| ELVA / FlyUK Boeing 777 Package Update to v3 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This file will upgrade my ELVA Boeing 777 Pack to version 3. Version 3 includes some major and minor updates. It also adds new features: Heat Haze (shimmer) effects plus smoke effects by Martyn Becker, Reverser Spray Effects by Edward Cox and Takeoff Spray effects by Dennis Franke. I have also created a low spec system option so that low spec users can use my boeing packages but with less features. See the readme file for more details. Patch by Peter Slater, uploaded by Gareth Abbott. Big thanks to those named here. Credited as asked. Visit his web site for his other projects at http://fsprojects.webs.com or search 'peter slater' here on AVSIM. You can watch a promo video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTepYmNtXw8, requires psb777f.zip

| Junkers Ju52 I.G. Farben Bayer Leverkusen |
|
File Description:
This is a Repaint Texture for Oliver Fischer's excellent Junkers Ju-52 v.2 on "I.G. Farben Bayer Leverkusen" colors. Regarding to the Ju52 owned by the IG Farben Bayer Leverkusen (nickname: the flying pharmacy) was a brand-new aircraft of the type Junkers 52/3 m, which has been equipped for special tasks since its production. Very special about the Ju52 was being the first industrial big-plane in the World. The "old lady" was the first company-owned aircraft in the world. She's been dubbed on 1937-11-16 at Cologne Airport "Butzweilerhof". At the same time this was the site of the plane so that the local specalists of Lufthansa could have been used for maintenance works.

| Central African Airways, Vickers Viscount 700 circa 1956 |
|

File Description:
CAA purchased their first Vickers Viscount 748D on 25th April 1956. A further four were delivered in the same year. The aircraft came equipped with external slipper tanks for long-range operations. In 1957 the Viscounts took over the international service to Europe from Vickers Vikings. All the Viscounts except VP-YNE passed on to Air Rhodesia when Central African Airways was disolved in 1965. This V.748D (C/N 99) was built for CAA as VP-YNB and first flew on Saturday, 5 May 1956 at Hurn, Bournemouth, Dorset, England powered by Rolls-Royce Dart 510 engines. You need Rick Piper's Vickers Viscount 700 model which you can download at: http://www.cbfsim.org/cbfsim/cbfs_lib/displayimage.php?album=9&pos=0. Repaint by Andre Reimers.

| Inter City Airlines (Alidair livery) Viscount 708 G-ARIR |
|
File Description:
March 1981 saw Alidair merge the various divisions to form Inter City Airlines. Unfortunatley the airline suffered losses and in September 1983 was sold to British Air Ferries. The three surviving Viscount 700's were of no interest to BAF. The Guernsey Airlines V.724 remained in store at Guernsey until bought by Janus and flown to Exeter where it was overhauled but found to be too corroded for further service. The two Series 708's including this one had already been sold to Janus and after a seasons service sold on to MMM Aero Services in Zaire. Now registered 9Q-CAN this machine was broken up in Kinshasa, Zaire in January 1987. Requires the FSDS Viscount 700 model by Rick Piper

| BAe Harrier GR3 XV758 3 Sqn RAF |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is my rendition of XV758 with tailcode "V" flown by 3 Squadron , RAF Gutersloh circa 1989 .. Modifications include panellines , rivets , squadron badge on flying suit , changed colour of helmet , changed number on GPU and added new bump & spec maps ( where needed ) .
There are however certain limitations with the texture mapping , for example the rear section of the main fuselage is only shown once in the paintkit,so the camouflage pattern is mirrored .One of the flaps is also mirrored above and below the wing,so all camouflage using Light Aircraft Grey undersides aren't shown correctly..The fuel tank has the same problem as certain sections are also mirrored. The camera was only mounted on the port side of the nose, not port and starboard.

| Algerian Air Force Mil Mi-24V Hind E |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Mil MI-24V Hind E. Deadly looking, and just as lethal, the Mil MI-24 series of Helicopter Gunships are perfect Cold War images of the Soviet concept of a "Flying APC" armed with AT missiles, Rockets and Cannon, and capable of transporting 8 Troops in its cabin. Caused much concern in the West, where there was no counterpart, and given the NATO code-name "Hind" MI-24's were first built with conventional flightdeck-type cabin,as the MI-24A, then redesigned with the stepped, armored cockpits for pilot and weapons systems operator (wso), as the MI-24D. Later improvements resulted in the V, VP, P, and Recon versions. Was, and still, in service with over 20 nations.

| ANA Pokemon Jet '98 Domestic Version Boeing 747-400D |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
A repaint of the Project Open Sky Boeing 747-400D GE model into the colors of one of All Nippon Airways' first Pokemon Jet design unveiled in 1998. Hand-painted in Photoshop. Aircraft is registered JA8965 however no longer wearing it. ANA used this for international flights. May work with FS2004 however there are no guarantees. Requires POSKY's base 747-400D package (links to the package can be found at the readme file). Note that this is different from the International version; this one has the writings "Pocket Monsters" in the middle with the tail having their own design, not the airline logo and this one has no winglets, unlike the standard -400.
