| Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (Part 9) |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (Part 9). The B-52 first flew in 1952, the last one was built in 1961, and there are still over 90 of the original 744 airframes either in front-line service or in a ready-reserve status. With extensive avionics upgrades starting this year, the USAF plans on using the B-52s until 2045, 93 years after first flight. The aircraft has an impressive resume, having served in five shooting wars and was the backbone of Strategic Air Command's nuclear deterrent air component during almost forty years of Cold War service.
Jake Burrus started this AI traffic model a couple of years ago, and I was honored to pick up the project and get it across the finish line, with no small amount of help from Mike MacIntyre, as usual. This is a 7-LOD AI traffic model representing the Stratofortress in all of its operational service. This is part 9, showcasing the B-52G used from 1987 to the end of 1991, excluding the Gulf War; with a total of 28 repaints. Also included are optional models for VFR traffic use. Aircraft model by Jake Burrus and Mike Pearson, master textures and repaints by Mike Pearson, flight dynamics by Mike MacIntyre. Please read the extensive documentation contained in the file.

| Jerusalem |
|
File Description:
FS2004 Scenery - Jerusalem. The third part of Israel
scenery covering the mountain range of Samaria, Judea
and the cities of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. The scenery
is made in the highest detail with new terrain textures
and it shows all main roads, secondary roads, junctions,
rail roads, vegetation and residential areas with a
population of 1,000 and above. The scenery is enhanced
with over 300 structures and buildings made in Gmax.
Among them the Old City of Jerusalem with its walls and
gates, Mount Temple, the Wailling Wall, the city Citadel,
the Holy Sepulchre and all other major churches and
monasteries of Jerusalem, including the Church of
Nativity in Bethlehem and the churches on Mount Olive
and Mount Zion. The scenery also covers in high detail
the New City of Jerusalem, with all landmark structures
and buildings such as the Knesset (Israel's parliament),
museums, the Supreme Court, Yad-Vashem (the holocaust
memorial), Hadasa hospital, Teddi soccer stadium, all
hotels and highrise buildings and much more. There are
also landmarks outside Jerusalem such as the Latrun
Trappist monastery and the nearby Armor Corps Memorial.
All major structures are based on real measurements and
photos taken from the ground. The textures are all
specially made for this scenery. The scenery is enhanced
with night lighting to enable easy VFR navigation by
night.

| FSX Settings Editor Version 1.1 |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Update! New version fixes WideViewAspect setting not working in the earlier version. It also lets you see the last profile that was applied. Please uninstall the earlier version, and then install this.
FSX Settings Editor lets you create fsx.cfg profiles for different scenarios which you can quickly apply to your fsx.cfg file. Create different settings profiles and switch between them quicker than ever before. Some of the scenarios for which profiles can be created:
- Flying Rural Areas with Light GA Aircraft (Graphics can be set High)
- Flying Dense Urban Areas (Graphics can be lowered to improve FPS)
- Different profiles for flying VFR, IFR, max weather, min weather max terrain etc
- Testing out different settings to achieve max FPS with acceptable eye-candy
I created this tool to help me quickly change my FSX settings to the type of flight I intend to perform. Manually editing the fsx.cfg file, keeping separate copies of fsx.cfg file for different scenarios, or using the limited FSX save config functionality proved cumbersome and time-consuming.
Please backup your fsx.cfg before using this tool. Comments, issues, questions or suggestions are welcome.
Requires Microsoft .Net 4.0 Client Profile Installed. To Install: Run the setup and launch the program from your desktop. Email: [email protected]

| KEFD -Ellington 2025 Refresh FSX (Circa 2006-2010)- Johnson Space Center Houston |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is a complete refresh in 2025 for the entire Houston Bay Area and KEFD. This is a freeware update for KEFD, published 2025 for FSX, and includes CVX landclass and ADEX.bgl files for KEFD and surrounding greater area, circa 2006-2010. File includes very accurate landclass fixes for the surrounding Bay Area of Houston, and I added tons of VFR scenery objects, featuring Johnson Space Center Houston. Including:
-- Pasadena water treatment facility (Rwy 17)
-- NASA buoyancy lab
-- Pasadena shopping center off of Beltway 8
-- San Jacinto College
-- Pasadena convention center
-- Johnson Space Center Houston
-- Baybrook mall area
-- storage units across from Rwy 35Landclass fixes are extremely accurate, as I used satellite imagery from circa 2006-2010 era. This was both an era when the 147th FW was active, and there was a lot less buildings in the era. -- In addition:
-- I added NASA T38 and F16 parking with ramps
-- Straightened out the very crooked and inaccurate runways and taxis from the other freeware
-- added lighting to KEFD ramps and parking
-- added parking for coast guard MH 65 and helicopter parking for user.
-- Landclass fixes for the barren Spring-cypress greater area (KIAH-KDWH area).I hope you enjoy, north and southeast Houston no longer look like farms and fields with sparce patches of random houses. -DJN

| Albian CAL4, Firebag CFG6, Horizon CYNR, Mildred Lake CER4, and Muskeg Tower CFW4 in Alberta Canada |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
All of these airfields are in or close to the Athabasca Tar Sands in Alberta, modelled here along with the airfields. The tar sands workings extend along the Athabasca River for over 60 miles north of Fort McMurray in northern Alberta, and the huge cleared areas, surface mining, tailings ponds, and refineries along the Athabasca are right up there as Alberta's biggest VFR landmark. One look at a tailings pond (sea? ocean?) makes it clear that someone was worried about public reaction to the size. As well as the surface mining there are also large areas where there is underground extraction with a grid of dirt tracks between equipment installations. There are four airfields associated with the tar sands. Horizon CYNR is a public service airport operated by Canadian Natural Reources Ltd. Mildred Lake CER4 is owned and operated by Syncrude. Albian CAL4 is owned and operated by Shell Canada, and Firebag CFG6 is owned and operated by Suncor Energy. The fifth airfield is the nearby Muskeg Tower CFW4, which is there solely to support folks during their fire watch in the 120 feet tall tower. There is also a sixth airfield east of Horizon across the river and still visible, Bitumount; this is no longer in use. There is Ai included involving Canadian North, North Cariboo, Wasaya, HTS, First Air, Suncor, etc.

| Delta Airlines Boeing 767-332/ER '2007 C/S' |
|
File Description:
N125DL (cn 200), version 1. I started this repaint the day after Delta unveiled their new (yet another) livery, but never finished it, until it was requested by an user. Since it's a simple 'Eurowhite' livery, I spend most of the time customizing the kit, adding rivets and de-pressurization panels along the fuselage and tail section. I also threw out the low res photoreal engine textures and hand painted them all over again. I even added in the arch shaped rivets and panels around the windows in such a way it looks like some of them are 'punching' through some parts of the paint job, which you can see in the third screenshot. As always, the paint job is weathered even though the actual plane is pretty clean at the moment (see the difference between the stock kit and this repaint in the first screenshot). Installation is easy ; just use the repaint manager. Level-D (LDS) 767-300 package required. More info about our repaints on www.mcphatstudios.net. Happy landings, enjoy the paint.
