Ceci est la version au format Adobe PDF du manuel traduit en français, destinée à être imprimé. Il ne contient pas, bien entendu, les treize vidéos d'instruction mais contient un résumé écrit de ces films. Traduction effectuée par François Mavel sous les auspices du MAAM à partir du manuel d'origine de Bill Rambow. Le cd-rom du R4D / DC-3 peut être acheté en ligne sur le site du Mid-Atlantic Air Museum à l'adresse suivante: www.maam.org. ----This is an Adobe PDF format version of the translated manual, suitable for printing. It does not, of course, include the 13 instructional videos, but does feature a written summary of the films. Produced under MAAM auspices from Bill Rambow's original manual by François Mavel. The R4D / DC-3 CD-ROM may be obtained from the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's Online Store at www.maam.org.

| P-51D Mustang "Worry Bird" N951M |
|
File Description:
This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters P-51D Mustang, in the markings of "Worry Bird," N951M, owned by Michael George. This aircraft's records show that it joined the 8th AF in April of 1945 and then returned back to New Jersey in July of 1945. Following WWII the aircraft served in a number of Air National Gaurd units before being purchased surplus by William Kelbaugh in 1958 - who literally saved the aircraft from the scrappers. The aircraft then passed through a few owners until it was purchased in 1978 by Jack Rose who restored the aircraft to WWII stock configuration and painted it as "Worry Bird." In 1990 Michael George purchased the aircraft and registered it N951M. Based in Springfield, IL, Michael George has been flying this absolutely beautiful aircraft to numerous air shows ever since.

This texture represents "Big Gas Bird" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 385th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.The B-17G started seeing action with the 385th in November, 1943 and continued until the end of the war. The Checkerboard group markings on the tail were adopted in February, 1945.

Pour utiliser cette mise � jour, il faut obligatoirement avoir d�©j� install�© les sc�¨nes du Qu�©bec contenues dans Scenes_du_Quebec_2k4.zip (sur AVSIM). Inclus aussi une mise � jour des �©l�©vations de terrain (mesh - lod09) de la province de Qu�©bec (qc09_2K4a.zip, qc09_2K4b.zip, qc09_2K4c.zip, qc09_2K4d.zip sur AVSIM). This freeware AI package, produced by Miljan Korac in conjunction with Military AI Works , features the Beech 1900D, C-295M, C-130H/H-30 and IL-76/78 aircraft of the Algerian Air Force based at Boufarik Air Base (DAAK). Algeria is a user of both western and eastern technologies in its Air Force the fleet makes flights all over the world but mostly in Europe. Algeria still keeps its Air Force numbers a secret so data for this package was based on best available information but is not intended to be 100% accurate. This package also includes custom made scenery for Boufarik Air Base (DAAK) including a custom made gate guard Mig-21 model also by Miljan Korac. Credits: Miljan Korac, HTAI, RATS Group, John Stinstrom, Nick Needham, Graham King, Stewart Pearson, Mike Guenthner, Nick Black, Michael MacIntyre and Anthony Lynch. Updated version (v2).

This texture represents "Ole Doodle Bug" one of the B-17G Flying Fortresses of the 385th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force.The B-17G started seeing action with the 385th in November, 1943 and continued until the end of the war. The Checkerboard group markings on the tail were adopted in February, 1945.
"Ole Doodle Bug" assigned to the 551st Squadron. This aircraft returned to the USA.

This texture represents "Meat Hound" from the 303rd BG. The B-17G started seeing action with the 303rd in October, 1943 and continued until the end of the war. Natural Metal finish was the standard from about March, 1944, but many planes were left in OD since stripping the paint was determined to be not worth the effort. The high-visibility red triangle group marking was adopted in August, 1944.
