File Description:
Hazyview is one of the gateway towns to the Kruger National Park and is located just to the West of Phabeni Gate, one of the main gates to use if you are travelling to Skukuza. The airfield in Hazyview is also called Numbi Airfield due to the location of the Numbi Hotel right next to the airfield.
Hazyview airfield is not included in the default scenery of FS2004. With this package, it has been faithfully produced in Gmax with photoreal textures on all the buildings and a photoreal ground as well. Even the Lowveld mall to the North of the airfield and right on the approach to Rwy 19 as well as the Building supplies store to the south and on approach to Rwy 01 is inlcuded with custom models and textures. Likewise, the buildings to the West of the runway (right at the edge of the runway) and the brickyard at the Northern end is modeled with custom models and textures. The two large cellphone antennas are also present in the airport scenery and custom made.
In real life, the runway is quite sloped and this was also recreated in the scenery under the limitations FS2004 presents with regards to non-flat airports.
The grass runway is aligned 01/19 and only 820m long. Take-off is on Rwy 01, with landings on Rwy 19.

The Boeing MD-11F aircraft, N604FE, named "Hollis" is based out of Memphis, TN and can fly both Domestic and International Routes. The MD-11F (53 built) are the Freight transport aircraft version and were the second variant on offer at launch in 1986, and was the last and longest (1988-2000) manufactured version. 22 MD-11F's were delivered between 1991 and 2001 to FedEx. According to Flight Aware, she flies mainly domestic routes daily. The aircraft is almost identical to the DC-10F, although BOEING modernized their model with a longer fuselage and more powerful engines, giving her a longer range and higher service ceiling. Most flights are at full payload, and those disclude the center long-range fuel tanks, and involve flights ranging between 2,000 and 4,500 nm. I've been dealing with several versions of this aircraft for many years, actually since the first offered on CompuServe for FS98 in the '90s, and through time have found many aerodynamic details that were required in order to make her fly realistically. The Internet slowly added the details I needed, and then came the testing. Needless to say, I've flown many versions, including this one, for way too many hours, and added and corrected things along the way. This version is the best I've ever done, and I've worked on her for about a year before this upload. Everything is aerodynamically correct, and the engines (and their placement) are beyond anything ever presented by anyone with anything like this previously. I even fixed the gear to be 100% authentic in placement and use. I tried to fix the lights, but the textures are from FS2004, so I did the best I could. I chose this aircraft because it is actually in service today, and because the painter did a great job in making her look authentic. She now flies in FSX just as she does in reality, but you are better advised to study this on your own, rather than take my word. Aircraft ratings by manufacturers are based on simple standards, and very conservative. FSX is a virtual “WIND TUNNEL†when realistic aerodynamics are employed, so we can see what aircraft are capable of if we do it all right. Sorry to say, no one ever builds a free aircraft for upload with the correct engine/aerodynamics employed. In fact, I don't think anyone, other than myself, has ever put that much effort into it. | ZGGG Guangzhou Baiyun Int'l Airport 2017 |

File Description:
Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (ZGGG) is the major airport of Guangzhou, China. Located in Guangzhou's Baiyun District, it opened on August 5, 2004, but has gone through major changes since FSX was created. The default version only has one terminal and two runways and is slightly out of place from the actual location. I placed the airport in its real location based upon the charted latitude and longitude of the airport reference point. Guangzhou Baiyun Int'l Airport now has three runways. The third runway opened in February 2015. The centerpiece is the new Terminal 2, faithfully rendered here as much as possible. The terminal footprint and gates are accurate. The 3D terminal itself is a simple Sketchup project with generic textures (including night textures). The scenery converted and placed using MCX's amazing Convert and Place Wizard. I added the FBO ramp and the FEDEX Cargo Ramp Aprons and added some hangars to both locations, all default FSX buildings, so no additional library downloads are required. The new runway (now called 02R/20L) was added with Airport Design Editor. The old runway 02R/20L was renamed to the current runway 02L/20R and the old runway 02L/20R was renamed to the current runway 01/19. All taxiways are accurately drawn and designated with taxisigns using the latest AIRAC 1712 Jeppesen chart for ZGGG. All six ILS approaches are rendered as well as ADE would let me.

