Sauze and Val Susa (TO) Italy Abbey of San Michele della Chiusa, is an architectural complex perched on the summit of the Pirchiriano mountain, at the mouth of the valley of Susa N45.05.52 E7.20.35.
The Fort of Exilles, N45.05.59 E6.56.10 is one of the most important defensive systems in Piedmont. Its position in the middle of a stretch of the high Susa Valley made it a strategic one. Around the Fort were born through the centuries many legends, but perhaps the most famous of all, is that related to a mysterious character the Iron Mask, better described by Alexandre Dumas in the novel of the same name. The village of Sauze d'Oulx N45.02.01 E6.50.00 includes the old alpine village where a large circular hotel built in the 1960's as a holiday center for the FIAT workers in the nearby Turin and higher, the new part formed by villas and hotels. Important VFR points for approching airport airport Torino or Val di Susa.

Textures for the Lockheed L-049 Constellation by the team Roland Berger, Volker Boehme, Manfred Jahn, Luis Pallas, Bill Tyne and Stefan Werner. Repaint by Manfred Meyer.
The company Nevada Airmotive bought TWA's L-049 fleet in 1962 for lease and/or resell them. But only fife of the 25 Constellations found new operators .
One of these aircrafts was c/n 2025, built 1945 and used by Lockheed as factory demonstrator until delivered to TWA as NC86504 "Star of France" in 1946. Sold to Nevada Airmotive in 1962 and leased to Futura Airlines and some month later to Paradise Airlines Inc. Oakland, CA. Paradise used the plane together with two further Constellations for flights from Oakland, Salinas, San Jose and other points in California to Lake Tahoe, bringing peoples to Horrah's gambling club there. Sadly N86504 crashed 1. march 1964 nine miles northwest of Lake Tahoe into the mountains with the lost of all 85 on board. Paradise AL then was forced to close down by FAA for failing to conduct a safe operation.

Simmers,Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?
This is 2nd repaint of my NFL collection.All repaints are of "Eric Dantes" Beachcraft Twin Bonanza. All NFL teams will be represented.These repaints are not layered so each one has to be redrawn in its offical colors.I hope to complete at least two a week,hopefully more :).All repaints will have two liveries,one with team logos and one without logos.
All NFL team names were put in two hats, AFC and NFC they are drawn one from each hat at random.The next repaint will be the San Francisco 49ers.Look for it soon. :)I hope you have as much fun collecting all 34 liveries as I will have painting them!

File Description:
This is a repaint of one of the 2 aircraft used in the film "The High and The Mighty" (John Wayne and Robert Stack - 1954). This aircraft actually flew in this paint around Los Angeles and the bay area of southern California in November of 1953 for in-flight footage, so it's entirely fictional...but the airline was.
The original repaint was by Dave McQueen for Jens B. Kristensen's DC-4/C-54 version 2.0. I have updated it to make it compatable with the Jens' new version 2.1 (DC4_v21.zip) to use the DC-4-1009 airfile. Load your plane with 3050 gallons of fuel and balance out passengers and cargo to total 73,000 lbs. and you can duplicate flight #420 in the film! If you wish to shut down engine #1 and dump 200 gallons of fuel from the left wing and see if you can still get to San Fransico from Honolulu, that's up to you..but it is a challenge. Known originally as Naval Air Station Sunnyvale after its christening in 1933, Moffett Field was renamed in 1942 in honor of Rear Admiral W.A. Moffett a founder of the Navy's Lighter than air program. By this time the LTA program had been reduced to the use of smaller dirigibles for scouting and anti-submarine work but the airfield remained immensely important as a fixed-wing facility due to it's strategic location between Seattle and San Diego. The Ames Research Center established before the war also blossomed into a major post-war aeronautical research and development center due in part to its highly advanced wind tunnel facilities. After the Second World War, Moffett Field developed into a West Coast hub for Patrol and ASW operations against encroaching Soviet missile boats. The NASA presence at Moffett began as early as 1939 with the establishment of the Aames Research Facility and evolving into the sophisticated R&D complex it is today. This particular scenery package attempts to represent the base more or less as it is today.

North American AT-6B, Year built: 1942, Construction Number (C/N): 84-7748, Registration Number: N57418, Mode S (ICAO24) Code: A75FE1, Certification Class: Standard, Certification Issued: 2009-08-17, Air Worthiness Test: 1983-07-11, Last Action Taken: 2009-08-17; Current Status: Valid, San Clemente, CA 92673. the aircraft is part of the "Condor Squadron" (a flying warbird group/foundation), which operates a number of T-6's/SNJ's out of Van Nuys, California, painted in both US and German markings for their airshow acts (the Luftwaffe-painted examples acting as the aggressors), as well as flying formations over parades and memorial services. N57418 used to be one of the German-painted examples, but now has been repainted as one of the 31st FG-painted American examples - there are still a few others painted in German markings to how N57418 used to look, such as N9525C and N7969C. These are textures only and you need a legal copy of the A2A T-6 Texan. This package will also work in FSX. PLEASE NOTE> This paint has the Swastika on its tail removed.

This freeware AI package, produced by Military AI Works contains everything needed to activate AMI's 46th Brigata Aerea in FS2004.
The 46th Brigata Aerea 'Silvio Angelucci' is the only squadron committed to air transport within the Italian Air Force, and one of
the most prestigious. the 46th Brigata Aerea is equipped with C-27 Spartans and the most recent versions of the C-130, and hosts a
crew training facility as well as maintenance facilities at Pisa-San Giusto (LIRP). The squadron is divided into three operational

| Colombian Airports - Update |

File Description:
This is an update to my previous Colombian Airports upload colapts1.zip.
The update contains mainly some navaid corrections to SKFL, SKIB, and SKVP, and adds the airport SKSJ Jorge E. Gonzales of San Jose del Guaviare; this is now at the correct location and altitude and has buildings, objects, and landclass added. It is for FS9 default scenery and the Colombia freeware mesh by Raimondo Taburet. However, the scenery should also work with the default or any other mesh but I have not tested it.
However, please NOTE:
that in the default scenery without mesh the airport SKSJ will be below the rest of the surface whereas with the mesh, the airport will be at the same altitude as the rest of the scenery with the exception of the river which now runs at a higher (the default) altitude (see screenshots). For me flying without the mesh does not make any sense, so I live with that restriction. If you don't like it, you can always delete or deactivate the files starting with "SKSJ".

Version 2.0 covers landclass across the entire greater Houston area, with a large increase in LOD. This version significantly tightens up and improves the landclass from version 1.0, and adds a vast amount of scenery objects that brings the Bay Area-KEFD area into the modern era. This improves and adds a highly accurate runway 17 approach with accurate placement of buildings and scenery around the year 2011-modern day. In addition, includes several new files including a new airport/helipad via Houston Clear lake regional airport, T41 La Porte Municipal and surrounding shipping ports, Kemah Boardwalk, and a giant improvement to Johnson Space Center Houston. Rundway 35 and Runway 22 landclass is significantly increased, and more accurate as well.
