Piaggio P-180 v2.0 Download

File Description:
www.mariopilot.6x.to What's new in version 2.0: 1) gMAX re-formatted model: FS-X compatibility, and new animations. 2) Completely new Avionics 100% XML formatted 3) new ultra-fine tuned flight dynamics 4) Hi-res virtual cockpit with 3-D throttles and 3-D virtual cabin. 5) Lots more... Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The Piaggio P-180 Avanti is a Luxury Jetprop. Its design is the result of a "thinking outside the box" project philosophy. It means that building techniques are standard while aerodynamics are unique for it's kind. It features a three lifting surface design, laminar flow wing and twin pusher turboprop configuration. Passenger comfort features the possiiblity of standing in feet inside the plane, low noise due to pusher propellers and "Pininfarina" designed arrangement. Performances are unique too, cruising at 395 KTAS (260 KIAS) at 28000 ft, a jet-like speed, being the P-180 a twin turboprop. The result is a 40% reduced operational cost respect to a jet of similar size, and 30% less respect to a similar size turboprop, all at same price of a small Jet. This model is 804 Kbs with c.a. 19000 polygons in c.a.170 assemblies. Features Clickable Dynamic Photortreal VC with Night Lighting, night lighted internals, Photoreal 2D Cockpit, Engine start Effect, advanced FDE, Customizable Payloads. **READ NOTES BEFORE FLYING**(README.TXT, P180_REF.HTM AND P180_CHECK.HTM, also available as reference and checklist in FS kneeboard...) WORKS IN FS9

VAOZ Nashik/Ozar, India Download

File Description:
Googly scenery for Ozar, a small domestic airport located in Nashik (or Nasik), 111 miles from Mumbai (Bombay). Nashik is a fast-expanding city in the Maharashtra state in the Western Ghats located on the western edge of the Deccan peninsula and is known as the Wine Capital of India or Grape City. Owing to its close proximity to Mumbai, the airport has not proved popular as the journey by taxi, bus or rail is not much greater after taking into account check-in times etc. Air Deccan recently withdrew all flights from Ozar and as far as I can establish the only airline now serving Ozar is Jagson Airlines, using Dornier 228 turboprops. There is also a military presence at the east end of the airport. Flight Simulator 2004 has only provided a runway at this airport and this scenery seeks to redress the situation so that you and your "AI" traffic can use the airport. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high quality satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing. You are not obliged to download and install any additional scenery libraries, but to enjoy this scenery in its entirety, you may wish to. It will work fine, with or without.

HCMM - Mogadishu International Airport, Mogadishu/Petrella, Somalia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for HCMM Mogadishu/Petrella, the capital airport of Somalia. Astonishingly, in Flight Simulator 2004 this international airport is depicted as little more than a runway! Whilst in the real world the airport can hardly be described as busy, it is served by the country's sole airline - Jubba Airways, with their wonderful Ilyushin IL-18, and many African and Eastern European operators call by with cargo flights. In fact, the vast proportion of the aircraft seen here are Russian-built.

These scenery files add aprons, taxiways, buildings and other airport features to Flight Simulator's limited representation and allow "AI" traffic to land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. But do watch out for cars on the runway and taxiways as they appear to be regularly used as a by-pass to the perils of driving through the city!

The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look exactly like the real thing.

EVVA Ventspils International, Latvia Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for Ventspils International - Latvia's third largest commercial airport (try not to laugh!) although no facilities other than a runway are provided in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add taxiways, aprons, buildings and other airport features, so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner. The airport serves the city of Ventspils in northwest Latvia and opened as recently as 1975. Owing to changes in the political situation, operations ceased in 1983 but it re-opened in 2000. At present, it is unclear which operators serve the airport - Air Baltic is the claimed contender but there is no evidence in their advertised schedules. It is believed that occasional flights are operated to St Petersburg and Moscow by Russian operators but information is hard to come by. Nevertheless, the airport's own web site (http://www.airport.ventspils.lv/) has figures showing the increasing numbers of passengers passing through the airport, so something must call here! The airport also sees a respectable amount of General Aviation activity and AVGAS has recently been made available. The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. PAIW Wales, Alaska, USA Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Googly scenery for Wales - a small domestic airport on the western coast of Alaska that is poorly provided for in Flight Simulator 2004. These scenery files add taxiways, aprons, buildings and other airport features, so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a realistic manner.

