CLS Airbus A330-300 RR Engine China Eastern Airlines Special Livery "www.people.cn", registration number B-6126. On July 10, 2012, this plane was departing from Taipei Taoyuan to Shanghai Pudong when it suffered from bird strike on initial climb of runway 23R. Luckily, 15 crew members took the 284 passengers to the ground with the remaining engine 15 minutes after the strike, all unhurt.

File Description:
This fix corrects the engine thrust and rate of climb for the Las Vegas Air Legacy. Problems of stall would occur with a rate of climb of over 1500 feet a minute (default was 1800 feet a minute). Now corrected is the engine thrust and default rate of climb is 3000 a minute, accurate to the real thing. lva_legacy_jets.zip is required from this site first!

Before you download this update make sure you have installed "new_vc10_panel_part_1.zip" and "new_vc10_panel_part_2.zip" first.
This update concentrates mostly on two areas. The Engine Fire System and cabin temperature. The Engine Fire System has been extensively modified and is fully operational. It is as realistic as possible allowing you to do both practice fire drills and "real" fire drills. If you encounter a multiple engine fire it will require consumate piloting skill, even on the VC10!! To help you I have redone the speed reference placard.
In the previous release the cabin temperature control was not functioning correctly. Now it is.

File Description:
Ever get tired of either having smoke come out of your engines all the time or none at all. Here is a solution for you. The gauge toggles the smoke system on and off based on the N1 percent for engine 1. It activates at 70 percent and shuts off below it giving the illusion of a heavily taxed engine in use.
This is a simple gauge to simulate a jet engine smoke trail when the engines rpm is above 70%. Can be used with any aircraft that has a smoke system. No effects are included in the upload, just the xml gauge.
