Toronto area power stations FS2004 The Pickering power station 20 miles E of Toronto is one of the largest in the world with 8 units. The Darlington station 43 miles east of Toronto will be 4 units when completed. When used with UT they are correctly located on the shore line. Rwy 12 library will be required. Works with Toronto2 scenery. Cooling towers are reduced scale to reflect differences of CANDU reactors by David "Datatrain" Eastbury

File Description: Colorado Springs South (KCOS), Colorado, Photo-Scenery (FS9 & FSX) This region covers the area of Colorado Springs. Just west of the city you can fly around Pikes Peak. At 14.115ft it is the easternmost of Colorado's 54 fourteeners. Northwest of the city lies the Garden Of Gods with its many vertical rock formations. They are made of sedimentary beds red and white sandstones, conclomerates and limestone that were deposited horizontally but have been tilted vertically and faulted by the immense mountain building forces caused by the uplift of the Pikes Peak massiv. Deep within Chayenne Mountain is the North American Aerospace Defense Command's (NORAD) main technical facility which collects and evaluates data from a worldwide system of satellites, radars and other sensors. High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/GNB_South3East.html . FPST - Sao Tome International Airport Scenery Fix

File Description:
Some users encountered the elevation issue at Runway 29 and to the southwestern part (Hotel Praia Bay) of my prior released 'FPST - Sao Tome International Airport' scenery, especially those who are using the scenery with the default mesh or freeware meshes; also users with FS Global Mesh 2008 encountered it. The content in this fix covers two alternatives; one softens heavily the issue but with a loss of mentionable details, the other is a compromise with a less softening of the issue but with a minor loss of details.

File Description: The Deluxe version of Flight Simulator X contains a very easy-to-use tool for placing scenery objects visually within the game. Unfortunately, the Microsoft developers neglected to tell anybody. This document contains an illustrated explanation of this tool and how to use it. My most sincere apologies - I am unable, for lack of free time, to offer support of any kind. For questions or problems, please post in the Avsim scenery design forum.

File Description: There sure is more than one reason to go to Aspen and this is sure another must-have of my Colorado sceneries. If you're coming IFR there's a couple of very demanding approach procedures. From a LOC/DME to several visual approaches there's everything your heart might desire. Due to the steep and high surrounding terrain these are quiet some hair raisers (see www.airnav.com/airport/KASE). If you're coming VFR then the traffic pattern altitude is 9.005 ft for light aircraft (vs. 9.505 for aircraft 12.500 lbs or more). Weather and wind permitting, RW15 is preferred for all landings (left pattern). RW33 has a right pattern and is preferred for all takeoffs. You even need a written permission to depart RW15. When departing VFR make a right turn to a heading of 360 degrees ASAP for noise abatement and hold this heading for at least 2 miles from the field. And don't forget to enjoy the impressive mountain scenery with two 14ers: Snowmass Mtn. and Castle Pk. to the southwest. This scenery brings you another 3.500 sq km of beautiful Colorado in 4.7m/pix quality. High resolution versions of this scenery for FS9 and FSX (much sharper, but larger and multiple downloads) are available at www.blueskyscenery.com/GNB_South2West2.html .
