File Description:
Cyprus Airways had an impressive route network in 1998, however, the vast majority of destinations are served only 1-2x weekly. Still, even with a small fleet, you'll see Cyprus Airways all over Europe and the Middle East, and even in Syria at the time! The airline routed many flights through both PFO and LCA, so there are dozens of weekly flights on the short hop between the two airports. Cyprus Airways was also rather unique at the time by choosing to serve multiple airports in metropolitan areas. For example, in London, Cyprus served LGW, LHR, and STN. In Milan, Cyprus served both MXP and LIN. Cyprus Airways was only operating the A310-200 and A320-200 with no livery variations. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. This is the pack of the new airline Danaus Airlines that stopped operations in 2013-2014 unexpectedly, it contains AIA Boeing 737-200 Advance with all the registrations including the white aircraft that rest in Queretaro Intercontinental Airport with the Aeropostal DC-8. The registrations are: XA-URU, XA-URT, XA-UIU, XA-UIV, XA-UIV White Colors (those 3 aircrafts XA-UIU XA-UIV including the XA-UIV White Colors were from Aviacsa). I hope enjoy it!

| Estonian Air 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Estonian Air was the flag carrier of the Republic of Estonia from 1991 to 2015, one of many airlines to form 1991 after the fall of the Soviet Union. By 1998, Estonian Air had modernized the fleet, with Fokker 50s and 737-500s replacing the last of the YAK-40s and Tu-134s. The 737-500s had 3 livery variations, all of which have been done on the FAIB model by Michael Pearson in the Avsim library as "faib_737-500_ell.zip" and are included in these flight plans. Michael Pearson has also done the NAAI Fokker 50 as "naai_f50_ell.zip". Flightplans by Vadim Stepanyuk, packaged together by Chasen Richardson as part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. | Druk Air 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Druk Air was the only scheduled carrier in Bhutan in 1998, operating a pair of Bae-146s across the region. The carrier is well known for being based out of the infamous Paro airport, which requires a demanding approach across mountainous terrain. However, due to the equipment Druk Air had at the time, the airline routed most flights via DMK, and the aircraft spend as much time(or more) in Bangkok as they do home in Pero! | California Pacific 2019 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
California Pacific was the pet-project of eccentric millionaire Ted Vallas who was determined to overcome a near-decade of obstacles to bring scheduled jet service to the Northern San Deigo\Carlsbad area. The airline was founded in 2009, but ran into a laundry list of problems over the years. Initially, the airline had acquired an EMB-170 which was painted in the airlines own colors and kept at the airlines Carlsbad base(CLD\KCRQ). The initial plan called for 3-class service to destinations including SJC, OAK, PHX, SMF, and even SJD. However, a US government shut down ill-timed during the scheduled proving runs and certification process for the airline delayed the process indefinitely. After months of waiting, and paying for staff and the aircraft to the dismay of investors, the E170 was returned and used as a cooperate shuttle in Arizona in full California Pacific colors, though it never would return. The founder did not give up, however, and years later was able to circumvent the certification process by purchasing the operating certificate of ADI's Essential Air Service operation which connected Watertown and Pierre, South Dakota with Denver with a pair of EMB-145s. One of the EMB-145s was painted in full California Pacific colors and used to launch scheduled flights, this time initially to SJC, RNO and LAS with AZA instead of PHX later being added. However, the other EMB-145 was damaged after being struck by ground equipment in Pierre, SD and was grounded for the rest of the airline's life, causing all EAS flights to cancel soon after California Pacific had acquired the flying. The airline was stretched so thin when service started in November 2018 that the departure of a pilot in January 2019 shut the airline down, after just 2 months in operation. Flights were for months considered "suspended", with airport signage being retained at the destinations, but soon after the website was taken down and all hopes of re-starting the company seemed abandoned. These flights are based on an early 2019 schedule I found online, but the EAS flights were not listed. As the flights did not operate anyway for the most part as California Pacific, I elected not to include them. The schedule was changed several times in the airline's short history as it struggled to maintain an aggressive 30 minute ground-time between flights with just 1 aircraft. | CSA Czech Airlines 1998 AI |

File Description:
Czech Airlines(abbreviated to CSA) is the national airline of the Czech Republic and one of the world's oldest surviving air carriers. Having been on the Eastern Side of the "Iron Curtain" during the Cold War, the airline historically operated Russian aircraft. However, by 1998, the airline had transitioned to a Western fleet though 4 Tu-154Ms remained solely preforming charters. All long-haul services were provided by the carriers 2 A310-300s, so most routes were only operated a few days per week at most. As many of the repaints included multiple variations, these flightplans were made to suit the variations. If you wish not to use them, simply assign the same paint to both versions. | Ghana Airways 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Ghana Airways was only 6 years from the end of a long history in 1998. A pair of DC-9-51s flew around West Africa, sometimes on 6-stop flights, while the 2 DC-10-30s(one of which was still in the old livery) flew to New York and the 3 routes remaining in Europe. Though based in ACC, ABJ seems to have had more flights and destinations from the DC-9s. One of the DC-9s was destroyed in a crash landing 2 years later and the airline never recovered, shutting down in 2004. A single Fokker 27-600 was operated by the Ghana Air Force as "Ghana Link", a regional subsidiary of Ghana Airways, in full Ghana military colors. File Description:
Unfortunately, between the early 1990s and 1998, Nigeria Airways had drastically reduced it's European network, ending service to places like London and Amsterdam and disposing of most of the A310s and DC-10s. Flights to Dubai were now on a charter basis, with the DC-10 only doing a LOS-KAN-JED route once per week. The DC-10 also did maintenance in MIA, so I included a ferry flight there but it usually sits in Lagos unused. A single PW-powered A310-200 and a DC-10-30 were doing the longhaul flights while the A310s and several 737-200s were flying around Africa. There were 3 A310s stored; 2 in Lagos and one impounded in BRU(to become a cafe in 12/99) with none in flying conditions. I have them sitting idle in LOS as in real life, but since they were not in flying condition, they only do a touch and go landing once per week in the middle of the night. I will give them proper parking spots when I do the LOS ADEX eventually, but delete them if you wish. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Repaints are in the Avsim library, filenames included.
