Nighttime Brighter Highways and Roads

File Description:
These are default textures to make the Highways and Roads in FS2004 look considerably more lit up with traffic at nighttime. They make for better screenshots and make it much easier to navigate using roads as VFR lanmdmarks at night. Please see the screenshots for a much better look.

Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches

File Description:
FS 2004 Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches 24 Volume . I am constantly amazed by the high number of simers that restrict their flying activities to small localized areas, never venturing much further than their own backyards. I can't help thinking that these simers miss out on some truly great flying experiences by confining themselves to such limited parameters. If nothing else, Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous Approaches will get you out more! Whether you are simply a local pilot flying within your own well-worn neighbourhood, or a demanding adventurous international aviator, there's something for everyone in these volumes. For the new simer I have included some very easy approaches, and for the army of case-hardened veterans who think they has seen and done it all - let me tell you now - you haven't! I'll introduce you to approaches that will leave you absolutely flabbergasted - and may I add, begging for more! Each volume contains (10) difficult and dangerous approaches which are set up for you – all you have to do is fly them! I have also included a ~ (STAR) ~ approach in each volume - which is a gem of an approach that will thrill and amaze you. If you've always wanted to know where all the difficult and dangerous approaches could be found in MSFS 2004, but never new where to look, I've discovered them all - and now I'm sharing them with you. Search and Rescue Convair 440

File Description:
The pilot reported problems a few minutes after he picked up the "Teslin Ndb radio. The only witness pilot reported an aircraft of medium size with two engines trailing smoke and in a fairly good dive and going in a straight path on a northerly heading. See readme for more details.

Ketchikan and Revillagigedo Island, Alaska

File Description:
This package DOES NOT contain finished FS scenery products! Instead, the three bitmaps (N55.2-56.1 W130.6-131.9) are meant to be used for FS landscape scenery design with Ground2K4 (by Christian Fumey) or similar utilities. Source data are public domain Landsat 7 TM satellite images, at 15-m and 30-m ground resolution. I used professional GIS software for the geographic transformation to lat/long-WGS84 projection, and photo processing software for channel merging and image enhancements. Each image has been tested in Ground2K4 for accurate placement. Note: these images have been ECW-compressed and need special (free) software for decompressing (instructions included).
