File Description:
If you are tired of drooling over the FS2004 DC-3 Panel bitmap, but don't have the considerable computing power that program requires, here is a DC-3 panel that uses the FS2004 bitmap, with gauges for FS2002. Gauges are in appropriate places, are huge, like in FS2004, and the panel gets very high frame rates. With gauges by Arne Bartels, Kevin Trinkle and James Underwood, the panel also uses the very best of aviation photography. The big, aluminal wings were sharply shot by Thomas Andre Hjelman and the beautiful engines by George Canciani. The cabin was taken by Ben Wang, and is populated by 30s celebs, like Garbo, Bogart and Bacall, Cooper, Lamarr, and more. Authentic Douglas yoke by Mike of AirNikon. Everything is on the main panel, except for the default Garmin GPS, and the default Radio Stack. Altogether, some great photographers have made this Val-U-Prop panel very realistic.

File Description:
Accurate rendition of the KSAT airport. Includes accuarate gate numbering and locations for all airlines serving the airport as well as assigned cargo areas and parking for general aviation aircraft. This is my continuing series of doing airports that have been neglected by both MS and the community. Hopefully this will enhance flying into this airport for those of you that frequent it. Terminal space was mostly satisfactory even though not shaped correctly in some instances. Every gate, however, is present and correctly numbered and airlines assigned to the right gates based on the SAT airport website. American and Southwest seem to be the dominant carriers to this airport both offering extensive intra Texas service. I will be continuing to do mid sized aiports accross the US and then probably do some updates to my original Central America and Caribbean afcads. One for the St. Thomas airport in the US Virgin Islands should be up within 24 hours as well. Enjoy flying Texas!

Few people realize that Santa Monica Airport, where the venerable Douglas DC-3 first flew on 17th December 1935, was named after Santa Klaus and his wife Monica. The Man In Red was quick to spot the benefits of undertaking his yearly mission in a mode of transportation ideally suited to the task, and was one of Douglas' first customers. "Hallmark Cards and Thomas Kincade can keep their reindeer and chimneys", he declared. "I'm going with Pratt and Whitney. Fuel me up, elf". And so it is today. 70 years later, if you look up into the sky on Christmas Eve ... there's every chance you'll get hit in the eye by a plummeting box, should any of Monica's hand-sewn parachutes fail to open. Based on the default DC-3, with parachute present delivery effect adapted from the work of Pierino Primavesi. Also features Christmas lights on the cabin top. Merry Christmas to all!

NASA TU-144LL: TU-144D aircraft (CCCP-77114) converted to a flying laboratory for NASA with four Kuznetsov NK-321 afterburning turbofan engines and re-registered RA-77114. The aircraft underwent many upgrades and modifications in its conversion to the "LL" Flying Laboratory, including the installation of more powerful NK-321 augmented-turbofan engines that were originally produced for the Tupolev TU-160 Blackjack bomber. NASA successfully used this aircraft to help in designing the U.S. Space Shuttle. She is no longer flying, nor are any other Soviet versions other than the TU-160. This model represents the maximum test payload and fuel for test flights, and includes real world engine/aero dynamics provided by NASA and further employed in this converted model (cosmetics are original). | FSX/P3D Aero Virgin Islands DC-3 1983 |

This is a repaint of the DC-3 in Aero Virgin Islands colors. The freeware DC-3 (C-47) by Manfred Jahn is needed for this repaint. Aero Virgin Islands began operations in the spring of 1977. The fleet was basically all DC-3s. Their route network consisted of flights to St. Thomas, and Saint Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, and San Juan, in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico-based airline Prinair was the company’s main competitor until their bankruptcy in 1984. Prinair’s failure gave the opportunity for Aero Virgin to be more involved in the region. However, the airline faltered as its aging fleet of DC-3s got many problems, which led to them virtually being unusable. Then, the total destruction of the DC-3 fleet occurred when Hurricane Hugo struck in September 1989. This is a repaint of N28346, which was destroyed in that Hurricane. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested on P3D v3. It should also work on FSX & FSX-SE.

File Description:
Val-U-Prop is a rogue airline based in Bloomington, Indiana, that flies everything from VIPs to sheep manure anyplace and anytime. VP's motto is "No job too small; No fee too large," and our DC-3's, DC-4's, DC-6's and DC-8's can be seen hedge-hopping into various obscure airports throughout the world. This aircraft is an all-aluminum re-paint of the fabulous DC-3 OH-LCH by Jan Visser, Erik Ellis, Roy Chaffin, Ian Roper and Bill Rambow, to which FS2002 lights have been added. It has military capability, including machine guns and NUCLEAR/GPS/JDAM guided bomb launch. Panel includes everything on main panel, except for GPS and (optional) default radios, so there is no tabbing. The very aluminal wing views were shot by Thomas Klein, and the vintage C-47 cabin was photographed by Tom Turner. Gauges by James Underwood, Ernie Kennedy and Dai Griffiths. | Ontario Small Fields in Canada: #7 Lucan CPS4 |

This is the seventh in a series of small airfields in southern Ontario Canada, Lucan CPS4; plus revised AI and parking for #6 Nixon CNX8 to include a crop spray plane (the Grumman 164) which I have just identified from a photograph; plus a note re an addition required to the different crop spray aircraft (the AT802) config file so that it parks correctly at St Thomas CYQS.
Lucan is 15 miles north of London Ontario, and 20 miles southeast of Lake Huron. The airfield is the base for a small crop spraying business and has a grass runway of 3,100 feet aligned 09/27, and with lighting. The overhead cables that previously imposed a 550 feet threshold displacement on the runway 09 approach (up to and including 2010) have now been buried. The lighting is owner-controlled and cannot be turned on from the air. Fuel and oil is available. The crop spray plane is a Grumman G164A Ag-Cat, which was manufactured in the 1970's and remains in use with a lot of owner-operators.

This version of the AN-225 is almost too accurate, yet as easy to fly as the real "Dream" it was designed to be. Everything has been incorportated in this version in order to make this the best of the best AN-225 versions for FSX ever produced. This work required well over 50 flight test hours and thousands of dollars worth of research and skill. It's all free, and offered for educational use. Anyone who has flown the previous versions will see a huge improvement in all aspects now offered in this fully refurbished model, based entirely on modern design data and aerodynamic details offered only recently.
