CESSNA (REIMS) F.172H ROCKET - D-EMZF | André Köhler’s passion for aviation was grown very early. As a small boy he made his first flight above his home in a small single engine plane. At this point nobody could imagine that he could call himself a plane owner one day. In summer 2016 he bought a Cessna 172H with registration D-EMZF and transferred it to its new home Rheine-Bentlage (ETHE). The former Army Airbase offered the perfect infrastructure to implement the project of an own Mescalero. In the following year the Cessna was deconstructed in every single part in hundreds of hours, repainted and assembled again. In July 2017 it received official blessing and could take-off again. This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Wings of Power III P-47D Thunderbolt, representing P-47D-22-RE 42-26386 D5-O "Sally Flat Foot III", the assigned aircraft of Lt William Ward of the 386th FS/ 365th FG. The first 365th FG pilot to report for duty, Bill Ward also had the distinction of leading the group on its last combat mission, a patrol flight on 8 May 1945. He scored to kills over Me109's, one marked with the German cross below the cockpit, scored on 22 june 1944, and another later in 1944, but that never made it into the 365th history books, hence the question mark. All lt Ward's Thunderbolts were called Sally Flat Foot, a nickname for his wife Sally. The third one also had a picture of a bird on the nose he referred to as 'the worry bird'. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Martin Catney.

| FSX/FS2004 USAF MATS C-133A Cargomaster 562008 |

This is a repaint of the Douglas C-133A Cargomaster in the USAF MATS scheme. The freeware Douglas C-133 Cargomaster by Tim Conrad is needed for this repaint - link provided. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & FS2004. Textures for FS2004 users are included. Textures are 32bit DDS & DXT3 BMP. In November 1958 562008 was assigned to the 1607th Air Transport Wing (Heavy), of the Military Air Transport Service (MATS), at Dover AFB, Delaware. On December 16 1958, this aircraft set a world record for propeller-driven aircraft, by lifting a cargo payload of 117,900 lbs to 10,000 ft. In January 1966, under a unit reorganization which included the 1607th ATW, 562008's new unit became the 436th Military Airlift Wing of the Military Airlift Command at Dover AFB. It made its last flight on March 17 1971. It is now on display at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base museum, Ohio.

This is a repaint of the 747-121 in Air Zaire colors. The payware 747-200 HD by Commercial Level Simulations - CLS is needed for this repaint. This repaint was tested FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3. Textures are 32bit DDS.
Air Congo was renamed Air Zaire, after the Democratic Republic of the Congo changed its name to Zaire in 1971. At the time, the fleet included 2 Douglas DC-8-33s, 8 Fokker F.27-600s, 2 SudEst SE-210 Caravelle IIIs, 6 DC-4s, and 4 DC-3s. In 1972, the carrier put in orders for 3 737-200s, and 2 DC-10-30s, the first of which arrived in February 1973. In October 1973 Air Zaire leased a 747-121 from Pan Am. Air Zaire began services from Kinshasa to Brussels, Geneva, and Rome just a month later, in November. By year’s end, Air Zaire was one of the largest carriers in Africa.

| Martinair 1998 AI Flightplans |

File Description:
Martinair was Holland's premiere charter outfit for many years before consolidating to an all-cargo operation several years back. In 1998, Martinair had a large scheduled operation to supplement their charter operations with 747-200s, MD-11s, and 767-300s. The 747's only scheduled route was a weekly flight to Cancun(CUN/MMUN), the rest of the 747 flights are charters. All scheduled flights are included as well as charters that I based off information found around the internet and a wide range of destinations are served. Note that the airline was celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 1998 and many of the aircraft had special titles. Flightplans by Chasen Richardson. Michael Pearson has painted the fleet and filenames to his textures are included. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. This delightfully streamlined airliner from the Classic Fifties is now only barely remembered in the U.K and probably almost unknown to the world at large. It has its origins as the prime contender after W.W.2 in the race for a medium range turboprop airliner in contention with the Viscount 630.
Had the manufacturers chosen the R.R. Dart as the power plant instead of the troublesome A.S. Mamba, then maybe the course of history in British aviation at that time would have been quite different. Who knows?
Only two flying airframes plus a test fuselage were made and unfortunately are no longer with us but under the aegis of F.S., we present our interpretation for your pleasure and enjoyment.
Our model depicts the two completed airframes and as an added bonus we have included
Coventry Airport AFCAD and Add on Scenery depicted in the 1950's including all hangars, Armstrong Whitworth Factory/hangar complex and control tower. Editvoicepack Apollo call sign.

| Factory Field CF40 in Quebec Canada |

File Description:
Factory Field (my name for it) is in Quebec on highway 321 a few miles north of St Andre Avellin, and 40 miles ENE of Ottawa. The runway is 3,500 feet long and asphalt and went out of regular use in the early 1990's when the airfield was closed. It was sold in 1995 to a company (ELP) that has built up a factory for manufacturing and fitting snow ploughs and other pneumatically operated equipment to trucks, and who now use the runway for testing their snow ploughs. In between times, as it is not marked closed with an "X", it is also occasionally used by customers who fly in, usually to get the drivers there to take delivery of completed trucks. The surface is good and there are no obstructions but also no markings, though with 3,500 feet of 100 feet wide asphalt there is plenty of space and it doesn't much matter.
