TCAS (traffic collision avoidance system) shows aircraft in the vicinity of
your own aircraft and warns when other aircraft are in close proximity or when
they their projected paths cross your path within 40 seconds.
TCAS features:
- It shows AI (artificial intelligence) aircraft
- It shows IVAO and VATSIM traffic when connected to IVAO or VATSIM networks
- It shows traffic on all altitudes
- It shows relative altitude and climbing/descending indication
- It shows intruders and gives proximity alerts (traffic advisories, TA)
- It shows traffic on the ground
- It does not give resolution advisories (RA)
- It shows the callsigns of the 9 aircraft closest to your aircraft
- Range is adjustable from 2 to 40 nm
- Display can be dimmed
- Take a screenshot anytime
(due to the size limit, the thumbnail picture looks a bit blurred. In the zip file, a screenshot of actual resolution (320x240) is included.

TOPCAT is an acronym for Take-Off and Landing Performance Calculation Tool. It's a highly realistic, easy-to-use planning tool for all serious flight simulator enthusiasts. It brings into a single application all of the calculations required to plan for safe and repeatable take-offs and landings including de-rated thrust and assumed temperature calculation. Currently the follwing airplane types are available in TOPCAT (more to come): Boeing 747-400, Boeing 747-400 Freighter, Boeing 747-400, Boeing 767-300, Boeing 767-300 ER, Boeing 767-300 Freighter and the Airbus A320-214. File Description:
Nimpo Lake is less than 10 miles south of Anahim Lake, and is a centre for fishing lodges and other "nature" activities such as hiking and hunting etc. As a result there is considerable float plane activity on the lake as clients are flown in, or out, to other lakes that are nearby, or just on sightseeing jaunts. This one, CF04, is the last of a trio of Nimpo Lake float bases, and is at the far end of the lake from the other two. It is for Nimpo Lake Resort, a lodge and cottages to accommodate anglers and hikers etc. To the south of the lake, and included here, is what I have called Nimpo Lake Land CF51. It cannot by any stretch of imagination be called an airfield, but it is a cleared area and it has been used by wheeled planes. There is no runway as such and it is somewhat bumpy. The AI and the Beavers were included in the posting of CAF8.
