File Description:
This release contains texture updates and corrections for Japan Airlines and Japan Air Commuter. Contents of the packs include textures only. Aircraft models are by PAI, AIA, and FSP and can be obtained at the associated sites. This release adds the JAC wing logos to the Saab aircraft and corrects all of the JAL Old Color liveries by turning around the head of the crane on the tail logo so that it faces the correct direction. This was not observed during initial quality control checks. I apologize for this inconvenience. For installation, this is a one-to-one replacement of the original texture files. | Island in the Sky Douglas C-47 Skytrain USAF 'Corsair' |

File Description:
Based on original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set is a representation of the fictional USAF C-47 flown by John Wayne as Dooley in the 1953 classic film, "Island in the Sky". It is intended to complement an article written by Harold "Farmboyzim" Zimmer for the December 2007 issue of "Computer Pilot" magazine. Harold's review of "Island in the Sky" can be found at http://farmboyzimsflightsims.com/IslandintheSky_film_review.html. The texture set requires the base R4D-6/DC-3A package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org, together with two subsequent free C-47 enhancements to that product. MBB / Eurocopter/ Airbus Helicopters Bo-105 by Günther Kraemer in Western Power VH-XRX paint scheme. Western Power is the State owned Electrical Utility of Western Australia, and uses this helicopter for infrastructure inspection and logistic/utility work. Due to limitations of texture map / model, this is a close representation and not an exact livery. Textures in 32 bit. Texture only. The Eurocopter Bo-105 by Günther Kraemer is required for this to work. Feedback / suggestions always welcome. Feel free to edit / add to / modify / do what you want with my files. This is FREEWARE created for fun for anyone to use how they choose.

New scenery for Islip/MacArthur Airport. This is a complete, ground up remake for the Long Island airport. Served mainly by Southwest Airlines, this mainline airfield is chock full of rich history and significance. It is also one of those neglected airports that could use some FS attention. The scenery is 100% accurate and very realistic. You will enjoy the experience.
Update: There was a typo in the readme file in the original download concerning correcting a texture issue with the terminal windows. If you have already downloaded version 1.0, and you are having no texture issues, you do not need this update. Only the readme file has been updated.

Realistic xenon lights with complete newly designed textures, now in four different grades of detail and brightness. This texture pack adds a special realistic xenon light for all aircraft, offering a much better view to the runway or taxiway. This texture package changes the default lights from FSX to the modern xenon look. Easy installation manual and previews and textures for restoring back to the FSX default lights are included. For FSX users; You may have to UNCHECK "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" under the Aircraft - Exterior Settings in FSX
to make any FS9-based model visible during the day!
Texture quality; 32Bit with alpha. FSX Native: DDS DXT5 with alpha. FS9 Native: BMP DXT3 with alpha.
FSX Light Fix included in the DDS night texture.
Included repaint is for the following model; TFS_A380 from 'The Fruit Stand'.
