CFS2 & CFS Bullet Impact Stereo Sound FX : New Upgrade of Rnd_imo.wav

File Description:
Here is an UpDATED replacement for your Rnd_Imp.wav sound file, with the added secondary metal on metal ping & whiz of bullets as they hit, bounce & rip around your aircraft. It's A Big Difference from the default "thud only" sound you get with CFS2 & CFS. With this upgrade you will notice much better amplification & richer harmonics for a sound that varies more dynamically with each bullet impact. Stereo Balance in this version has also been much improved from Rnd_Imp in my 1st MetalRnd.zip. This sound file has been tested & is completely compatible with both CFS2 & CFS1. If you have CFS2, please check out the NearMISS.zip file for my NEW "STEREO" Bullet.wav UpGRADE. Note that in CFS2, BULLET.wav Compliments RND_IMP.wav.

U.S. Armed Forces Boeing CH-47D Chinook Version 2.0

File Description:
This is a major upgrade to my recently released CH-47D Chinook U.S. Armed Forces file for FSX. This file has new replacement repaint textures and also incudes the original CH-47D Chinook model by Mark Adams & Tom Woods. You do not need to download the old version in order to use this file - no other files are necessary. This upgrade contains vast improvements including newly compressed texture files for significantly improved performance and space savings with minimal impact to image quality. All repaints now include actual unit markings and improved olive drab color. Pilots also now have appropriate unit markings. The two Army Chinooks carry unit markings for the 1st Cavalry, 2nd Battalion, 227th Air Regiment - this unit is currently active and provides troop and equipment transport and medivac for the 1st Cavalry - Air Mobile. The Marine Chinooks now carry markings for the 3rd Marine Air Wing. Special thanks to Delizisis Thanasis and Delizisis Panagiots for use of their textures as a painting template. The Original Model belongs to Mark Adams & Tom Woods, the reworked Flight Dynamics to Marwan Latif, the panel and the textures to Delizisis Thanasis and Delizisis Panagiots. Radio Range for Milton Shupd D18S Upgrade v0.1 FIX

File Description:
Please place this panel.cfg file in the panel.vc folder (Flight Simulator 9 / Aircraft / D18SVC / panel.vc) and and overwrite when asked and that will fix the problem with the side views being blacked out while in the 2D cockpit.

Nam Phong Royal Thai Air Force Base (Scenery Upgrade)

File Description:
A model of Nam Phong RTAFB as it appeared in mid-1972 when much of it was still under construction. Nam Phong was originally an obscure Thai Air Force training facility located about 60 miles south-southeast of the large USAF/Air America base at Udorn. In response to increasing NVA attacks in the Central Highlands of South Vietnam, the US Marine Corps transferred three fighter/attack squadrons (known as "Task Force Delta")from Da Nang to Nam Phong. A new 10,000 ft. concrete runway was built, and roads, aircraft parking and housing/storage areas were hacked out of the jungle by a joint USN/USMC engineering team. Nam Phong was nicknamed "The Rose Garden" in jest due to the extremely primitive conditions that existed there when the Marines first arrived. The nickname was borrowed from the Marine Corps advertising slogan, "We don't promise you a rose garden", which in turn was inspired by the lyrics of a popular country & western song by Lynn Anderson. The three USMC fighter/attack squadrons that took up permanent residence at Nam Phong were the VMFA-115 "Silver Eagles", the VMFA-232 "Red Devils", and the VMA(AW)-533 "Nighthawks." This enhanced model supercedes the Nam Phong scenery that was uploaded three years ago. It should be compatible with FS 2004. Requires the trees_v3.zip object library by Gerrish Gray.
