cfs2/Grumman F6F-3 Hellcat No. 37 BuNo.08926 VF-16, USS Lexington, November 1943. Painted over The B24 Guy's F6F-3 Overhauled Model. Pilot: Lt(jg) Eugene R. Franks. On November 23, 1943, Franks downed five aircraft in only a matter of minutes. No kill flags were painted on his aircraft at the time, as he never flew #37 again after the five in one day kills. Complete Texture Folder with all texture and damage files included. By revev. Enjoy!

File Description:
The Curtiss Sparrowhawk was developed to be carried aboard, and defend, the United States Navy's airships of the 1930's. In this instance the subject aircraft has been restored in the colours of one of the USS Macon's F9C-2's. The photograph is taken from a "Wings" magazine of the 1970's.
A 400-piece puzzle created with Jigsaw Puzzle 2 by Tibo Software. No installation necessary; the puzzle runs straight from the file. Readme with the simple instructions is included.

File Description:
This FS9 repaint of the MAAM-SIM Grumman TBF-1C Avenger represents an aircarft from Torpedo Squadron 2 (VT-2) that served aboard USS Hornet (CV-12) during summer 1944. The white disc on the tail was Hornet's air goup ID (Air Group 11 - CVG-11). Repaint by Steve Bryant based original textures by Todd Disrud included in the MAAM-SIM Avenger package, and the paintkit by Jan Visser, which can be found on the Free Stuff page for the Avenger at www.maam.org.

This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk by Dino Cattaneo (IndiaFoxtEcho), in the colors of N49WH, a A-4B that is still airworthy as N49WH and registered in Illinois with the Warbird Heritage Foundation. It was originally built as an A-4D (c/n 11366) and flew with the US Navy as 142112. It is now painted as 148609 in markings of VA-76, based on USS Bon Homme Richard. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Dino Cattaneo.

used on jackets and helmets during the 1989 cruise aboard
the USS Carl Vinson.
High resolution replacement files for the stock VF-111 Sundowners
200 F-14A. Pilots and main fuselage art work updated to the Miss
Molly version.
The VF-111 Sundowners squadron was part of the west coast
carrier group based mainly near Japan and the S/E Asian coast.

File Description:
TBD-1 Devastator MIDWAY T-5, June 1942. For the B24 Guy's Overhaul Model. The make-up of this skin was possible through viewing a photo of the "T-5" of the Torpedo Squadron Eight, that was taken on the launching deck of the USS Hornet (VT-8) on June 4, 1942. All of the 15 TBDs that were launched in this group found their target--the IJN's Kaga, but even with their success, all were shot down. Enjoy!

cfs2/Brewster F2A-2 (Buffalo) #14 Bu No 1419 VF-2 USS Lexington CV-2, 1940 Painted over thicko's F2A-3 Model. Delivered to the CV-2 (with the VF-2) October 25, 1940. The "E" which adornes the sides, is for excellence. The VF-2 of this era was known as the Flying Chiefs. The Flying Chiefs were a squadron of non-coms (Navy Chiefs) pilots. This texture set represents one of four E-2C operated by the US Navy's VAW-123 "Screwtops" attached to Carrier Air Wing One on board the USS Enterprise (CVN 65) during the 2003-04 Mediterranean Cruise. This zip file contains only the textures that are unique to this scheme. You will also need the original "FSX: Steam Edition - Grumman E-2C Hawkeye Add-On" files. Repaint by Frank Safranek using paint kit by Virtavia Pty Ltd.