Object libraries for scenery developers (version 10 - improvements on curved surfaces + 10 lights(improved) + 3 windsocks + 3 animals + 5 animated people + 10 fuel_area +stable +fire_tower + 28 new fences + church + sheds). All objects in these libraries will be used in my own sceneries and the result of 100s hrs of effort. All objects from the real world. All objects use LOD (Level Of Detail) to keep frame rates high. Final long distance models have a large triangle added below ground to stop them disappearing in the distance. PBR materials used extensively. Included are 2 PDF files with photos of every object to make selection easy. Republish these files in any freeware scenery if required. READ "read me library instructions" before using.

Googly scenery for Ventspils International - Latvia's third largest commercial airport
(try not to laugh!) although no facilities other than a runway are provided in Flight
Simulator 2004. These scenery files add taxiways, aprons, buildings and other airport
features, so that you and your "AI" traffic can land, taxi, park and take off in a
realistic manner.
The airport serves the city of Ventspils in northwest Latvia and opened as recently
as 1975. Owing to changes in the political situation, operations ceased in 1983 but
it re-opened in 2000. At present, it is unclear which operators serve the airport
- Air Baltic is the claimed contender but there is no evidence in their advertised
schedules. It is believed that occasional flights are operated to St Petersburg and
Moscow by Russian operators but information is hard to come by. Nevertheless, the
airport's own web site (http://www.airport.ventspils.lv/) has figures showing the
increasing numbers of passengers passing through the airport, so something must
call here! The airport also sees a respectable amount of General Aviation activity
and AVGAS has recently been made available.
The scenery does not purport to be ultra-accurate. Based on high-detail satellite
imagery from Google Earth, the layout is proportionally correct but the added
airport features, such as buildings, are built from default Microsoft objects
and add-on libraries so will not look like the real thing. [File re-uploaded at request of AVSIM]

File Description:
Located 01 miles S of Cross Keys, New Jersey on 280 acres of land, Cross Keys Airport is a small General Aviation field privately owned by Cross Keys Airport Inc. In addition to servicing GA flights, the airport also hosts a paintball field and a sky diving operation to the north of the field. For this reason, all aircraft must remain south of the runway at all times. Any aircraft with a wingspan larger than 40 feet will need to park in the turf area west of the main apron - smaller GA aircraft can pick a spot from any of the open tiedown areas. 100LL (Blue) Fuel is available by stopping next to the fuel tank on the main apron. Although it doesn't exist in real life, a patch of concrete to the west of the main apron made for a good helipad, so I included one. It is not lit at night. Trees in the surrounding forest are summer trees ONLY.
Scenery constructed with use of Google Maps images, and vague recollection by the author who went sky diving there once.
This scenery is meant to be used in conjunction with MegaScenery Earth New Jersey/Delaware 004. It is not required, but apron use is minimized to allow satellite scenery to show through as much as possible, and objects are placed based on the MSE textures - lack of it may make scenery look out of place.

Kugaaruk is on the coast of northern mainland Canada on the Boothia Peninsula, 60 miles into a deep north-south fjord-like inlet called Pelly Bay. The name was changed from Pelly Bay in 1999, and the population is around 800. Gjoa Haven is 150 miles to the west, and Hall Beach just over 200 miles to the east. Six miles south of the village, and connected by a gravel road, there is a NWS station and what remains of a DEW Auxiliary Site; the DEW site was closed in 1992, a year after the NWS station became operational. There is also a 3,350 feet long gravel runway beside Barrow Lake 2 miles east of the site, Pelly Bay CWPB. Kugaaruk airfield is adjacent to the village and the 5,000 feet of 100 feet wide gravel runway is aligned 049T/229T where T stands for "true" as opposed to magnetic. There are flights by First Air and Canadian North and the AI includes a daily flight of each from Yellowknife via Gjoa Haven (as per real life) plus a cargo visit by Buffalo. Although the runway is long enough to accomodate a 737 it is not licensed for regular scheduled jet flights; the reason for this is that the approach lighting is "inadequate". Included here is a new .bgl for Gjoa Haven which will remove the small hold short line from the gravel; my mistake.
