| KHSV - Updated |
|
File Description:
This is the update of my previous FSX AFCAD for the default airport KHSV (Huntsville-Intl-Jones-Airport) located at Huntsville, Alabama. The AFCAD was modified using ADE v1.37 and includes changes per FAA charts, and as seen from above using Google Earth. The original control tower has been removed, a helipad with night lights and some static aircraft have been added in its place. The real airport does not have a helipad. Also I added a Fire Station and roadways like the real airport. Additional information is included in the AFCAD readme!.txt zip file. This AFCAD has not been tested in Flight Simulator 2004 and you do not need my previous KHSV files for this AFCAD update to work.

| Lockheed Jetstar Prototype |
|
File Description:
FS 2004 Aircraft - The Lockheed Jetstar was the first business jet. A four-engined aircraft, with several engine models installed, the aircraft was in production from 1957 to 1979. It entered service in early 1961. The first two Jetstars were twin engined airplanes, powered by Bristol Siddeley Orpheus turbojet engines. The second was refitted with the four Pratt & Whitney JT12 engines that were installed on all the first Jetstars. Garrett TFE731 turbofans were installed on later airplanes. A total of 204 Jetstars were built by Lockheed in several models. Military versions flew four U.S. Presidents, carrying the Air Force One designation while they were aboard (some jokingly called it Air Force One Half.) This model represents the first two Jetstars. | Culver Cadet |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Here's the 1941 Culver Cadet for FSX. It's a major revision of the Culver Cadet I created back in 2004 for FS9. The improvements are too numerous to list, but I'll at least list a few: Much better flight model--validated by someone with 39 hours of actual Culver Cadet time (me!), better textures (four different Cadets included), full panel, and a detailed virtual cockpit. Pressing "A" cycles between several custom cameras (right seat, 3-point landing over-nose view, gear retraction view). Trackir 5 and/or Ezdoc recommended, to see everything. A 2d panel is also included. Sounds were obtained by recording an actual Cadet in-flight (engine, landing gear manual retraction, etc.). Four different paints included, for four different N numbers.

| Delta Connection - Comair Bombardier CRJ-700ER |
|
File Description:
Textures only. This is a repaint of the POSKY CRJ-700 v3 in Delta Connection Comair 2004 circa colors. The repaint includes a photorealistic tail, winglet reflections, minor dirt marks and detailed warning labels. Comair is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines based in Erlanger, Kentucky, USA, a city near the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport, which serves Cincinnati, Ohio. Comair is one of the world's largest regional airlines and, with over $1 billion in annual revenue, would be considered a major airline carrier except for the fact that its aircraft seat less than 100 people. Operating under the brand name Delta Connection, Comair operates passenger services to a large number of destinations in the USA, Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas.

| De Havilland DH-98 Mosquito (W4072) 105 Sqn GB-D |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the DeHavilland DH98 Mosquito by Dave Garwood, in the colors of W4072 GB-D, a B Mk.IV of 105 squadron. On 25 june 1942, while being loaned to 139 squadron, it was being flown by Flt Lt Bagguley on a night attack on Stade aerodrome near Hamburg. He attacked the town of Dorum, near Bremerhaven. On leaving the target, instead of closing the bombdoors, he accidenatly lowered the flaps. These were torn away due to the speed of over 380 mph, and on arrival back at Horsham St Faith, W4072 overshot the runway, with the right undercarriage collapsing in a ditch. W4072 was delivered to 105 sqn on 27 februari 1942, and took part in the first bomb raid carried out by Mosquito's, when sqn ldr Oekeshott took it to Cologne on 31 May 1942. After the prang in june, W4072 was repaired and flew more missions with 105 sqn. Damaged again in March 1943, she passed to 627 sqn (AZ-Q), but crashed in the North Sea returning from a raid on Frankfurt on 8 january 1944. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Dave Garwood.

| Trois-Rivieres CYRQ |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
Trois-Rivieres Airport (CYRQ) is located near the city of Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada, midway between Quebec and Montreal on the north shore of the St-Lawrence river. It has a large maintenance and painting shop to service aircrafts the class of B737, A320 or equivalent size. This GA airport had its runway (05-23) extended to 9000' so that is can now receive and accomodate the B767.
This scenery developed in GMax, is an exact and realistic representation of the airport. It features 28 detailed buildings including its unique terminal, custom vehicles and much more. From the airport, you can see the flashing strobe lights of the 1200 feet tower located 8 miles NE of the airport; cleary visible night and day which is a very good landmark coming in to land. Another nice landmark is the nearby beautiful Laviolette bridge (if installed from the same author). Take your favorite GA aircraft there for a sightseeing tour or a fishing trip a short distance north of Trois-Rivieres, your executive jet for a business meeting or service your airline jet in the maintenance bays. It is a nice airport to see.
