File Description:
FS2004 PIA Boeing 777-240ER. Pakistan International Airlines PIA B777-240ER v2, registration AP-BGK, utilizing Project Open Sky 777-200 v2 model. It wears PIA's new livery, which will now be re-introduced to the entire PIA fleet in place of the provincial tail designs. While the basic livery remains the same, there is a golden stripe now under the green one, and the tail wears a large version of the Pakistani flag. The engine casings have the Urdu PIA logo on them. Part of the livery was to have 'PAKISTAN' written on the belly, but this aircraft does not have that yet and so it has not been added to the repaint to keep it as close as possible to the real thing. Features full POSKY virtual cockpit, with latest updates and custom sound. Contains ground service vehicles, tow truck, catering trucks, stairs, luggage loaders and containers custom painted in standard PIA colors. Updated .mdl and FDE. Complete pack, requires no external downloads. Textures in high quality 32 bit format. Repaint by Irfan Khan, Abdullah Rahman and Ahmed Ahsen exclusively from Virtual PIA.

| Mandarin Airlines 1998 AI Package |
|
File Description:
Mandarin Airlines was a fully-owned affiliate of China Airlines based in RCTP. Today, Mandarin does mostly regional flying, but 1998 represented the final years of widebody operations for the carrier. The 747SPs were retired soon after, and the MD-11s and 747-400 gradually returned to China Airlines. Mandarin operated most of the US, Australian, European, and Middle Eastern flights for China Airlines at the time. Mandarin aircraft frequently swapped back and forth onto China Airlines routes and vice versa. As Mandarin had a small fleet, I elected to have Mandarin planes on Mandarin routes, but my China Airlines plans will also utilize Mandarin colors MD-11s on China Airlines routes, so the repaints in this file are required for China Airlines 1998. Swap out the aircraft as you see fit. Repaints by the talented Ranmori Scythe included for the FAIB 747-400, 747SP, and FSPX MD-11 included with flightplans by the not-so-talented Chasen Richardson. | Airstrips of South-West France |
|
File Description:
Part two of my "Airstrips of Western Europe" project, these 90+ sceneries are mostly default basic airstrips from FS2004, enhanced with taxiways, parking spaces and aprons as appropriate, to facilitate the activation of lightweight GA AI traffic, primarily over the south-west of France. Hopefully these will allow a degree of continuity between my previous upload (Airstrips of North-West Europe) and the existing freeware releases for Spain and Portugal.
Again, there's no photo-realism here, just a selection of basic 'generic' buildings, more or less accurately sized and placed to reflect the airfield layout as seen on on-line satellite imagery and aerial photography. These buildings have minimal effect on frame-rates, so are ideal for this kind of job. The airfields are aligned as well as possible with the roads etc. in UT Europe and the Genesis Europe mesh, but should mostly be fine in a default installation or other configuration.
A good number of airfields in this area have been neatly implemented in the "Occitania_VFR" package, so I've not duplicated their work.
Also included are some "bonus" sceneries from further north that weren't included in my previous upload. Just copy them over as appropriate if required.

| USAF Boeing C-32B |
|

File Description:
This version of the Boeing 757 is part of the U.S. Dignitary fleet of 5 aircraft of which only 2 are so modified as "B" models. All 5 can carry the Vice President, and when doing so the callsign is AIR FORCE TWO. Normally, this version is used for high altitude, long range missions without media attention. She is equipped for high altitude flights way beyond what a normal 757 can achieve due to higher cabin pressure and fortifications, as well as more powerful and efficient engines. Although the visual model presented is not so equipped in the real world, the engine/aerodynamic aspects for the C-32B have been fully employed within this model. In reality, this version is not painted with U.S. Colors, but is white.

| Fiat CR.42 'Falco' |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
The Fiat C.R.42 was a single-seat fighter biplane which served primarily in Italy's Regia Aeronautica just before and during World War II. The aircraft was produced by the Turin firm, and also served, in smaller numbers, with the air forces of Belgium, Sweden and Hungary. With more than 1,800 built, it was the most widely produced Italian aircraft to take part in World War II. The Fiat C.R.42 was the last of the Fiat biplane fighters to see combat and represented the epitome of the type. RAF Intelligence praised its exceptional maneuverability, further noting that the plane was immensely strong. The Fiat C.R.42 made its combat debut with the Belgian Air Force, over Belgium on 10th May 1940. Complete aircraft, features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls.
Package includes many different liveries (Regia Aeronautica/Belgian Air Force/Swedish Air Force/Hungarian Air Force). VC only. GMax Models and Skins by Manuele Villa & Italianwings, Flight dynamics, Handling notes and Tutorials by FSAviator, It also works (Tested) subject to some limitations within in FSX (NOT Acceleration). | Recorder Module 1.3 |
|
File Description:
This module can record flights, save them to files and play them back like the FS instant replay and flight video recorder, but with a lot more features. The module does NOT record video files (like .avi), it records data like aircraft position, speed, etc, so the recordings can only be played inside FS. This has the advantage, that you can watch your recordings from different views. It also allows to play recordings as AI traffic, which e.g. allows flying in formation with yourself. Additionally it includes advanced view features for the tower and spot views.
Main features: recording flights of unlimited length - replay - recording of AI traffic - play recordings as (AI) traffic - jumping/searching forward/backward during playback - playback control via keyboard or control window - loop part of a recording - change playback speed - custom keyboard controls - recorded data is customizable (available are throttles, control surfaces, gear, flaps, spoilers, lights, engines on/off, propeller/mixture, nav and com radios, date/time, smoke) - multiple tower/spot/VC views - optional manual panning of tower/spot view direction - automatic zooming - saving/loading sets of tower/spot/VC views

| Driftwood Bay AK23 near Dutch Harbor Alaska |
|
Images related to this file:
File Description:
This is Driftwood Bay, an Air Force field that is just 13 miles northwest of Dutch Harbor, and was once part of a DEW line station with a road heading up the hill.
In FS9 the stock runway is concrete and if you have a mesh with the hills correctly positioned then the runway sits in a deep hole on the hillside. In fact the runway is gravel, 3,500 feet long and aligned 32/14 next to the beach, which is where I moved it to. The beach, as configured by Ultimate Terrain (and contrary to my previous doubts, UT does cover the Aleutians) is incorrect, in that a marshy area just behind the beach is shown as sea with large indentations in what should be a fairly straight line of sand. However, this does not squeeze AK23 in any way so I left it; consider it to be a spring high tide. There is very little at AK23 beyond a gravel runway and a windsock and the AI is an Alaska State Troopers Piper Super Cub from Dutch Harbor, presumably monitoring the numerous Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge areas.
