East African Airways Comet 4 VP-KPJ

File Description:
EAA was jointly owned by the governments of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Working closely with BOAC and needing an effective aircraft to operate opposite BOAC Comets made the airline an early puchaser of the type. This aircraft VP-KPJ, one of two ordered in 1958, was the first to be delivered in July 1960 and inaugerated the Nairobi-London service. So sucessful was the type that a third was soon ordered and the fleet increased to four when a BOAC example was taken on lease. Super VC 10's were ordered to relace the Comets from autumn 1966 but the type soldiered on right up until February 1971 using a leased Dan Air aircraft. VP-KPJ which had become 5X-AAO in April 1964 was found to be suffering from corrosion and was sold to Dan Air for spares in Nov 1970. Requires the DH 106 Comet 4 model by David Maltby

RCAF Avro Arrow 416 Lynx Squadron

File Description:
Textures only. Avro Arrow in 416 Lynx Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force. Real plane, real livery, but fictional that this livery was on this plane, as the real plane was never addopted into service. Inspired by a repaint by Shane Strong (do a search for his repaints, some 190 quality paints!) on the Alphasim Voodoo, I undertook to replicate (nothing coppied from his work) the feel of that historic 'special' livery, on what the RCAF pilots SHOULD have been flying...the Arrow. If you don't know this plane, or it's history, you really ought to do a search and check out it's story. Amazing, powerful, speedy, had many technological firsts, and many more which were being designed but never completed (imagine for instance it's missiles, which were basically simple AMRAAM's in the 60's) Requires:Mike Stone's Avrow Arrow, get it at: http://www.pmstone.com/ or any of the usual big sites. Optional:"Version 2 Update" (edit/tweek, effects) by Bob Chicilo (got mine at Avsim).

West Air Sweden Fleet of HS.748

File Description:
for use with Rick Pipers wonderful HS.748 ONLY. Contained in these files are the eight texture files for West Air Swedens present fleet of HS.748`s the info for painting them was from airliners.net,and i could not tell if they all had wing regs or not. So please let me know if you have any info that could help fix any mistakes that might be on these textures. they are as near as i could get them with the info i had. I believe they have a ninth HS.748 reg SE-LPR build number cn 2057 but i could not find any pics of this,so it was not included. credits for the original HS.748 and texture packs 1,2,and 3,must go to Rick Piper and his team West Air Sweden textures are by Alan Cottrill,and i have been given ricks kind permission to send these texture files to avsim.

Royal Danish Airforce North American F-100F

File Description:
FS2004 North American F-100F Royal Danish Airforce. Requires the f100f948.zip by Kazunori Ito. The F-100F was essentially an F-100D stretched for two crewmembers. Denmark received 48 single-seaters and ten two-seaters from July 1959 onwards. In the early 1980's they were replaced by F-16A Fighting Falcons. A third of the Royal Danish Air Force's fleet of Super Sabres were lost in accidents, mirroring the types poor safety record in USAF service. An F-100D can be seen guarding the gates at Skrydstrup Air Base in Denmark. This file contains Texture off the´GT-976 RDAF. Realistic sound made by Angelos Hatzikatakos, and new panel by Luis da Costa Pereira & Fabio Bonoldi. Thanks for Your great work… It also includes a blank paintkit of the F-100F. De Havilland DHC 3 Otter Amphibian

File Description:
IBM PC version The De Havilland Canada DHC3 Otter was built in the mid 1950's as a workhorse for developing outback Canada. With double slotted full span flaps (drooping ailerons) and 2000lbs payload, its STOL capability, along with also having a float version with retracts, made it an ideal "Bushplane" with unparalelled performance from any contempory aircraft. This model is fully amphibious and was built using Truespace 3.2 and Chris Wallace's 3ds to S3d converter for Fly! II. The model requires that you have the Tri default aircraft installed. A few non-standard features have been included to improve the ease of operation. 1. nose wheel steering (the original uses differential braking and castoring nose gears) 2. an electric pump for hydraulics (optional on the original ) 3. a simple GPS that can be slaved to the auto pilot. (unheard of during the production life of the original but very likely to be found on any survivng present day aircraft. ) Enjoy.

