File Description:
The Piper PA34 Seneca is a six passenger light transport and trainer was first introduced in 1971. It has twin turbo-supercharged Continental engines. This aircraft has been made with GMax, primarily for AI purposes but actually also flies well as an ordinary aircraft. It has 6 LODs with only 2564 polygons (triangles) for the main model. I am indebted to Ray Blake who has made all the textures (seven) for this package.
A separate paintkit is being posted to Avsim.

SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present what is quite possibly the most realistic sounding Pratt & Whitney JT3D-7 Turbofan sound pack available! This sound pack is designed to work with Historic Jetliners Group's Douglas DC-8-63 and Boeing 707-320C models. There are two versions of this sound pack, one interior point of view from the cockpit, and the other being the passenger cabin POV in front of the engines. This sound pack includes many unique and realistic features, including realistic 3D sound cones giving a very realistic exterior sound experience, especially in the fly-by view mode. Also using the cone technology, realistic distant taxi howling and distant rumbling sounds are included. The plane could be heard loud and clear from up to 2km away in tower view! Realistic start up sounds featuring external air cart compressor howling noises are included. Realistic interior ambience noises such as the inverter noise and touchdown, flaps, gear sound with chime, and more are featured in this sound pack. SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present what is quite possibly the most realistic sounding Boeing 737NG sound pack available! This sound pack is designed specifically for the PMDG 737NGX, and will not work properly in any other 737NG aircraft add-ons in MS FSX, or Prepar3D. Seperate 737NG versions for the freeware TDS, Vistaliners/Kittyhawk, default 737-800, and other 737NG add-ons will follow shortly.
We have gone through great lengths to make this sound as realistic as possible through all stages of flight and through all dimensions of the exterior view, as well as the interior points of view. These sounds will raise the bar for all future jet sounds for Flight Simulator X!
One new and amazing feature in this sound is the interior 3D Sound Cone environment specifically for the PMDG 737NGX version. The sound environment will change inside as you 'scroll' back towards the engines and wings in the 3D interior view (virtual cockpit view).
Perhaps the best part of these sounds is the exterior fly-by! Using 3D Sound Cone technology, there are two exterior buzzsaw sounds, one distant and one up close. Two jet whine sounds, one for front and rear, and one for side-on to the plane. There are three powerful sounding rumble/exhaust sounds, one 'whooshing' sound effect for side one, one powerful blast sound for behind the engine, and one low rumble for when the plane is flying overhead at a distance. All in all, this will create one of the most realistic sounding in-game jet fly-by sound experiences for Flight Simulator X, especially for the CFM56-7B 737NG in FSX.

This aircraft has has been constructed using Gmax v1.2. The aircraft is constructed with as few polygons as possible and with a single texture file to ensure the absolute minimum impact on your framerates. There are two models- each has seven LODs.
The aircraft has had an amazing history with first prototype flying in 1935. To quote from Wikipedia "A total of 15,495 T-6s of all variants were built.During the Korean War and to a lesser extent, the Vietnam war, T-6s were pressed into service as forward air control aircraft. These aircraft were designated T-6 "Mosquito"s.[1] The RAF used the Harvard in Kenya against the Mau Mau in the 1950s where they operated with 20 lb bombs and machine guns against the gangs. Some operations took place at altitudes around 20,000 ft asl. A Harvard was the longest-serving RAF aeroplane, with an example, taken on strength in 1945, still serving in the 1990s (as a chase plane for helicopter test flights - a role the Shorts Tucano's high stall speed was ill-suited for). The T-6G was also used in a light attack or counter insurgency role by France during the Algerian war in special Escadrilles d'Aviation L�������©g�������¨re d'Appui (EALA), armed with machine guns, bombs and rockets. At its peak there were 38 EALA's active. The largest unit was the Groupe d'Aviation L�������©g�������¨re d'Appui 72, which consisted of up to 21 EALAs. Portugal also used ex-French aircraft during the Portuguese Colonial War.
Since the Second World War, the T-6 has been a regular participant at air shows, and was used in many movies. For example, in Tora! Tora! Tora! and The Final Countdown, converted single-seat T-6s painted in Japanese markings represent Mitsubishi Zeroes. The New Zealand Warbirds "Roaring 40s" aerobatic team use ex-Royal New Zealand Air Force Harvards. The Reno National Air Races also has a class specifically for the T-6 during the National Air Races each year."
This GMax model is quite fun to fly as a normal aircraft, but was originally designed specifically to enhance the AI aircraft population.
I would like to especially thank Ray Blake who has kindly made these high quality textures for this package.
