The First Mission

File Description:
This mission is for Jane's USAF combat simulation game and is based on the real world's situation as America and its allies such as Australia and Britian are going to war with Iraq. Personally, I don't want it to happen. But I must say it's inevitable and is starting. I'm Australian, however I'll be trying to create most of the American missions on Iraq as much as I can. Since there's no Australian scene or Australian fighters in the USAF so I can't produce any Australian missions. This is just to entertain all you combat flight simmers.

Vostok I Mission

Restricted Airspace Mission

File Description:
This is my first attempt at a mission in Flight Simulator X. It's a simple mission following ATC instructions. You must be able to read a map and identify your location visually. I am working on adding a few more effects, but thought the community would enjoy this mission in its present form. I won't spoil the mission by giving too much detail, but your general heading for the flight is 70 to 80 degrees for a landing at Burke Lakefront Airport which is just north of downtown Cleveland. Prominent visual features on the shore of lake erie are the Key Bank skyscraper, Browns Stadium and the Rock Hall of Fame which are all visible in FSX. You will be flying just north of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.

Search & Rescue Mission

File Description:
This is a search and rescue operation involving a Martin 4 0 4 twin engine medium size plane. The plane was going to Gustovus for a complete paint job along with a major on the #2 engine, along with the fuel system being completely updated and reworked. This plane took off from Haines(PAHN) heading for Gustavus(PAGS) Both located in Juneau Alaska(sectional chart Juneau). Haines airport(PAHN) is default enhanced with some extra aircraft going out for the mission.

Soyuz I Mission

File Description:
This addon reproduces the Soyuz I Mission as flown by Vladimir Komarov on April 23, 1967. It features a Soyuz 11A511 booster with capability to lift a 6450kg payload to a 200 x 220 km, 51.63 degrees inclination orbit. This addon compatible with Orbiter build 030303.

Aerial Firefighter Training Mission

File Description: The Aerial Firefighter Training Mission is for flyers to learn and practice aerial firefighting skills. The flying tests will help you learn the approach, speed, and height control skills needed to successfully drop mud bombs (retardant) on spot fires. Then you'll be able to practice mud bomb drops on a never-ending series of spot fires. Earn certification reward as an aerial firefighter by passing all three flying tests and by putting out 15 spot fires in less than 15 minutes.