Wales is a small village with a population of just over 150 people, so the facilities at this 4000 foot gravel airstrip are fairly limited. The airport is allocated the ICAO code PAIW, although Microsoft has ignored this in Flight Simulator and uses the IATA ticket code IWK. Wales is served by light aircraft from airlines such as Bering Air, Cape Smythe Air, Frontier Flying Service, and Hageland Aviation Services. You might find it a convenient stopping-off point for a quick trip across to Russia - this is about as close as you can get and a nip across the Bering Strait will find you there in no time.

The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. Goodspeed Airport (42B) - East Haddam, Connecticut Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Goodspeed is a privately owned airfield in East Haddam, Connecticut that operates as a public access general aviation facility. The runway is a short 2120 feet and is carefully placed in a shoreline meadow of the Connecticut river. Surrounded by the dense forests and community, the airport is a tight approach, further hampered by the presence of the East Haddam Bridge, which sits under the runway 14 approach. The airport has limited parking facilities for transient aircraft, and it is not common for visiting aircraft to park in the grass in front of the "terminal". Hanger facilities are provided as well. Nearby is the famous Goodspeed Opera House, established back in the 19th century, the house still has operas other performances regularly.

Features: -High Resolution Ground textures around airport; -Accurate models of all airport buildings; -Detailed taxiways and runways; -Super HD grass and pavement; -Custom aerial imagery for area, including autogen; -Full seasonal textures (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter); -Various "Easter Eggs"; -Deer (at dusk); -Christmas Lights (During the Holiday Season); -Night Textures; -Runway Lights, obstruction lights; -And much more!

CVN68_Carrier_North Sea_V1 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This scenery is based on the great CVN 68 Nimitz carrier model from Javier Fernandez. The scenery shall replace my current CVN 75 scenery in the North Sea. The scenery includes the following scenery elements, objects and dynamic traffic: The carrier CVN 68 Nimitz and a lot of stuff on deck, 2 flying Helicopters over the Carrier, 4 Navy-Destroyers escorting the Carrier, 2 moving Destroyer based on a "Boats Traffic Plan which are traveling around the group, 1 moving Tanker,a Oilrig about 30 nm northwest from the Carrier with a landable Platform !! Seven F-18 Hornets as AI traffic, three F-18 Hornets based on recorded flights. For the re-play of the start and landing traffic, the tool FSRecorder is required. The tool is part of this scenery package. The carrier is built up as an airport with the code " CV68 ". For installation and more info see the documentation inside the zip file. For full carrier operation (catapul/cable catch) you need one of the two tools: RCBCO-30.zip, or ArrCab26.zip both available at the AVSIM lib. CREDIT goes to :Javier Fernandez for his super great carrier model and to Matthias Neusinger for his excellent FSRecorder tool.

Resort Airlines Douglas C-54A (N57670) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This package contains two repaints for Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 V3.0. Featured is the C-54A (modified to DC-4 standard) N57670 of Resort Airlines: one repaint representing the aircraft around 1956, the other at the end of its open air storage in 1961. Resort Airlines Inc (of Washington, DC, and Oakland, CA) was a US non-scheduled carrier that specialised in the operation of inclusive holiday tours to the Caribbean and also in military charter flying (Logair). The airline was operative between 1945 and 1960. Its fleet comprised of Curtiss C-46, Lockheed 1049H Super Constellation and Douglas DC-4/C-54 aircraft. Around 1961-62 five C-54s which had been stored at Oakland for some time, ranging from several months to 6 years, were rescued by Aviation Traders (of Southend and Stansted, England) from the scrapdealer's axe and converted to ATL.98 Carvair car-ferry and cargo aircraft. N57670, which was active with Resort during 1954-1956 only and had been deteriorating during the open air storage, was one of these lucky birds.

These are textures only. You will need Jens B. Kristensen's FSX Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30X.ZIP). Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.
