainland USA - Palm Beach, Florida. Our journey ends in Orlando, Florida. Once in Orlando, you realize that you have flown 13,998 miles already using props and big iron. I just received the updated flight plans that shows we exit the US through the Florida Keys, back into Cuba heading towards Cancun, Mexico and other parts of Central America in the next HRW Adventure pack.

Hopping Round the World Adventure - Pack 8

File Description:
Can a Boeing 777-300 do that? Find out if you can in The Florida Keys. Ahhhhhhh, for the first time ever you'll notice a default AI DC3 in FS2004. Where? Havana, Cuba. Look for it before departing the gate area. With a couple of United States stops behind us, its on towards the hot destination of spring break in Cancun, Mexico. Now in Central America, we venture to an airfield with no markings or lights whatsoever. Good thing it was a daytime landing. Looking at my charts, we may have some dicey approaches upcoming for Central America. I hope the weather is above IFR conditions during our operations there. Once we complete the many legs in Central America, its back to the USA before heading up towards Canada and Greenland.
