File Description:
FS2002 and FS2004 compatible. I created this sound pack to address the fact that many of the default sounds are too "throaty." While deep rumbles may be what you hear as an observer or even a passenger, the cockpit has a very different sound environment. In fact, on the heavies, the cockpit is so far in front of the engines, that sounds are more high-pitched and smooth.
This project was designed to be a sound pack for use with the Aerodesigns Airbus A340, although I must say that I am also using it for my 747s. The choice is up to you... installation is easy and can be reversed with a simple procedure if you don't like the effect.
All sounds were mixed and compiled for smoothness, resolution, clarity, and timbre. I think you will find the effect quite pleasing and a rather welcome improvement.

This sound is intended for use on Project Opensky's models, but they'll work pretty good I am sure on other freeware and payware planes. After month's of hard precision work, I present to you my new realistic and accurate 737NG CFM56-7B soundpack for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and X. The interior sounds are mainly from a passenger perspective. Once you load your aircraft with these sounds, you'll hear the APU System and Fans in the cabin. You hear the humming sound of the CFM56-7B at idle after you have started the engines. You spool up the engines at takeoff then hear the buzzsaw-like sound of the CFM56-7B engine's fans. Once you lift off and put up the landing gear you will hear a chime from the cabin. It features realistic cockpit sounds like the autopilot deactivation sound, stall clicker, overspeed clicker, gear up warning sound buzzer, flaps lever, rolling whine, and touch-down. I am sure that if you are a frequent Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircraft flyer, or if you're a pilot or flight crew onboard a 737NG aircraft, that you'll pretty impressed by these sounds. Give this soundpack a try, I am sure you won't be disappointed!

This sound pack is designed to work with Historic Jetliners Group's Douglas DC-8-63 and Boeing 707-320C models. There are two versions of this sound pack, one interior point of view from the cockpit, and the other being the passenger cabin POV in front of the engines. This sound pack includes many unique and realistic features, including realistic 3D sound cones giving a very realistic exterior sound experience, especially in the fly-by view mode. Also using the cone technology, realistic distant taxi howling and distant rumbling sounds are included. The plane could be heard loud and clear from up to 2km away in tower view! Realistic start up sounds featuring external air cart compressor howling noises are included.
