Pacific Northwest Airports 1960

File Description:
We've produced this scenery to provide new GMAX terminals, taxiways, buildings and details as they were around 1960 for Seattle, Washington and Portland and Salem, Oregon. I've also created 34 smaller classic airports in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington then served by airlines. These do not include custom GMAX terminals but use instead a default or addon library object for the terminal, since I did not have photos. Many thanks to Jason, who provided most of the photos and information used in this project, as well as the Jantzen Beach amusement park on an island in the river and most of KPDX except the terminal. Tom created the rest.

Kenmore Air Harbor Inc. SPB, Kenmore, Washington (S60)

File Description:
Kenmore's home base is at the northern end of Lake Washington, northeast of Seattle. The base has been there since Kenmore was started in 1945. It is squashed up between a marina and a cement plant and if you want to know more about it then read the very entertaining book called "Success On The Step" by C. Martin Faure, with a foreword by Harrison Ford. You may already know that he is one of their more famous clients. This goes with the two scenery files for Lake Union, posted a while ago. For sure you need Ultimate Terrain, as otherwise the lake won't be in the right place. UT for Canada and Alaska may be sufficient, as it stretches south of the border, but I've never tried it without UT for both Canada and the US.

Paints and Flightplans for Trans Air, a carrier based in Honolulu. This pack represents the three Shorts SD360 charter cargo aircraft of the fleet. Flightplans for Australian Summer (northern winter) 2008-09 in compiled or raw text forms.

KCOS - Colorado Springs Municipal Airport/Peterson AFB - Colorado Springs, CO

File Description:
Following the tragic passing of Shelly Johnson, I was contacted by Dakota Smith (Smith Graphics) about upgading Colorado Springs Municipal Airport for the VATSIM Fly-In on November 15, 2008 in Shelly's honor. Dakota did the "afcad" for the airport, packing in as many parking spaces as possible to accomodate the Fly-In attendees. He then sent the file to me and I replaced most of the default buildings and added many more. I adjusted some aprons, added others, added some roads, and static scenery objects. Please note that the "afcad" was designed for the Fly-In and does not provide accurate airline assignments, military parking, etc. As stated above, Dakota packed in as many parking spaces as possible, and assigned many gates to Continental, Shelly's favorite airline. A second "afcad" will be released by Dakota Smith the day after the Fly-In that will have more realistic parking.

North American F-86E/F Sabre FSX "Upgrade"

File Description:
A collection of various fixes for SectionF8's F-86E/F Sabre for operations in FSX. Modified glass textures for FSX SP2 compatibility; disabled exhaust and smoke effects to improve rendering performance; new, FSX-style texture management (based on texture.cfgs and .dds textures); fixed radios in the VC and more, like automated conversion of the Sabre's textures into .dds format. This update does NOT CONTAIN A NEW, NATIVE FSX MODEL, it's basically still a portover from FS9! A separate, full FSX model of the Sabre will released by SectionF8 once it's done! DC-3 Faucett Peru Virtual

File Description:
These repaints were designed and created specifically for 'DC-3 FAUCETT' by César Renteria P. and Ian Richardson, with much appreciated input from Andy Hatcher, Trevor Morson and 'DC-3 faucett' members. Otherwise, it's all down to Microsoft for giving us such a spectacular sim in FS2004. Please bear in mind that these files are reworked as freeware from Microsoft originals, and thus are only of any use to users who have purchased FS2004; they must not, under any circumstances, be bundled in commercial products of any kind or included in any package that is charged for or sold. This is a complete file, also you can add a new panel if you want.

T-6A Texan II of TAW-5, NAS Whiting Field

File Description:
This is a repaint of the IRIS excellent T-6A Texan II. These textures represent a fictitious scheme of a T-6A of Training Air Wing 5 at NAS Whiting Field, Florida. This variation has the orange/white scheme that has long been a part of the Navy training aircraft. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the IRIS "Pro Series T-6/A Texan II" FSX payware package.
