Today we are at the beach! Well, almost. The Fort Fisher - Kure Beach LRR [QGV] sits on a slight hill just 15 ft above the blue Atlantic. Just 1,500 feet to your east the surf is rolling up onto Kure Beach. This part of southern North Carolina is beautiful, and I suspect quite crowded with sun worshippers when the weather is appropriate. Start from Wilmington International [KILM] and wander 17 nm down the peninsula to the site. A helipad and terminal VOR [108.00] are included in the scenery. Scenery sets are provided for the FSGenesis 38m terrain mesh, and the standard fs9 terrain mesh.

AI Tall Ships sailing on Long Island Sound - A gathering of ten vintage AI Sailing Ships near Fisher's Island, New York. This scenery features incredibly detailed AI Sailing Ships modeled by Ron Jeffers, Pierre de Rotalier and Mike Hill. The project includes a replica of the Pequod - Captain Ahab's whaling ship in the epic novel "Moby Dick". Eight of the ten ships make twice daily trips around Fisher's Island. There is also an animated naval rowboat which makes short demonstration runs daily. With one exception, all required files are included. This scenery has been tested with Ultimate Terrain and the FS2004 default environment. Please unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple, illustrated instructions. Then sit back, watch the seas come to life and relive a little history. This package works very well with John B.Loney's Elizabeth Airport - 0b8_v1.zip - available here. | Long Beach KLGB Version 4.0 (New Terminal Construction) |

File Description:
This is a transitional version of Long Beach Daugherty Field. A brand new terminal is currently under construction and due to open in 2013. This version of the scenery shows the terminal as built but not yet operational which reflects current operations as of November 2012. All parking stands have been moved from their original staggered locations to positions surrounding the new terminal complex. Airlines serving the airport have been updated, and other heavy modifications have also taken place. In addition, Signal Hill has been converted from the giant rock scenery object to a correct elevation change file. The hill now has autogen and proper positioning and elevation. A future update with the fully operational terminal will be forthcoming.
