Here's a bunch of files I assembled when looking at "improving" the default textures that AFCAD (and I believe ADE and AFX) use. This is meant for someone who wants to continue tinkering, and is by no means meant to be a finished product.
Perhaps the best thing in here is a chart which shows what textures you see in AFCAD, and what turns up in the sim. I hope you can find some use for these, and possibly build on them.

| Jamaica Replacement Landclass |

File Description:
This landclass features accurate layout of cities like Kingston, Montego Bay and Spanish Town.
Vegetation has been vastly improved to depict forest, sugar cane and drier areas like the SW coast.
I have tried to include almost every town and village in the interior.

| Replacement Enviroment Textures |

File Description:
New enviroment textures for FS2004, by Nils Danielsson 2003.
What's been changed:
- Removed unrealistic surface effects (waves, or whatever its supposed to look like) to create a completely smooth enviroment texture.
- Desaturated colors a bit and added warmth in low-sun reflections to get that copper-like look that you'll see when light is filtered thru the air.
Used best toghether with my custom made skytextures for FS2004, found at avsim as fs9skytext.zip

| Tupolev Tu-360 Hypersonic Bomber |

File Description:
The Tu-360 was designed in the Tupolev OKB during the 1980s as replacement to the Tu-160. It was to carry a 10,000 kg offensive load to a distance of 10,000 km at a speed of Mach 6 powered by six variable-cycle turboramjet engines fuelled with liquid hydrogen. Crew consisted of two pilots. Gmax model with basic virtual cockpit. No panel or sounds included.
