File Description:
Compass was an Australian Airline trying to compete with Ansett and TAA. Both ventures failed. Compass now lives on in the realms of Virtual Airlines.
This is a livery for the PMDG B748F for P3Dv5 and it commemorates the life of Christopher Rex Tripp (aka Tuppy or YMA003)who died November 2019. RIP mate.
This is a small update for the original file compass_b748f_vh_crt.zip
The file is in the PMDG PTP format which needs the PMDG Operations Centre for installation.
Enjoy! Please no not include this file in any commercial packages without permission.

This grouping of 3 gauges main focus is to provide rotary knobs and push buttons for the basic functions on the G1000 so as to remove some of the mouse/cursor work.
Gauge 1- rotary knobs for NAV1 and COM1 adjustment. Buttons for NAV1 & COM1 swap, FD, BARO-sea level and BARO up and down.
Gauge 2- rotary knobs for ALT and FLC speed adjustment. Buttons activate AP, ALT , VS, VS up/down and FLC.
Gauge 3- rotary knobs for HDG and CRS (LOC1) adjustment. Buttons activate AP, HDG, NAV, APR, BC and GPS/LOC1 swap.
These gauges are calibrated for the Baron G58 but will work for other aircraft fitted with the G1000 however the 'sliders' will need recalibrating. The rotaries and buttons will work ok.Unzip the attached file and follow instructions in 'READ THIS.txt'

File Description:
For anyone who installed my Portland-Hillsboro khio scenery; it just brought to my attention I left out two items needed for this scenery. I thought these were default items. They are not. One is a texture 'fx_apdreheat.bmp' the other is 'fx _navyel.fx' which I made and should have remembered to include this.

Prepar3D Scenery--John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK), New York (NY), USA. This file updates Ray Smith's KJFK scenery previously uploaded for use with FSX. Ray has given me permission to adapted his scenery for Prepar3Dv2 and replaces file Prepar3d_rwc_kjfk.zip This airport update incorporates two optional files, one version with the Crosswind runways activated and in full operation where all 4 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default runway operation: assigned parking now updated as per their website including gates for the A380, Terminal 3 demolished, Delta has now moved much of its operations to T4 as well as using T2, the new terminal extension added to T4 concourse B and allocated only for Delta connection, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, the freeway traffic that crosses taxiways A and B now ends before these taxiways, Autogen around the water edges of the airport removed, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other improvements, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation. This gauge is for use in the Saitek FIP and has been developed specifically for the Baron 58 (FSX default) but also works fully with the E55. The gauge looks nothing like what you will find in the BB58 but I have incorporated the components that are found at the lower right side of the control yoke. It has been designed to complement the Saitek AP / Multi panel and to fit between the yoke and the multi panel.
The gauge is primarily to show the selected AP Altitude and Vert Spd whilst the AP / multi panel is displaying HDG. Placing it to the left of the AP / multi panel and at lower right side of the yoke puts all the elements of this gauge in roughly the position they would be found in a BB58. The 5 light indicators are just an addition I thought would be handy to have. The landing light indicator is right next to the
landing gear warning lights and acts as a reminder to have them on by the time the gear goes down.

This gauge is for use in the Saitek FIP and is an extension to my recent Baron 58 (FSX default) gauge . That gauge was designed for a specific aircraft whilst this package of three gauges has the same functionality of the BB58 gauge but will work on all aircraft. Each of the three gauges displays fuel level for different tanks but are identical in all other respects. As part of your pre-flight checklist you will need to make sure the right gauge for the aircraft is being displayed.
The set of 3 gauges have been designed to complement the saitek AP / Multi panel. The gauges primarily show the selected AP Altitude and Vert Spd whilst the AP / multi panel is displaying HDG. Five indicators for "lights on" are included as well as lights for landing gear (in transition and down) . The flaps indicator shows a blue light for intermediate positions and a yellow light when at full down position. A separate flaps position indicator (numerical and needle) is included. The 5 fuel indicators in each gauge are vertical analogue 'meters'. Rudder and aileron trim is displayed and controlled by the two FIP rotary knobs. Pitch trim readout and other functions is included.
NOTE. This package includes a pitch trim image file that was inadvertently left out of my original BB58_AP_Alt_VS_and_Fuel_v1.zip folder.