AFG YS-11 Combi v2.7 Aleutian Old Mod 1

THIS IS TO RECTIFY AN AIRCRAFT.CFG FILE ERROR YS-11 reeve aleutian old colour scheme textures only,for AFG`s YS-11 v2.7 ONLY,you must have the AFG YS-11combi.zip for the V2.7 in fs9,for these textures to work. also included is the aircraft config text that needs to be added to the aircraft config file,for the aircraft to show in fs9. mods added to textures are:- 1)water methanhol fillercap top port wing 2)emergency cut panels 3 off top fuselage 3)red/blue/grey colour shades corrected 4)american flag on fin now correct way round with the stars to the fin LE 5)fwd cargo door realigned to v2.7 opening FOR THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY DOWNLOADED MY AFG_YS-11combi_V2.7_aleutian_old.zip dated 19/11/06 and you cannot see the aircraft in yor fs9,then use notepad to edit the aircraft.cfg file so the line MODEL=C becomes MODEL= in the aleutian part of the cfg file. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

AFG YS-11 V2.7 JASDF 50th aniversary

File Description:
YS-11 JASDF 50th colour scheme textures only,for AFG`s YS-11 v2.7 ONLY,you must have the AFG YS-11jac.zip for the V2.7 in fs9.in order for these textures to work. also included are the aircraft config text,that needs to be added to the aircraft.cfg file.for the aircraft to show in fs9. the 50th aniversary aircraft was painted with ref to photos i could find,on airliners.net,and a web site for JASDF aircraft,so the textures may not be 100% correct,as i had to best guess some of the details. The correct squadron badge has been put on the tail,thanks to help from esa of AFG,for pointing me to the correct web site with JASDF squadron details. The aircraft will show in fs9 as [Japan air force 158 V2.7]. Original textures and model by AFG,JASDF50th textures where done by me alan cottrill,if you have any problems with the JASDF50th textures,then please contact me.

FS2004 Delta Airlines Boeing 737-732 N301DQ (2 texture set) This Full package represents the fabulous Project Opensky B-737-732 Winglet (No Eyebrow Windows) model.Included are a clean paint as she will look upon delivery,and a weathered look after a few months of hard work have taken its toll.See the enclosed screenshots.This particular paint is N301DQ, which will be the very 1st 737-700 delivered to Delta.Since we have no ship #'s yet for the nose gear door,I have left it blank for the moment,as soon as the real one gets fully painted and I find out what the ship # will be on the nose gear door,I'll upload a patch for both these texture sets. Textures are in DXT3 format for faster FPS. This package contains everything needed to fly,nothing else needed. Pete & Sid's Viva Scenery Volume 4

File Description:
This is a collection of scenery enhancements for 81 airports, mostly smaller ones, located primarily in the Pacific Northwest, Alaska and Western Canada. (Yes, there's one in New Zealand.) It was not our intention to do anything fancy or particularly accurate, but simply to make the default scenery less boring and more fun. General aviation AI traffic (using default FS9 aircraft) is also included for some of these airports. The scenery for any individual airport may be removed without affecting the other airports. Some the airports we've done may also be included in Glacier Bay and other scenery add-ons; you'll need to remove one or the other to resolve any conflicts. This scenery was designed to work with Flight1's Ultimate Terrain and has not been tested with the default FS9 scenery. Most of the airports will probably work fine with the default scenery; those airports near water features (lakes, rivers, coastlines) are the ones most likely to have problems.

Supermarine Spitfire F 14e "SG58" (BAF)

File Description:
Following the example of the Royal Air Force, the Belgian Air Force wanted a squadron which could allow reserve-pilots to maintain their flying skills during the weekends. Created at Beauvechain on 1 December 1949, the Auxiliary Squadron initially received most of its Spitfire 14's from the locally based 349 and 350 Squadrons as they were converting from the Spit to the Gloster Meteor F.4. Although it was a reserve squadron, the operational level of the Auxiliary Squadron was of the highest standards because many of the pilots were war-time veterans with a long experience on the Spit. SG 58 was delivered to Aux Sqn/1 Wing on 19 may 51 and, like other squadron's last Spitfires, was transferred to the Fighter School at Koksijde from the fall of 1952 onwards. The Meteor F.4 then became the new mount of the Auxiliary Squadron. The Auxiliary Squadron was disbanded in 1958. (Source : Daniel Brackx)
