Canton GP 20

File Description:
Tim Court (whom also did the Canton track texture and Blue Arrow's Severn Valley and is also known for being the tech support guy for PI Engineering) has graciously donated a GP20 for the Canton package written by Richard Garber for All Aboard. Tim's exquisite model is gorgeous in detail and looks fantastic on the Canton route. Marv Keur adjusted the engine file to be compatible with the Canton Rollingstock Ver 2 package available for Canton. It's a winning combination with great looks and great performance! Easy to install. Consist included.

DME for ILS 25L+R at Aerosoft's Mega Airport Frankfurt X

File Description:
From July 2010 on the ILS for RWY 25L and 25R in Frankfurt are equipped with a DME. In former times, pilots needed to set the DME "FRD" separately on NAV2 receiver. This is now obsolete. Aerosoft's update 1.04 does adjust the ILS Frequencies of RWY 25L + R, but does not reflect the DME issue. The delivered correction BGL makes the Mega Airport Frankfurt compatible with the most current approach chart. Prerequisites: MS Flight Simulator X and Aerosoft Mega Airport Frankfurt X. This addon of course does not contain the Aerosoft scenery itself!

Greek NavAids Fix - Version 4

File Description:
Some VORs that were wrong by MS are fixed and two important new VORs are added. It leaves all Hellenic scenery addons intact (no global exclude files). The new KRO and ATV VORs are needed for the approaches and departures to the new Athens Venizelos LGAV airport. If you want to fly into Greece IFR, this is a file you need. This scenery disables also the now closed old Athens Hellenikon LGAT airport navaids. Updated version includes even more fixed beacons plus two new ILS's at Thessaloniki Makedonia LGTS and Nea Anghialos AFB LGBL.

Random Failure v1.0

File Description:
This is a random failure generator for MS Flight Simulator 2002 and 2004. It relies on Flight Simulator's built-in failure system, but does not requires the failures to be "planned" each time you start a flight. When Random Failure is running, just expect one or several failures to happen at any time, with a configurable probability. Random Failure is currently able to generate the following failures : altimeter, attitude indicator, mag compass, fuel indicators, direction indicator, vertical speed indicator, ADF, NAVs, COMs, transponder, first engine, pitot, vacuum and electrics. Needs FSUIPC (registered for FS2004).

File Description:
When you are using MS Flight Simulator (FS9), there comes a time when you will need to use different configurations. For a commercial airliner the settings will be different than from a sailplane or any other. Each time you need to access and tweak different settings in FS9. In order to save time, I had the idea of creating a small app, easy to use and quick, that will allow you to save up to 9 different configurations. It becomes then easy to switch from one environment to the other in a efficient manner.

Connecting to VATSIM - HTML Version

File Description:
Here is a tutorial for beginners who want to connect to VATSIM, but dont know how to. This is my updated HTML version taken from my MS Word file (on avsim: cnctvatsim.zip). Special notice inside for all VAs etc who wish to re-distribute it for pilots. Images included for easy-to-understand steps. Now included are links to the software, and a few minor mistakes have been corrected. You have to extract the HTML file and folder to a temporary location for it to work (for Images to appear). Good luck!

LAGO Tornado "Miss Behavin"

File Description:
This is my first attempt at repainting a military aircraft for MS FS2004. It requires the original Tornado model by LAGO. Original desert textures by LAGO, modified for this aircraft by me. This aircraft is based on one on display at the USAF museum in Dayton, Ohio. It flew with the RAF's 17 Squadron from Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, where it sported desert camouflage and the name Miss Behavin'. The aircraft is currently painted as an aircraft assigned to 617 Squadron. It was presented to the museum in October 2002 as a donation from the RAF.
