Korean Air Lines Douglas DC-4 (1960s) Download

File Description:
This is a repaint of Korean Air Lines Douglas DC-4 of 1960s for Jens B. Kristensen's DC-4 V2.1. This color scheme was first introduced in 1962, when Korea Korean National Airlines (former National Airline of Korea) merged with government owned Korean Air Lines. This paint scheme was used until all the Douglas fleet (DC-3 and DC-4s) were phased out in mid 1970s. This aircraft(HL4003) was on lease from Japan, and returned at 1963. After return it was sold to Ansett-ANA and finally converted to Carvair ATL-98. It operated for a 'Brooks Fuel' until 2003, But unfortunately crashed near McGrath, AK, 2007.

Braniff Douglas DC-3 (N25672) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3/C47. This paint depicts (more or less) the DC3 , N25672 in the Braniff livery. The original model had wing-registration and Braniff-text on the wings , due to the limitations of the mapping of this model ,this could not be reproduced. As Braniff was the first ( or at least one of the first) airliners making commercial flights with the Douglas DC3, this was a paint wich had to be done ( I was told ;-). How to install: Just unzip Braniff.zip to a temp folder and start reading the Readme.PDF carefully Enjoy, Leen "Flybike" de Jager ......................visit www.flybike-paints.nl

USAF Douglas C-124C Military Airlift Command Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Douglas C-124C in USAF colors. The freeware Douglas C-124C for FSX by Jens Kristensen (JBK) is needed for this repaint. The Military Airlift Command (MAC) replaced MATS in January 1966. All MATS aircraft became part of the new command. This is a repaint of 51-5198 when it was under the Military Airlift Command. Two years after the formation of MAC, March 6, 1968, this aircraft was damaged beyond repair in a ground accident at Hickam AFB, Hawaii. There were no casualties. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should also work on FSX, and P3Dv1-3.

Douglas DC-3 Santair Download

File Description:
Few people realize that Santa Monica Airport, where the venerable Douglas DC-3 first flew on 17th December 1935, was named after Santa Klaus and his wife Monica. The Man In Red was quick to spot the benefits of undertaking his yearly mission in a mode of transportation ideally suited to the task, and was one of Douglas' first customers. "Hallmark Cards and Thomas Kincade can keep their reindeer and chimneys", he declared. "I'm going with Pratt and Whitney. Fuel me up, elf". And so it is today. 70 years later, if you look up into the sky on Christmas Eve ... there's every chance you'll get hit in the eye by a plummeting box, should any of Monica's hand-sewn parachutes fail to open. Based on the default DC-3, with parachute present delivery effect adapted from the work of Pierino Primavesi. Also features Christmas lights on the cabin top. Merry Christmas to all!
