Weather Theme Spring Fine and Cool

File Description:
This theme will provide you with clear cool conditions and variable winds in the NNE (5 -20 degrees) dependent upon your altitude. Many themes have a focus on cloud/storm conditions or specific wind types but wanting to have clear cool conditions with some varying winds it seemed to me that one should be created. This is based on a metar that displayed such conditions. Ground temp is 57F (14 C) and at about 24000 feet it is around -10F (-23 C). Contrails (vapour trails) are well in evidence.

Canadian and Northern USA Winter Flying

File Description:
This is an expanded version of a previous post a year ago, and stretches from east of Quebec City through Quebec, Ontario, and Manitoba, and now also through Saskatchewan, and into Alberta (past Calgary). There is also a northern area roughly centered on Hudson Bay. The exact coverages are given in the notes. All rivers and lakes within the area will "freeze" and allow ski planes to land, or even wheeled planes come to that. And it is not permanent, when you want to go back to floats just "untick" it in the FS library, and it will melt. The area covered crosses into the US too, down to around 45 degrees north, so that means most of Montana, all of North Dakota, half of Minnesota, and some of Wisconsin, Michigan etc. It seemed silly to stop at the border. Ultimate Terrain is highly recommended, so that there will actually be the right lakes and rivers ready to freeze.

File Description:
FSX and FS2004 DH 106 Comet 1 and 2. The worlds first jetliner. The Comet 1 entered sevice with BOAC in 1952, initially on the route from London to Johannesburg. This package includes liveries for BOAC, Air France, UAT, Canadian Pacific and RCAF Comet 1's, and BOAC and RAF Comet 2's. Model by Jens B. File Description:
FSX and FS9 Pober Pixie. A single seat open cockpit home build parasol wing monoplane.The EAA launched "Project Econoplane" in the 1970's to develop an aircraft with high fuel economy that would therefore be affordable for it's members to operate.
